Family-friendly holiday rentals in Archipelago of Gothenburg

My family had a wonderful week long stay at Lena and Johan's beautiful property. The house was tastefully decorated with lots of cute little details and very nice, comfortable furniture. We especially enjoyed the artwork on the walls, so colorful and fun! The kitchen was perfect for preparing meals in and the views out of the windows and from the back deck were magnificent! The house and neighborhood were very comfortable and peaceful, which was exactly what we were looking for. Lena and Johan met us at check-in and were very kind and helpful. I also appreciated the fresh cut flowers that were left for us to enjoy. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again, it was everything I had hoped it would be! Thank you Lena and Johan!

It was great staying at Robert’s place! He is super responsive and kind. The place got a beautiful view on the lake. The lake is also in walking distance from the house. We had bit of a thing with a few mosquitos once the sun set, but if you bring some anti mosquito candles or something similar, it’s all easy. That’s just normal so close to a lake :) we truly enjoyed the time there and would highly recommend the place to anyone interested in a calm and peaceful stay.

We spent 1 week in Bram's house and felt very comfortable! The location is perfect for relaxing and as a starting point for excursions! For the 2 of us, the house was actually too big, you could easily stay there with 4-6 people. We liked the view, the tranquility, the hot tub and the table tennis table the best. The nearest supermarket is 7 minutes by car, and there is EVERYTHING! If you drive into the housing estate, you will be greeted by the "neighbors" in a friendly manner when you pass by, 😁despite the foreign license plate!! We thought that was great and of course we waved back friendly👋 Bram and Anneli were totally nice hosts and responded promptly when we wrote. We give it 5 out of 5 stars, because it is a mega accommodation in a dreamy spot on earth!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We visited Gothenburg to see our daughter at university. The location is perfect for both seeing our daughter and accessing the city and all it’s attractions. The apartment was perfect, very comfortable, very clean and had absolutely everything we needed and more. An amazing place with a very friendly and helpful host. Great city to visit with fantastic transport network, so simple and easy. Plenty to see from a perfect location. G & J

the cottage, the location and Helen and Morgan were all great. We loved our time in the house and at Helen and Morgan's place. For us, this is a perfect location. Our son loved the farmyard to play and walk around. Staying here is perfect. The hosts are very friendly and cheerful. They are happy to talk to you and are very helpful. The nature here is beautiful and you can also be quickly in beautiful places from here, such as the coast, Varberg, Gekås or Gotenburg. We'll be back 100%.

We, two families with five children, had an unforgettable time with Annika and Jonas. The house was large and superbly equipped. Annika welcomed us directly after arrival and gave us some tips for the area. The dreamy beach, the whirlpool and the sauna on the sea are a great luxury after a long day of excursions. We can only highly recommend this accommodation and hope that we can come back soon.

This is one of if not the best stays I’ve had on AirBnB. The service was fantastic. Mario was very welcoming from start to finish. The food was delicious and the room was very comfortable and clean. There is plenty to do from Jetboarding, walks with views, hot tub, sauna and much more. We are already planning to come back with family. Thank you so much Mario. It’s been a pleasure.

Lovely week at the Gothia cup! We were a party of seven people and got good space in the house, grilled on the terrace and bathed in the hot tub. The weather was not so inviting for sea bathing but walking distance to the beach. Easy to get to games by car and good bus connections to Liseberg and the city center. Recommended!

We felt very comfortable. The accommodation looked like the photos and was very clean. Lizette had described everything well, so check-in and check-out were very easy. She was always easy to reach and there were maps and tips for staying on Styrsö in the accommodation. The island is quiet and beautiful. Thanks to the bicycles, we were able to explore it well. We will be back!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful penthouse! We couldn’t have dreamed of a better place for our trip to Gothenburg. It was incredibly easy to get to the city center by tram, but honestly, we were just as happy spending time in the apartment itself. The space is gorgeous: a big, well-equipped kitchen perfect for cooking, tons of natural light, a cozy bed, and Sonos speakers throughout the place so we could enjoy music in every room. Our personal favorite was the little movie theater nook, the coziest spot to wind down in the evenings. There’s even a sweet little terrace for morning coffee or evening hangs. We didn’t want to leave and are already dreaming about coming back someday. Highly recommend!

Hanna and Kalle's place was a perfect little sanctuary! I couldn't recommend it more highly. Lovely touch of nice shampoo etc. in the bathroom too!!

We had a really nice staycation at Sara's cozy cottage. We were welcomed and felt right at home. The place was warm and surrounded by greenery and in a quiet neighborhood, well equipped and had all essentials needed for the trip. Sara was an amazing host; she was very friendly, helpful, prompt in replying as well as in any assistance we needed throughout our stay. We definitely would love to be back next time!

Fantastically nice accommodation and Eva is a very nice host. Wonderful terrace with sun and sea views. Perfect for those who want to get away for a while and enjoy the magical west coast. The accommodation is small but very cozy and has everything you could possibly need. By car, you can easily reach various nice excursion destinations and coastal resorts with lovely surroundings, restaurants and shops. Highly recommended!

We had a super cozy stay with our two kids and our dog Lulu! Cozy cottage, well cleaned, clean sheets and perfect if you want a quiet and peaceful vacation.

I highly recommend Heidi's house! It is a very nice house with everything you may need to stay comfortably with several people. Heidi is a very nice and flexible host who responds quickly. The house is very well located near lots of good restaurants and cafés!

An absolutely perfect stay over Midsommar in Sweden! I would highly recommend this place! We were very pleasantly surprised upon arrival, and everything was exactly as (if not better!) described. The house was sparkling clean, very lovingly furnished and equipped with everything you need – from coffee to towels to small extras that made the stay special. The location was simply fantastic: quiet, relaxing and just a few steps from the beach - ideal for those seeking relaxation and nature. I was particularly impressed by the hospitality and helpfulness on the part of Lotti – the communication was fast, friendly and totally uncomplicated. You immediately felt welcome and completely comfortable. I would come back anytime and recommend this accommodation without hesitation. Thank you for this wonderful stay!

Super nice accommodation in central Gothenburg! The host was super nice and made us feel at home! The house is within walking distance of the city with a nice walk. Nice restaurants nearby with good variety, we got great tips from the host both for the restaurants/bars that were nearby but also inside the city. As well as directions and tips for getting to Ullevi and the concert in the best way. + with parking on the premises! 10/10, we'll be back!

We've had a super mini vacation at Linda's place. Good info ahead of time and pleasantly surprised by the pool. The home had everything we needed for a week in Gothenburg! Short distance to most, good hiking opportunities and quiet surroundings.

Good place to explore the area. Unique is the hot tub and Sauna next to the cottage that you have to yourself. Parents gratefully used but children also liked the hot tub very much, fired up with wood so start on time. Will make the owner available, free of charge! Garden the children can play well in and there are toys for the children, garden also nice to play. Cottage itself has no nice views, you are in the garden of the owners as if you are in the garden of the owners, but that is not an obstacle for us. The area certainly offers beautiful views. Good in the middle with Smogen, other villages and nice hiking trails. On the other side of the canal (1 km) there are very nice routes on the left. Also been around by bike, but there are no bike paths in the immediate vicinity. Hostess, friendly and helpful!

Wonderful home and hosts! Love the location for a family vacation, easy to use public transits and supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance.
