Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Aransas County

I love this place and will book again. It’s been several since I’ve vacationed and this was it ! Everything I expected. House was clean and inviting. When we arrived, the air conditioner was on and it was super comfortable in the house. The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed. The bedding was like butter. I don’t even know how to explain it. It was just so comfortable. I literally melted into the bed. I slept like a baby. I haven’t done that in years. I am retired and so is Grandma obviously and we had a great time even though we stayed in the house most of the time while the kids ran around and did activities I couldn’t be happier or host was definitely responsive and accommodating. I really wanted to stay longer, but we couldn’t because he had someone else coming in again thank you Michael for hosting us. We had a great time.

When the place next door to your vacation home of 45+ years becomes a short term rental property, you would think our first reaction would be “oh no, there goes the neighborhood.” But much to Erin and Jennifer’s credit, we have not experienced one single problem. It’s all been positive. In fact, we just rented their place to host overflow lodging for our family. Not only was the place just the right size, but to have family be able to stay right next door at a very reasonable price doesn’t get any more convenient than that! Thanks E&J. Until next time!

The house is beautiful, and in the perfect location. Tucked away and private, but central to everywhere we needed to go. Walking distance to our favorite coffee shop, as well as lots of restaurants. Large backyard that our kids and dogs enjoyed. Anything we forgot, was there available for use. I will definitely be staying here again.

My sister and I enjoyed staying at Pelican Cottage. It had everything we needed. It was centrally located and close to the water. We would stay there again.

Absolutely wonderful for a large group or family we had plenty of space for privacy and also for spending time with each other!

We had an amazing time being there. The location was just perfect. not too far from anything. we definitely walked if we didn’t rent out a golf cart. Access to the pool was also pretty easy and fun. Such an amazing time

Great location, off the main streets so quiet for a beach town rental. Very clean, no insects or broken equipment....everything was great!

The condo was great. Location was easy to get to grocery, beach, restaurants…etc. Even though its a community, it was still quiet and peaceful. The condo itself was well taken care of and very clean. Kelli herself was very responsive and easy to work with. She was very sweet and easy to talk with. Definitely would visit again!

This is a beachfront condo you can walk to the beach. That was a plus since we had our 2 grandkids with us. The condo was spacious and nicely decorated. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook a meal. We will definitely book this condo again in the future.

I have to say what a great place! I will be staying here again. Perfect location and very clean and perfect getaway for the family! Fishing right out back. 10 min from all the good restaurants and perfect location for summer stays as your not cooking in the sun facing east or west. The breeze outback made it fantastic all day outside! Inside was very clean. The views from living room was great as well. Highly recommend!

Great space for a family of 6 adults and 2 kids. Family with kids downstairs allowed privacy and upstairs we enjoyed the extra balcony! Beautiful space right on the water, comfy couches, and overall clean when we walked in. The host was very quick to respond and accommodating when I had questions or concerns. There is no fishing net, so bring your own! We missed a pretty big flounder for not being prepared, but still caught some drum and little reds. Loved being able to fish right off the dock. Only suggestions I have is to add some extra chairs at the dining table because some are missing and the door lock makes a loud noise if you leave it open for too long. Locks on the bedroom doors would allow for more privacy. One cabinet in the kitchen doesn’t close all the way but not a big deal! I would stay again!

This was our 3rd time staying at Eveline’s place. Great downtown location with a great view of the beach. We always have a great time when we go and create memories with the family. See you again next summer!

Lisa was beyond wonderful. She was extremely responsive, answered all my questions. She even accommodated a last minute cancellation on our end and was very understanding. The condo was perfect in every way. Lisa thought of literally anything, and everything you could need being right on the water and close to the beach. The pool was perfect and so nice to relax in. My husband is already coordinating a trip back with his dad and the boat. Thank you so much for having us we would love to come back again.

Only stayed a couple of nights…Darrell was very accommodating and condo was very clean and well stocked with cooking and serving necessities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will consider booking again.

We came for a couple of days, we had clear instructions, and we were comfortable there. Since it was a 2 bedroom place we did have sleeping options. (Some places only allow you to use 1 br, if you're a couple, and the others are off limits.) That was a plus. Also, Michelle resolved any questions we had immediately. Lots of space, games, and swimming if you'd like. Shopping and beach are nearby too. We recommend. .
