The place was very spacious for a group of five. It was clean and everything was within walking distance. The Ac worked great because the trip was definitely hot and humid. Would stay there again.

Our stay was great! The condo was homey and so comfy. The location is perfect. Right in the middle of the action of Frenchmen, which is my favorite spot in New Orleans. Will definitely stay again!

Phil and I have been staying at Louis and Aldonia’s home every year for our anniversary, for about 3 or so years now, out of all the places in the city we have stayed.. Their place is the absolute best, extremely responsive and warm, very kind and understanding if any issues arise. They are very quick to responding. Absolutely incredible. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being so welcoming for us every single year. Can’t wait to come back next year and so forth!

Brenna & Nick’s place was the perfect home away from home for our party of four. Spacious rooms with modern conveniences and vintage pieces mixing well together. The decor is thoughtful, chic and invokes the spirit of New Orleans without being too precious. High ceilings with fans and AC that kept us cool in the June heat. We didn’t spend much time cooking to be honest. But the space was welcoming with basic cutlery, glasses and dishes available. Lots of seating. Very close to Magazine Street with its antique shops, eclectic bars, various restaurants and just a stroll away from St Charles for the streetcar. Loved sitting on the balcony during the lightening storm watching the rainfall. Truthfully I can’t complain about a single thing other than my visit feeling like it was over too soon. But that’s my own fault. Hopefully I left Brenna & Nick with a good impression and they’ll have me back as a guest. So I can embrace one of my favorite cities again and again!

Foremost, the apartment was squeaky clean and tidy - always most important for me. I loved the tall ceilings, old double doors, and wavy glass windows. The historical feel of both the house and the apartment was very homey. The house itself was beautiful and the garden immaculate. The location close to the bayou was nice. The hosts were good to answer questions about getting around in the city, and provided recommendations. Overall, we were comfortable and really enjoyed our stay.

Everything was terrific! I had a question about the AC and Shirley and Minka were very responsive and helpful. Very clean and welcoming and I would stay there again!

Our stay at Katherine's home was wonderful. Close to Magazine Street which has several stores and eateries. A short Lyft ride into the French Quarter. The home had everything we needed. We greatly appreciated Katherine's quick responses and flexibility on early check-in and allowing us to keep our luggage at the home until our evening flight. Thank you so much!!

We loved our stay at the Bywater Gem! Loved being able to pop in across the street at Bud Rips- lots to walk to and do. The place was clean and comfy. All was great for us for this stay.

Quiet neighborhood close to a variety of handy stores. Close to Nunez Community College for training course I was taking. Good, clean accommodations.

I’ve read a lot of these reviews and it feels like people are often sleuthing for some tiny flaw to cry about. But me, I was so happy with my stay. Zero complaints. Gorgeous shotgun apt (huge btw- far more space than I needed!), great yard to sit and drink coffee in, tons of amenities (the bikes are a great touch though I didn’t use them- would totally have done so with more time in the city). Walked to the levee with my pup, went to the Joint, hung out at Bud Rips. Perfect Bywater day. I’d stay again in a heartbeat.

I love the Bywater area, and it was so easy to walk to all the quickly local spots. Also, Ubers were cheap if you wanted to venture farther since the place is centrally located. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for 3 days and overall an awesome experience! Beautiful home—cozy and spacious enough for our family of 4 that include two little boys who need room to roam freely. Everything was clean and provided, including shampoos and mouthwash which can’t always be found with other hosts. Wonderful parking in front of the place. Getting in and out was easy, had a nice little patio. It’s mosquito season so, of course they were bad, but nothing drastic. The only real issue we had was having internet problems with the TV—we were able to connect it the day we came in but later had to use our hotspot. Doris had mentioned they had just gotten a new system so it’d probably be a little funny. Honestly, wasn’t even that big of a deal and we simply appreciated their honesty and how well they communicated! Wouldn’t take longer than about 15 minutes to respond to a text, which is helpful. Great experience and hope to stay again.

Loved this place. Great location outside of the French Quarter while being a quick Uber ride or bus ride there. The neighborhood has several places to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. Even a short walk to hear live music. The place was just as described and shown online. Modern and cozy. Host was very responsive. We will definitely be back.

The Airbnb was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described (if not better!). The host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, making check-in and check-out smooth and easy. The location was close to everything we needed but still peaceful and quiet. We felt right at home and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable experience!

Ligy was such a wonderful host! She was friendly and extremely responsive. I could tell that she really cared about making sure our stay was the best it could be and totally went the extra mile to do so. She was very accommodating. The place itself was really nice. It was a well managed room in a time-share hotel that fit me and my father's needs perfectly for a last minute one-night stay for the super bowl without having to settle on quality or cleanliness. Thank you so much!

We had a great stay. Beds were comfortable and there was a spacious kitchen & a fridge with a water filter and ice maker, which was a bonus. All of our needs were met. An elevator was broken and there was no way to access the stairs from the bottom so that required some patience as only one elevator was operational. Property management company runs a tight ship so make sure to read all of their rules before signing on the dotted line.

My husband and I had a really wonderful and memorable stay, thanks to Ian, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. He went out of his way to make us feel at home, offering genuine hospitality and even took us out on our last night in New Orleans (during Jazz Fest), which ended up being one of the highlights of our trip! The space itself is definitely more of a lived-in space; cozy but a little cluttered. That said, the unit is bigger than the photos lead on. There is a bonus sink/vanity right outside of the bathroom, that was certainly a plus for us when getting ready for the day/night. The location is ideal, walking distance to grocery stores, street cars, buses, and GREAT restaurants; at the same time the apt is remote and away from any street noise. We did run into an issue with the shower temperature and Ian fixed it right away. If you're someone who values a warm, local connection over a super polished space, this is your spot! Ian's hospitality is next to none!

Joe was the most genuine and kind host I think I have ever had. Paul too!!! The home was stunning and cozy, always cool after a long walk around the city. The neighbors were friendly and the neighborhood never felt uncomfortable for even a second. We even had a moment of panic on our last night when we couldn't find our key (we did end up finding it.. phew) and Joe was helpful and understanding at a late hour. My only regret is not taking the chance to get to know the neighbors better!! Thank you again for being our home away from home for our honeymoon!!! Love - The Niedzinski Family
