Nishimura Residence is an old-fashioned Nara-machiya that has been standing on a piece of Nara-machi for more than 100 years. I was a “grandmother” for a long time when I was a child. In Nara Town, there is a pleasant despicable feeling that never changes. "I want to be filled with this pleasant contempt even for future generations." With that in mind, I took care of the empty Nishimura Residence. - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.

NEW OPEN! We are pleased to announce the opening of "Plum Naramachi" MOMIJI Residence in Naramachi, a 10-minute walk from Kintetsu Nara Station, with 4 beds that can accommodate up to 8 people. There are three independent rooms on the second floor. The rooms have all been newly renovated and are very clean and tidy. You can spend your stay comfortably. welcome drinks are free of charge. There is a private parking lot/one car (free of charge) in front of the entrance of the accommodation.

Our guesthouse is located in the old town called Nara-machi. There used to be many traditional wooden townhouses known as Machiya. We restored Machiya while keeping the original structure in order to provide you with a traditional Japanese experience with local atmosphere.This house is for only private use and has only one floor with Japanese style room, shower room, washroom, sink and small garden.
