Lovely cottage, had everything we needed for a great week. Well appointed kitchen and bathrooms. All the crockery, utensils and pans you need for cooking. Hot tub was certainly a favourite and well used! Nice to have plastic ‘glasses’ for use outside. Great selection of games was a nice surprise. Being able to walk the dog right from the doorstep made it so easy - we really enjoyed exploring the smallholding. Hosts were very quick to respond with answers and support. Yes, the Tesco delivery man did manage to find us and unload :-)

Very lovely place, me and my girlfriend stayed here for a weekend and had no complaints. The host responded quickly and the property looked exactly like the photos. All the extra little touches like the fire wood, slippers, eggs and etc really made us feel welcome. Overall we really enjoyed our stayed and would happily stay here again.

The place was really nice and absolutely spotless when we got there. Nigel and Perry were both very nice and helpful and responded very quickly to messages. The only things is one of the windows didn’t have a blind which made it very bright in the mornings and struggled to sleep in. Also the sat nav brought us in a different direction from the directions on the listing which was a little confusing but Nigel was stood outside waiting for us when we arrived so wasn’t really a problem. Just something to mention. Overall it was a really nice stay and would recommend.

A brilliant stay in sues lodge. It’s so close to the beach! It was such an added extra to have a hot tub and the lodge was beautifully clean.

Such a beautiful little place, Sally provided everything you could need. She was so responsive and gave recommendations for restaurants and pubs. Made our stay so easy and a seamless check in/out. Thanks Sally!!

Lesley’s place was perfect for our needs. It was peaceful and it was close to all of the things we wanted to do in the area. The cottage was clean, the kitchen has everything we needed to cook and eat in. It was a bit of a climb to get to the entrance and it was two floors, so anyone with mobility issues should look at that. However, we had a great stay in a very beautiful part of the UK.

A really lovely cottage with beautiful walks near by. It’s a nice place to go to for a quiet romantic get away.

it's our second stay at Fish Cottage, the kids love it, we love it. As we are originally from devon we can access all our favourite places on day trips due to the location so really works for us Cottage is spacious, interesting and really well equipped and comfortable for our family. will continue each year if we can !! thankyou

Spent a lovely relaxing few days away in the cottage. The cottage had everything we needed and more and the welcome gifts were a lovely surprise. Lovely shower and such a quiet location. Tim was very responsive and helpful. It was a home from home 😁.

Perfect for my friend and i very comfortable & peaceful. We picked it for our short break because it was near to the places we wished to visit, RHS Rosemore, Instow & Appledore & the Burton Gallery at Bideford. So a very succeßful break all round. Would recomend

Great Croyde village location. Right opposite one of the three pubs in the village and 15 mins gentle walk to the beach. We stayed with our young baby, although Karen didn’t have a travel cot there was plenty of room in the spacious bedroom for ours. We loved the big TV which was great for evening movies. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, we especially loved the selection of mugs ( big sizes and lots of lovely hand thrown designs). At the back of the footage there is a l small space for boards and wetsuits. We felt instantly at home and even got chatting to our neighbours in The Thatch one evening.

Wow! Fantastic accommodation - beautiful and tastefully decorated. Everything you need is already thought of. Set in the most idyllic setting with a beautiful walk on doorstep. Simon and Tracey respond immediately. Thank you for the cake guys. Perfect place to stay.

Lovely riverside cottage right next to the Tarka trail for a nice coastal walk and very easy access to the village.

The cottage was just what we were looking for. It was easy to find, comfortable, clean, spacious, the garden was private and the perfect size for our little dog. The best welcome pack ever, it was close to all amenities. Lots of great places to eat. Lots of walks. We love North Devon and will definitely recommend and come back to the cottage.

Mary and John literally saved our weekend. I'm not going to go into details because I'm a bit embarrassed. Suffice to say, they went out of their way to make us feel completely at home and helped us so so much. Thank you so much both, and I wish you the very best with your interesting lives. Perfect location close to beach and great restaurants. Wonderful walks on the doorstep on the Tarka Trail. The cottage had everything we needed except an iron but it didn’t matter. The shower was so powerful i think I will miss it 😁 Our dogs loved the dog bed provided so much we have bought a similar one. I would definitely recommend staying here. We had a lovely time.

I could confidently say that Aysha House is the best Airbnb I stayed! House has been beautifully decorated throughout and so many little extras made our stay so comfortable. We enjoyed our morning in the warm, sunny conservatory, enjoyed the BBQ in the back garden, relaxing chat in the super cosy living room in the evening. It's only 5 minutes to the surfing school and the beach. There is also Tesco Express 5 minutes away. We will definitely come back here again.

A lovely little bolthole in North Devon. Far enough off the beaten track to feel remote, close enough to the bigger towns for entertainment as required. We ate in Georgeham which is a 20 minute walk for some great food in The Kings Arms. The dawn chorus in the morning was a delight to wake up too. Prior to arrival, clear instructions were provided by the host to ensure we found the house with no fuss. Highly recommended.

The place was exactly as advertised if not better, everything in the house was easy to use thanks to the guide given and the responsiveness of our host Simon.

Melinda's Cottage was warm and welcoming with plenty of room for 2 adults and dogs. We found the cottage surprisingly cool amidst a mini heatwave. Evenings are a delight with no light or noise pollution (sleepers paradise) The garden is a sun trap with some shade available and perfect for outside dining. The neighbours were very friendly and helpful with local knowledge. A steep decent to Bucks Mills beach, however for a large sandy beach, Westwood Ho! is only a 10 minute drive away. Melinda's Cottage is surrounded by a woodland valley which has an abundance of nature to enjoy on your walks. To sum up a fantastic place to stay and would thoroughly recommend a visit.

From the initial booking to my departure today I could not fault the process, communication or accommodation. It surpassed my expectations in being quiet, peaceful, spotlessly clean and had all I needed for a wonderful few days away. On the first night I could not get the TV to work and within one hour of speaking to Doug new batteries were provided and the problem solved. This is the kind of service that produces a first class review. I would love to visit again.

We just returned from a great stay at Weare Cottage. It’s perfectly located to be an excellent base from which to explore the area. We walked round to the Cyder Presse pub for Sunday lunch and had a very nice evening meal there too. Wendy is a generous and thoughtful host who has gone to great lengths to provide everything you may need during your stay. The beds are lovely and comfortable and our 2 year old Granddaughter loved playing with all the toys and books in the cottage. We would love to stay there again if we return to the area.
