Clean modern flat with nice exposed beamed area & ceiling so you get a sense of the old architecture. Very good floor plan with a space for all you need!

The trails nearby were stunning, and the place itself was warm, comfortable, and full of charm. After a day of hiking, it was the best feeling to come back to such a cozy, peaceful space. Highly recommend!

Great for your stay in St gallen. From the Airbnb ots super easy to get to the center or other parts of the city. Everything was clean, quiet neighborhood and the host was friendly and responsive!

Helene was an excellent host. We felt very welcomed and right at home. She was baking and brought us the most delicious piece of carrot cake we’ve ever had to welcome us. We checked out early and Helene even let us keep our vehicle parked in her driveway beyond our checkout time while we explored the area. Overall a lovely experience and we would stay with Helene again in a heartbeat!

I was lucky enough to stay here a second time, this time I was able to enjoy the garden and go on beautiful walks right from the front door. Highly recommend!

The cottage is idyllically located on a small vineyard. nice weather has my great view of the valley. There are some shopping and a small bakery nearby. From Marbach, you can also find many excursion destinations reach out.

The stay, as it were in my closer home, was excellent in all respects! I was already welcomed at the train station by the very helpful hostess Chantal, who moved my heavy suitcase to the lovingly furnished accommodation, where I immediately felt comfortable, which then manifested itself every night in an excellent sleep. With cooking in the richly equipped kitchen, exciting conversations, together with her partner Marc, and excursions in the charming surroundings, the week passed in flight. I highly recommend staying with Chantal and Marc to anyone looking for tranquility in stylish simplicity, a beautiful area and warm-hearted hosts !

Lukas is a perfect host. We had a warm and friendly welcome and great communication, even though it was just 1 night, we felt very welcomed. The room is spacious, comfortable and super clean, and parking is good being off the street and infront of the window of the room. This place is truly wonderful. Peaceful and beautiful surroundings. The house is well equipped with everything you need for a holiday stay. Very clean with modern amenities where needed. Beautiful decorations of historic pieces and local furnishings. Less than 10 minutes to downtown Appenzell and short drive to St.Gallen. The host is also great to work with. She is very kind, responsive and helpful. Highly recommend for a peaceful and convenient stay!

My family (with 2 small kids) and I spent a great time in Peter’s apartment. The location is amazing and the apartment very big and well equipped. We especially enjoyed the bbq and terrace with some friends. We would love to comeback next year again!

It was such a wonderful house that you could say "I wish this apartment was mine"! It was a very peaceful, enjoyable, wonderful accommodation that I never wanted to leave. I must admit that I had a hard time leaving. Everything was very nice. The apartment was modern. The hosts were extremely friendly, understanding and sweet people. Our family of 5 used Nicole's place in Unterterzen as a home base to visit Switzerland. The apartment was clean, larger than we expected based on the pictures and description, and easily walkable to the train station and grocery store. The kitchen was very well appointed compared to other Airbnb's. The lake and surroundings are grogeous, with easily walkable paths and is close to the Gondola up to Flumersberg and the ferry to other cities around the lake. Everything at the apartment was operational and instructions from Nicole for checkin / checkout were very clear. Nicole was responsive to any questions and needs. We very much enjoyed our stay in Unterterzen and had many memorable experiences we will carry for the rest of our lives.
