Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Appenzell Innerrhoden

We were able to spend super nice days at Manuela's cottage for the second time. Everything was perfect again. The large garden was a highlight for young and old to play, discover or relax. We really appreciated the many toys for the kids. The house is also very lovingly furnished. Thank you very much dear Manuela.

johannes was a very forthcoming host, whenever we ve had an issue he was very quick in response. also did he offe us a refund since we have had some issues while staying. but since he resolved these greatly there is nothing to complain about. would again stay at his lovely house. thanks for hosting!

Beautiful location even without leaving the house, just looking through windows or on balcony. But otherwise within 30 mins driving anywhere you go it's a pleasure, particularly if you like hiking. House is very comfortable and quiet, we particularly were impressed with how well stocked the kitchen was - even if we did not have food with us on arrival we would not be hungry 😀. So far I'd say our favorite area in whole Switzerland and great location. All kinds of local information is provided by hosts, including maps - very thoughtful and greatly appreciated. When we come back to Switzerland this is the area we would like to come back to most and explore further and this is the house we would consider renting first, if available. Host was also very responsive, which always is appreciated.

Great location and comfortable.

The location where the cottage is located is really nice! You have a great view of the Säntis and can start hiking directly from the accommodation. The accommodation was as described, only the curtains were a little too translucent for us. We were on site with two dogs and felt very comfortable :-)

Thomas and his mother welcomed us very warmly. The house is very comfortable, has amazing views . The beds were comfortable, the house was clean and tidy and we felt very comfortable. It was a wonderful weekend with my family. Thank you Thomas and your parents. We will be happy to come back.

We felt very comfortable in Anita's country experience. It is a rustic and cozy farmhouse that has been lovingly renovated and furnished. You can tell from many little things that it is very important to Anita that the guests feel comfortable. There was also a lovely welcome package. We were able to relax very well. In the morning, you could enjoy the first coffee on the bench in front of the house with a view of the countryside and cows. There is also a large dining table under an old tree with a beautiful view. There were also plenty of toys for the children. We say thank you from the heart and will be happy to come back.

The place was very comfortable for our family of five. The view from the balcony was lovely. We walked to all the restaurants and shops. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

The days in Paradiesli were wonderful! I was able to recharge body and soul. The surroundings are fantastic - perfect for hiking! In addition, Ursula is extremely friendly and helpful. So I immediately felt at home. The apartment is great - very nice and very clean. I look forward to the next time! Jacqueline

Regula's apartment was super clean and had such and amazing view! It was so quiet at night and had a giant sky filled with stars. Convenient location and only a short drive to Appenzel. We used this place as a base camp to hike to the Schafler hut and Äscher. Regula was such a wonderful host and left us some delicious homemade jam upon our arrival. She gave us great recommendations and was super friendly. This was a highlight of our trip. If her apartment is available, book it!

We spent 9 nights in Brigitte's apartment, which is located above Appenzell (about 10 minutes' walk from the center) on the edge of the forest and offers a wonderful view of the Alpstein. Wonderfully quiet and close to nature. The granny flat of the farmhouse has recently been tastefully and gently renovated, with the well-equipped kitchen and bathroom being new and ultra-modern, while the large living room and bedroom have been preserved in the old, characterful style. Brigitte is a very warm host. She provided us with current tips (for alpine ascents you have to get up early...;-) and answered our questions within a very short time. We were completely satisfied! There is a lot of beauty to see and discover around Appenzell: tasting alpine bitters, show dairy, baking beavers, indoor swimming pool, village tour, golf course Gonten, etc... Säntis with Schwägalp, Ebenalp with the Äscher, Kronberg and Hoher Kasten offer great hikes for everyone. Recommended.

Roger’s place is an absolute hidden gem! The place was impeccably clean and had everything I needed, and more. It’s located in a peaceful and beautiful area at a relatively higher altitude, offering amazing views from all sides. The sunsets every night were especially dreamy. We felt lucky to have found this place and definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys the beauty of Appenzell. Thanks, Roger!

Really nice appartment perfectly located in Walenstadt. It's a two-bedroom apartment with a separate kitchen and both roomy bathroom and living/diningroom. Highlight is the nice view from the living room as well as the outside area. Fully and well equipped: comfortable beds, the kitchen incl. dish-washing and coffee machines, living room featuring TV incl. gaming console, grill in the exterior area. Some details went beyond expectations: bathroom with pleasant toileteries, complete equipment to grill outside. Location is really convenient. Aprox 10 min walk from both the centre of Walenstadt, as well as from the lake and the big playground for the kids. The area is residential area, at the very end of street hence quite and reassuring for the kids playing outside. Michaela was a wonderful host, preparing the appartment up to details, and also answering questions and helping us to make the stay even more convenient. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Jana is a friendly host. Very helpful and outgoing. We felt at ease. The apartment is very clean and spacious. We were allowed to use the sauna for a small fee. Highly recommendable.

Our family of 5 used Nicole's place in Unterterzen as a home base to visit Switzerland. The apartment was clean, larger than we expected based on the pictures and description, and easily walkable to the train station and grocery store. The kitchen was very well appointed compared to other Airbnb's. The lake and surroundings are grogeous, with easily walkable paths and is close to the Gondola up to Flumersberg and the ferry to other cities around the lake. Everything at the apartment was operational and instructions from Nicole for checkin / checkout were very clear. Nicole was responsive to any questions and needs. We very much enjoyed our stay in Unterterzen and had many memorable experiences we will carry for the rest of our lives.

Beautiful apartment located right on the water. This was an amazing experience for my family. Had everything we needed and the beds were very comfy! We had an amazing time! Kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Amazing views and excellent location.

The place was easy to find and is located in a beautiful area that invites you to walk. It was quiet and the place was clean and lovingly furnished. The hosts also responded quickly to me, which was only shown to me when I was in the apartment again, as I had limited internet on the phone on the way. 😅 What to see, how best to walk from the train station to the accommodation. We walked different paths for the days and then found the perfect way for us. In addition, the surroundings are so beautiful that we also forgot very quickly how much we actually walked. What we then had to pay attention to was that we do not bring any animals into the accommodation. 😅😂 There was a situation that we wanted to open the front door and then a frog sat downstairs at the door. Fortunately, we had seen it in time. I can definitely recommend it 🙏🙏
