Cabin holiday rentals in Apostle Islands

Beautiful location, quiet can see so many stars at night. We went in the Spring as we wanted to visit state parks in northern Wisconsin. Couldn’t have asked for a better place.

This place was such a good weekend get away! This cabin is super private which we loved. So much wild life! and they had lots of fun activities to offer! Lovely space!

Hannah’s place was gorgeous, comfortable, functional and clean. The location was amazing for nature lovers although we were just as happy relaxing at the house! I definitely plan to return in the future because we had such a great experience.

Beautiful cabin! Our family felt right at home. We brought our own boat- the ramp is close and private dock was perfect! Would highly recommend this cabin! 😊

Plenty of space and a good location for ski in/ski out

Had a great time connecting with the family. Hosts were very friendly and responsive. Right on a lake which the older kids/young adults enjoyed during our winter visit.

The photos don’t do this location justice! The accommodations were top notch, and Jeanne makes you feel like family! Worth every penny! Will be back again to show more friends and family this amazing place!

Absolutely loved Harvest Moon Cabin! How peaceful it was, just a comfy place to be. We saw lots of wildlife too! Bears, deer, it was so fun! The northern lights even came out for a while. I would love to come back someday! Thanks for a great stay.

The cabin exceeded our expectations. It was beautiful and private, but close to many of the points of interest we traveled to the area for. We would definitely stay here again.

Dan’s location was the perfect setting for a great vacation… Kasomo lake is private, quiet, relaxing and very beautiful! His cottage is comfortable, quaint and contains everything you need to get away yet feel like you are home. Dan was beyond helpful and responsive. We are already planning an Autumn vacation back to Dan’s. If you need some rest/play in Vilas county, this is your place!

A very good place to base exploration of the surrounding area. Has all the amenities that parents with young children need including a folding crib, high chair, playground, and a safe interior space for them to play. Very well-appointed interior, fully equipped kitchen, nice bathroom. We plan to stay here every time we need a place to stay around here.

Just as before. It was a wonderful stay. This time with deer walking through the front & back yard!! Such a beautiful location! Hope to come back soon.

We had a very fun time and Keith and Sara were helpful when we had any questions. The area is beautiful and canoeing on the lake is a must!

Lacey’s Blueberry Cottage was the perfect weekend getaway from the city. My sister and I booked this cottage for our mom’s 60th birthday and we had an absolute blast! The cottage is tucked away and private, but still close enough to the main highway that we took into Bayfield (~30min drive) for a wonderful day of lakeside activities. The soft sandy beach was the perfect place to have a nighttime bonfire and listen to the waves crashing on the shore. The cottage itself was clean and tidy with lovely pieces of artwork and knick-knacks that made it feel warm and inviting. The screened-in porch was our favorite spot for morning coffee and late-night board games. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots and pans, coffee maker, toaster, and more. Lacey was an exceptional host and very responsive to all our questions. She recommended Herbster Beach as an ideal rock-hunting spot that we visited on our way home. All in all, I would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had a wonderful stay at Brandi's cabin. The place was even better than the photos and description. We caught an abundance of fish right off the dock all day, every day. The beds were comfy, and the place was clean and well stocked. We hope to come back soon!

Very cozy house in a beautiful setting. Location is great halfway between Bayfield and Cornucopia

We loved it. My wife needed a getaway and always wanted to see the Apostle Islands, and this turned out to be the perfect choice. Of course the weather was less than cooperative (40°, 40 mph winds and spotty showers mostly), but on the morning we checked out it was clear and calm and let us know why we need to come back. Just beautiful. It is very clean and well staged (my wife's word) - and has THE WORLD'S MOST COMFORTABLE BED!!! That in itself is a reason to come back. Best. Sleep. Ever. We want one! The internet is a little slow but had the weather been better we'd have never known that. There is so much to do and see in the area that TVs need not exist. We are contemplating a fall return. My wife didn't get to do the one thing she most wanted - a boat tour of the Islands (too windy) - so we have yet another excuse to go back. And we're looking forward to it!

Chelsea and Joel (and the owner, Mike) were great! We had a wonderful stay and appreciated the local recommendations the hosts offered. Mike was also incredibly helpful upon our arrival. He was happy to share exactly where everything was and what to do if we had any questions. The cabin and outhouse were very clean (and smell-free!), and we encountered no issues whatsoever. I would note, though, like others have, that this space is not necessarily “semi off grid.” The owner lives on the same property and another rented space is located there as well. We appreciated being close to help if the need arose, however. All in all, this cabin was exactly what we were looking for in a quiet space to stay during our hiking trip!

This was my second stay at Hart Haven, it was so nice the first time that I knew I wanted to see if it was available for this trip. Emily and Derek are wonderful hosts! The home is always so inviting and homey. Very clean (and I'm a picky person) and they have thought of everything you could need for your stay away from home. So peaceful and relaxing. I will definitely be checking the availability of Hart Haven for my future stays in Iron River. Thank you Emily and Derek!

Little Sisu was exactly what we expected! Peaceful, comfy, beautiful surroundings! Jesse was very responsive to any questions and concerns. The cabin had everything we needed and more. We will definitely be back, hopefully in the fall once the sauna is finished!

Absolutely amazing! We went on a road trip with two friends and spent two nights at Dreamwood. Our goal was to find a secluded place—and this was exactly it. It was a rare and unforgettable experience! Everything was perfect: we found ourselves completely alone, surrounded by nature—an ideal setting to disconnect, recharge, and take our time. The cabin is located right in the Porkies, so hiking trails are just a short drive away. There’s also private access to a quiet beach and the views are absolutely breathtaking—especially at sunset. Tom and Sol were lovely and available when needed. We’ll definitely be back!

We so enjoyed our stay at Corey's lakefront cabin! The cabin itself is so well built and has been recently remodeled. It's a family cabin and you truly felt like you are staying in someone's well stocked home. All the little extras you need for cooking (oils and SO many spices) and more. The bed was comfy and the surroundings were so quiet and peaceful. Located just under a half hour from town and close to the end of a long road, there was absolutely no traffic. We so enjoyed long evening walks and seeing the deer scamper through the forest. But you didn't have to leave the cabin to see deer as they made daily visits. Our favorite spot was out on the dock where the sunsets were often mirrored on the water and you could hear the loons calling at night. It truly is a special place!

exactly what we needed for a week along the north shore! my pup enjoyed his morning lake dips and watching the critters outside. super quiet and peaceful. so conveniently situation btw gooseberry falls and split rock. will def be back!

What a beautiful, peaceful place. We usually travel for activities and just need a place to sleep but the Northwoods cabin inspired us to take a few quiet days by the fire, watching a family of deer forage at the treeline as we ate breakfast. Stores and restaurants are just a 30 minute scenic drive away in any direction. Nathan and Jess responded to all of our questions quickly. We're already planning our next trip - in warmer weather so we can enjoy the screened in porch and trails.
