Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Antioch

We had a wonderful stay at Steve’s house. Everything was great from check in to check out. Comfortable, spacious and nicely appointed. We enjoyed the back patio and the close proximity to downtown. We appreciated the excellent communication, the ease of entry and parking in driveway. We hope that we will be able to stay here the next time we visit Walnut Creek!

Really nice house and pretty well-appointed. It was perfect for us, a family in Martinez for our daughter’s wedding. Only blocks away from her home and the venue, we were able to have everyone together in the mornings and evenings. Nice place and totally responsive owners. Thanks.

A Perfect Stay at the Craftsman’s Castle! We had an amazing stay at the Craftsman’s Castle in Concord, CA! The house was beautiful, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The highlight was definitely the backyard—it felt like a private retreat. The pool was incredible, and we spent hours enjoying the sun and the peaceful atmosphere. Daniel was a fantastic host—communicative, friendly, and made everything super easy from check-in to check-out. You can really tell he puts a lot of care into making sure guests have a great experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with top-notch amenities and an exceptional host. We’d love to come back again!

The house was wonderful, very comfortable and neighborhood was nice and peaceful. I would definitely recommend it to anyone!

We loved our 5 week stay in this quintessential California Eichler. This home is architecturally beautiful  — floor-to-ceiling glass walls, skylights and post-and-beam construction. The home is exceptionally private (you can’t see any neighboring homes once inside) and located on a court in a peaceful Eichler community. The open kitchen, dining and living room design is fantastic for gathering inside. The primary suite is on one side of the home, with the other two bedrooms and bath on the other side, which is great for family stays like ours.  We spent lots of time lounging in the atrium and yard  — the plants, palm trees and sky are gorgeous! The home is 3 miles from downtown Concord, 8 miles from Walnut Creek and 5 miles from Clayton. It’s a short walk/quick drive to Markham Arboretum and Nature Park. Phillip is a super, lovely host. Don’t pass up on a chance to stay here.

This home was gorgeous and very comfortable!! The bed was perfect and I slept better than I do in my own bed!! Kitchen is huge and has everything you need! Sun room was great on cooler mornings. Patio was fabulous on hotter days. Neighbors are super friendly and made me feel right at home! loved loved loved this place!! A few suggestions: I would propose changing the shower head to something hand held to accommodate taller individuals. It would be nice to have some sort of water amenities available for use, paddle boat, kayak, etc as the home is on the water and a selling point of the property. I did bring my own paddle board but was nervous to get in the water with a 200lb weight limit on the ladder to get back on the dock. I would also propose setting up a usable work station, maybe in place of the TV on the hutch. These suggestions are by no means a negative reflection to my stay. I still loved every bit of this home!!

We had an excellent stay at Erica's place! The home was fully equipped with all the essentials, making everything super comfortable and convenient. We were a large group of 8 and had an absolute blast. There were plenty of fun extras like board games and even a Pac-Man machine. One of the highlights was spending time outdoors. We did some fishing with our 4-year-old and caught plenty of bluegill. —Such a fun and memorable experience for the whole family. Thank you so much for hosting us, Erica! We will definitely consider staying again in the future.

Wonderful extended stay at Bella’s place. Lots of ventilation, clean home with retro vibes. We enjoyed the private and cozy garden porch area and hung out in that serene space. Excellent high speed wifi helped us work seamlessly. Kitchen appliances and vessels were top notch. Clearly marked labels identified all the items we needed. Will certainly look up Bella’s place when we visit next time. Bella was always responsive and friendly!

We were almost sorry to stay for only two nights. The place is just about perfect, with an exceptionally well-equipped kitchen and any amenity you might need (possible exception is a/c, but it wasn’t very warm during our stay). The traffic died down at night , making it a quiet place to sleep. Particularly nice is the immediate proximity of the bay tail: perfect for a morning run or an evening stroll. Oriel was very proactive communicating, and we never had any uncertainty about anything. Highly recommended: we would stay there again anytime!

Roberto‘s place was excellent! Everything from the small details of decor to the relaxing space. Great outdoor balcony and excellent location. We can’t wait to stay again.

Urban oasis is the perfect description for this residence. So quiet. Restful, verdant backyard patio (blooming Angel Trumpets were heavenly scented!), sweet dogs and comfortable and attractive furnishings. Was able to cook my breakfast every morning and easily heat up leftovers with well-outfitted kitchen and high-end appliances. Loved how eco-friendly the home is. Murphy bed in the living room was perfect. Walkable restaurants nearby - esp. Homeroom's mac & cheese! Loved everything about this place. We will definitely stay here again when visiting relatives nearby.

I loved Albina's place. It was so perfect for what we were looking for. It was cute, easy to find, easy parking and just so lovely. The highlight was the view. The bedroom window looked out to the city and the ocean. We never even turned the TV on since the view from the bed was just spectacular. We literally just watched the ocean and boats going by as the sunset before our eyes. The moon then came out and we went to bed just staring out at the sky. I hope to be able to stay here again. It was such a magical retreat.

This is a charming and peaceful place to stay in Stinson Beach. Walkable to the beach and a hiking trail steps from the front door. The outdoor fire pit was wonderful to wind down in the evening. The interior is calm, comfortable, inviting and very charming. Essentials such as coffee, cooking oil and seasoning is a bonus. The kitchen had everything needed. This is definitely a place to return to. Loved everything about our stay here.

This little home was everything you want and more. It was a peaceful getaway with a lot to do nearby! Everything we wanted to do was within a 10-20 minute drive, with not a lot of traffic at all. The home was comfortable, cozy and quiet. The backyard was completely fenced in, which was perfect for my dog to freely enjoy sunbathing. Comfy beds, spacious living room, laundry room, outdoor seating - this place had it all! Absolutely recommend.

Charles is a lovely, responsive host. He was upfront and honest about the glamping situation and there were no surprises. The wild garden, outdoor shower, and private hot tub were what we enjoyed most. We'll definitely be back!

5 stars for the location, nestled in the redwoods just 5 min walk from Mill Valley Downtown and Old Mill Park! Comfortable beds and sofas and great spaces for working, this worked really well for our staycation. The house is an 1880s cabin so it has some charming quirks! Seth is a responsive host and you can tell that he has put his heart and soul into every detail of the space — looks exactly like the photos!

The cabins were just what I was looking for to have a quiet low tech weekend. It was a perfectly peaceful little getaway tucked back on the property by the creek. The beach was so close, you could fall asleep to the sounds of the waves crashing and a super short walk to make sure you can catch sunrise/sunset. Charles was very welcoming, communicative, & extremely hospitable as he kindly extended some extra amenities to accommodate my last minute reservation. I’ll surely be back!
