Après 5 nuits passés dans cet endroit magnifique j'ai eu beaucoup de peine à le quitter.. j'ai déprimé et pleuré tellement ce lieu est parfait, c'est pour dire ! Enfaîte, si je pouvais acheter ce bien je le ferais sans hésiter une seconde 💫 Honnêtement, je suis encore choquée par cette vue à couper le souffle.. que l'on soit dans le lit, sur la terrasse, dans le bain chaud ou encore dans la piscine, c'est juste sublime, incroyable, envoûtant... Je n'ai pas assez d'adjectif pour qualifier ce lieu, tout ce que je sais, c'est que j'aimerais y retourner le plus vite possible ✨️ PS : penser a acheter de quoi faire du feu pour le barbecue et le brasero (avec des chamallow)

Really beautiful home with stunning views, absolutely loved our stay here thanks for having us. Fully equipped kitchen and the space is absolutely gorgeous throughout. Brilliant outdoor area for dining and sunbathing. Garden and pool in full sunshine whenever you want to use them but a nice shaded area for dining. Only slight disappointment was the home did not have air con as advertised (it was underfloor heating) so we were quite hot at night and struggled to sleep. The heating system was adjusted and our host provided fans for each bedroom to try and help cool the house. Overall fantastic property.

Five stars to Casa de Cardido and to Rui and Alexandra for being wonderful hosts. We were a little late checking in, but Rui greeted us with a smile and a very generous tabua of local cheeses and meats. The hosts go above anything expected, with a sound system at the pool, exercise equipment, and fresh bread delivered daily. The house is a traditional Portuguese home - and it feels like a “home” not a rental. We spent two weeks here and it felt like staying with family. I noticed that one review commented on how close the highway is. Please know this is not a problem. You can see the highway when approaching the home from the road, but you cannot hear it and it does not interfere with the experience. This is very high quality stay with caring and involved hosts that will make sure you have all you need. I highly recommend.

Vielen lieben Dank, Rita & João! Rechtzeitig zur Ankunft in Porto erhielten wir eine detaillierte Wegbeschreibung zu den Gegebenheiten vor Ort. Wir wurden äußerst freundlich im Anwesen empfangen und erhielten die Schlüssel. Das Anwesen entspricht exakt den Bildern und es mangelte uns, während des Aufenthalts in Ventosa, an nichts. Wir haben die freie Zeit sehr genossen!

Beautiful place in Porto, the view is much better than you can tell from the photos and is really quite something. communication was always easy. can only recommend to book a night here.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Nous voyageons beaucoup et l’accueil par Sonia et Ricardo est certainement parmi les meilleurs que nous ayons eus. Ils sont sympathiques, à l’écoute et très réactifs à la moindre sollicitation. Ils nous ont conseillé sur les restos et visites à faire. Le logement, situé dans un quartier résidentiel calme est très agréable, avec jardin, barbecue, hamac, transats, piscine. La plage de Cabedelo est à moins de 10 minutes à pied. C’est une très grande plage où vous pourrez pratiquer tous les sports nautiques (kite, surf, windsurf, wingsurf…) avec des centres qui louent du matériel et donnent des cours. Bref, nous recommandons et nous reviendrons !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille. Chaleureusement accueilli par Antonio qui nous a donné beaucoup de conseils et a été disponible pendant tout notre séjour pour répondre à nos questions. Nous avons adoré le charme et l’emplacement de cette maison traditionnelle. Proche de la plage et de nombreuses villes à découvrir. Si vous aimez l’authenticité, le clame et les beaux paysages allez-y sans hésitation ! Merci encore à Antonio pour sa gentillesse et sa bienveillance.

Das kleine Haus ist ein wunderbarer Urlaubsort. Es ist sehr liebevoll und gleichzeitig praktisch eingerichtet. So hat man alles, was man braucht. Die Lage direkt am Meer ist großartig. Gut ist auch, dass es einen Kamin gibt, es kann doch ungemütlich kalt sein abends. Sehr praktisch fand ich den Wintergarten, er heizt sich tagsüber auf und man kann die Wärme für das Haus nutzen. Außerdem ist er die Verbindung von Haus zum Bad - sehr gut gelöst. Wir haben auch das Barbecue häufig benutzt, zumal es im Fischladen um die Ecke fangfrischen Fisch gibt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Excelente ubicación, con vistas impresionantes en primera linea de playa. Lugar tranquilo, y con restaurantes cercanos. A poca distancia muchas localidades para poder visitar. Los anfitriones muy amables y dispuestos para recomendaciones y colaborar.

Una casa grande y hermosa. Equipada con todo lo necesario. Los niños lo pasaron genial. Grace muy agradable, acogedora y servicial. Totalmente recomendable

A wonderful stay. The house is positioned perfectly to explore the northern part of Portugal. The house is comfortable and well maintained. There is a lovely patisserie next door. Pedro was very helpful, providing details of the local area and arranged a table for us at a fish restaurant in Esposede which was lovely. We would stay here again.

Nice holiday place. Especially recommend it in summer. The swimming pool zone is equipped with sunbeds, barbecue. Nothing excess in the apartment, only things that you need for a good rest. There is a fireplace in the house.

Mário and Judite were amazing hosts! Really responsive and friendly and provided great recommendations and really easy face to face check in and out! The space was pristine and everything was thought of. Everything in the space was of great quality from the appliances to the linens. The pool area is lovely and gardens well kept, the fire pits and bbq are ready to use straight away too! I would 100% recommend this to anyone. It was such a peaceful and relaxing stay with everything we could have needed :)

Aunque la casa parece estar aislada, todos los servicios básicos —como farmacia, restaurantes, supermercados, gasolinera, panaderías, etc.— están a solo 5 minutos, lo cual es increíble. Disfrutas de la tranquilidad y privacidad del campo, pero con toda la comodidad de tener los servicios de la zona muy cerca. La casa es preciosa y acogedora. Fuimos con niños durante una semana y aprovechamos el jardín todos los días. Está muy bien equipada y la limpieza es impecable.

Мы провели время отлично,спасибо за бассейн, но некоторые нюансы немного огорчали наше пребывание. Нет стиральной машины и пылесоса. Невозможно открыть окна,потому что мешают жалюзи.Я бы рекомендовал купить жидкость от комаров.

Beautiful place to stay, central location in the region. We visited Braga and Porto and further north. Nice recommendations from João and he was always responsive with communication. Best to have a small car as the road up is steep and narrow. The house and annex are very comfortable and well equipped.

Nous étions un couple avec deux enfants et deux chiens et tout était super. Maison très agréable et très bien située. Hôte parfaite. Rien à redire sur cette maison. Merci à vous.

Das Highlight der Unterkunft ist der Ausblick von der Terrasse und dem großzügigem Wohnzimmer auf den Atlantik. Küche gut ausgestattet und gemütlich. Insgesamt ist das Haus sehr geräumig. Sehr ruhig, die Autobahn hört man gar nicht, nur das gleichmäßige Rauschen des Wassers des Mühlbaches ist zu hören. Der Vermieter ist gut und schnell erreichbar. Er hat es geschafft ein Problem der Elektrik innerhalb kürzester Zeit über einen einheimischen Elektriker zu lösen. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

We stayed a week in Ana's house and quite enjoyed it. The weather was not the best, but the house has all the comforts of home so we cooked dinner and watched Netflix while the rain was pouring down. Having a proper kitchen with a dishwasher available is great on evenings like that! On sunny and warm days, the terrace is a treat. The house is in a quiet, pleasant neighbourhood, ordinary people live around there and the folks next door have a few curious goats. There are good restaurants within walking distance, our favorite is Casa da Joana. One of the official paths passes through the same street as the house, very nice walk that takes you past the same Joana's. Perfect for lunch. You need a car. Then all the walks, Viana do Castelo, Braga, Ponte de Lima etc are within easy driving range. If you are used to the softer Scandinavian beds, you may find the queen size bed rather firm.
