The property was rebuilt from the ground up in 2017, blending original timber beams and local stone with contemporary design to offer guests a haven of peace and comfort. Enjoy panoramic views of rolling hills, spectacular Barossa sunsets, kangaroos amongst the vines and blue wrens on the lawn.

Set on 80acres in the heart of the Barossa Valley this private, self-contained guest wing is surrounded by vineyard and gardens. Our retreat gets you back to nature... with vineyard and scrub walks, (accompanied by at least one of our Border Collies), friendly geese, an inquisitive free-roaming peacock, hens, rescued & wild kangaroos, the occasional Koala and a myriad of birdlife. Take in the views from the verandas, sit by the campfire (during the cooler months) or relax in the hammock.

Built in 1860, Devitt on French B&B is a step back to the old charms of yesteryear with the modern amenities that make for the perfect escape to the Barossa Valley. Comprising two queen bedrooms, a sitting room w gas fire, separate dining area, well-appointed kitchen with coffee pod machine, 1.5 bathrooms, second separate toilet & outdoor seating area.

Drop into a winery, enjoy a balloon ride across the Barossa or just kick back enjoy the pace of life. Please note a booking for two guests will allow access to one bedroom in the house. If you require both bedrooms you must book for a minimum of three guests. All guests must be over 18.
