We highly recommend booking this appartment. It is located in the small harbour of Kaljord, ferry only passes by few times per day and you can barely hear it. The availability of the ferry makes this the perfect place to visit Lofoten. The appartment is spacious and clean and provides all the comfort one could need.

Catherine should be very proud of her “top-notch” housekeeping because of the 8 places we’ve stayed in during our trip through North Norway it was certainly the cleanest… although one other would have given it a good run for its money! Thank you and much appreciated. The self-contained ground floor apartment suited us for our short stay. It had the things we needed and we enjoyed the view from the window with glimpses of the Svolvær airstrip and the Hurtigruten passing by. Access from the E10 is extremely easy making an easy drive into Svolvær and the surrounding areas. Although had we stayed longer we would have preferred to be able to hike direct from the property, which appeared difficult.

This is a great Airbnb, you have so much space and a nice view to the fjord and the mountains. The interior is really nice chosen and you got everything you need. Anniken Elea is a really good host, gives you all the information needed. Would stay there anytime again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Gulith's. The apartment is very nice with a terrace that has a magnificent view. Gulith's brother, Arthur, gave us plenty of information and was very friendly. We were able to hike and go boating. The restaurant next door is very good. I would highly recommend it.

Nice cosy house in a quiet and peaceful village.

Thank you so much, it was again a very cute and wonderful place to stay. Everybody with me liked it a lot. Although I have no travel plans this year to Norway yet, if we have next year a work period with my team, I will definitely book this beautiful house for and with the team.

Stein-Ove and Marita are the best possible hosts, as they do their ultimate best to make sure that their guests have a phenomenal experience, in their fabulous house, in the unique environment of Lofoten. What stands out the most, from my view, is that the guests get the real experience of real life in such remote area of the world. This was my and my wife's intention, totally fulfilled beyond expectations, and we will never forget what we saw and how we felt. The house is situated in a magnificent location, between splendid mountains and coastline, and still easily accessible via a road where there is very little traffic, which ensure total peace. We felt what it means to have a family life in Lofoten, basically the experience cannot be more authentic, truly. Needless to say, the house was spotlessly clean and had all facilities to feel at home, e.g. we could use the kitchen to have a peaceful dinner overlooking the ocean. In brief, if you want the real experience, do book this house!

Really nice house, with a great view!

The house was exactly as described in the description. The facility is older, but all the devices work well. The kitchen is large and includes all the necessary utensils for cooking.

Alex is the perfect host! The house is fantastic and the surroundings are beautiful! We immediately felt comfortable and were able to leave everyday life behind us wonderfully. It's all so uncomplicated and relaxed! The communication was great and nothing was missing. Since Alex also offers excursions, he is the perfect choice for an unforgettable holiday on the Vesterålen. With his kindness, courteous and open manner, humor and stories about the country and people, he made the stay even more refined. Thank you for everything! Stay the way you are! We will be happy to come back!

Really, really liked this accommodation. It's spacious, comfortable, great view, walking distance to town, big bathroom, great washing machine (self-dosing), full kitchen, easy parking and warm. Daniel was extremely helpful regarding ferry information and quick in his responses, which was much appreciated.

Warm and cozy apartment. A beautiful location.

We spent 3 days in Anette's apartment. The apartment is very comfortable and a good base for visiting the area. We have seen a herd of reindeer in the street, and a moose in the neighborhood.

June is a fabulous hostess! We stayed here for a business trip for my husband for 7 weeks. The apartment is beautiful, large, very comfortable. We call it "The Palace". She was very flexible and was able to let us stay longer than originally planned. She even drove us to the airport on the day we left so we didn't need to rent a car for the last few days. Very gracious and gave personal attention. Thank you for the lovely stay!!

A great stay at André’s apartment which was very clean and comfortable. The walk to the apartment is about 30 minutes from town but the scenery en route is lovely so it’s ok! Very quiet and nice neighbourhood. André was very accommodating and responsive too! Would recommend to anyone :)

Terje made us feel very welcome. The photos don't do it justice, stunning surroundings. I sat for hours with a cup of tea, staring out on the spectacular scenery. Very relaxing and peaceful. We absolutely loved our time there. Perfect place for a restful, relaxing time. Also lots of opportunities to get out into Nature. We will return.

Very cozy apartment in a nice location close to the sea. Tidy and clean, so everything was tip-top. About 15/20 minute walk to the city center, so it's a nice little walk.

The house is very clean, the facilities are very new, the heating is very sufficient, the living room and kitchen are very large, although the view of the sea is blocked by a house at the door, but it does not affect the view when you step out. The location is ideal for friends who are driving.
