Kurt is a fantastic host! The apartment is comfortable and we especially appreciated the fully equipped kitchen and washing machine. The surrounding area is really beautiful and quiet, overall we had an amazing stay and we would absolutely recommend Kurt’s apartment.

Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Gastgeberehepaar. Wir haben vier traumhafte Wochen in dieser sehr schönen Unterkunft verbracht. Der Service war perfekt. Die Gastgeberin hat uns sogar mit auf Ihre Hunderunden mitgenommen. Nicht nur wir waren begeistert sondern auch unser Hund Buddy hat sich von Anfang an heimisch gefühlt und sich Tag für Tag seine Leckerchen abgeholt. Besonders wertvoll waren auch die persönlichen Ausflugstipps. Danke für einen absolut gelungenen Urlaub

We highly recommend booking this appartment. It is located in the small harbour of Kaljord, ferry only passes by few times per day and you can barely hear it. The availability of the ferry makes this the perfect place to visit Lofoten. The appartment is spacious and clean and provides all the comfort one could need.

Catherine should be very proud of her “top-notch” housekeeping because of the 8 places we’ve stayed in during our trip through North Norway it was certainly the cleanest… although one other would have given it a good run for its money! Thank you and much appreciated. The self-contained ground floor apartment suited us for our short stay. It had the things we needed and we enjoyed the view from the window with glimpses of the Svolvær airstrip and the Hurtigruten passing by. Access from the E10 is extremely easy making an easy drive into Svolvær and the surrounding areas. Although had we stayed longer we would have preferred to be able to hike direct from the property, which appeared difficult.

nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour chez Gulith. l'appartement est très agréable avec une terrasse qui a une vue magnifique. le frère de Gulith, Arthur, nous a donné plein de renseignements et était très sympathique. nous avons pu randonner et faire du bateau. le restaurant à côté est très bon. je recommande chaleureusement

Wir haben leider nur eine Nacht in der Unterkunft von Lisza verbracht, weil unsere Reise danach weiter ging. Bereits vor der Anreise erhielten wir diverse Tipps für die Gegend. Bei der Ankunft wurden wir sehr herzlich begrüsst und uns wurde alles gezeigt. Die Unterkunft war sauber und geräumig. Extra Pluspunkte gibt es für den herrlich entspannenden Whirlpool ;-).

Stein-Ove and Marita are the best possible hosts, as they do their ultimate best to make sure that their guests have a phenomenal experience, in their fabulous house, in the unique environment of Lofoten. What stands out the most, from my view, is that the guests get the real experience of real life in such remote area of the world. This was my and my wife's intention, totally fulfilled beyond expectations, and we will never forget what we saw and how we felt. The house is situated in a magnificent location, between splendid mountains and coastline, and still easily accessible via a road where there is very little traffic, which ensure total peace. We felt what it means to have a family life in Lofoten, basically the experience cannot be more authentic, truly. Needless to say, the house was spotlessly clean and had all facilities to feel at home, e.g. we could use the kitchen to have a peaceful dinner overlooking the ocean. In brief, if you want the real experience, do book this house!

Jan Sverre und seine Frau sind äusserst freundliche, humorvolle Leute. Die Unterkunft entspricht voll und ganz der Beschreibung. Befindet sich in sehr ländlicher Gegend, direkt an einem Fjord. Zur nächsten Einkaufsmöglichkeit sind es ca. 5-7 Autominuten. Nach Sortland benötigt man ca. 20 Autominuten.

The cottage is cozy, peaceful, and set in a beautiful location, and Benthe was so kind and helpful. Wish I could have stayed more days! Highly recommended.

Das Haus war genau wie in der Beschreibung beschrieben wurde. Die Einrichtung ist älter aber alle Geräte funktionieren gut. Die Küche ist groß und beinhaltet alle notwendigen Utensilien um zu kochen.

Within ~1 year, this place got 20 five-star reviews. The only reason it hasn't crossed 50 is: Sortland is less popular than mainland Lofoten. The place is not only handled with, but also designed with utmost care. Originally built in 1934, every corner of it carries a meaning that not even an unwatchful guest can ignore. There is family heritage, and there is just the right amount of it. That's where the comfort begins. Living room is smaller than its photos. But with modern furniture & a smart TV, you never run out of indulgence. Kitchen & barbecue hut are well-equipped with utensils and tools for all types of cooking. Bedrooms are comfy, and just right for the cosy cuddles. The grassy, lush outside with a private beach is kept free of bugs by hosts. You can't get enough of the hot tub under starry/green sky! The best part is the proactive hosts who promply fulfill all unmet needs. The house, with all its warmth, keeps luring you. A tough fight against luscious Lofoten!

Hanne & her family were really amazing hosts! This stay was the best we had in our entire Scandi trip, for what’s it worth, the beautiful location and having it as our little home base while exploring all of Lofoten was amazing. We also appreciate the chocolate treat they gave us & making our check-in seamless and smooth. We would 100% be back here next time for our visit to Lofoten!

Wij zijn 3 dagen in het appartement van Anette geweest. Het appartement is erg comfortabel en een goede uitvalsbasis voor het bezichtigen van de omgeving. In de straat hebben wij een kudde rendieren gezien, in de wijk een Eland.

A great stay at André’s apartment which was very clean and comfortable. The walk to the apartment is about 30 minutes from town but the scenery en route is lovely so it’s ok! Very quiet and nice neighbourhood. André was very accommodating and responsive too! Would recommend to anyone :)

Le logement est très spacieux et tellement propre. Il est idéalement situé à proximité du centre, de commodités tout en étant dans un quartier résidentiel très calme. Les services proposés sont de très bonnes qualités mais surtout Trine est proactive, elle vous contacte très rapidement et est à vos petits soins. Merci beaucoup de nous avoir accueilli chez vous, nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Nous recommandons chaudement.

Terje made us feel very welcome. The photos don't do it justice, stunning surroundings. I sat for hours with a cup of tea, staring out on the spectacular scenery. Very relaxing and peaceful. We absolutely loved our time there. Perfect place for a restful, relaxing time. Also lots of opportunities to get out into Nature. We will return.

Veldig koselig leilighet med en fin beliggenhet nær havet. Ryddig og rent, så alt var tipp topp. Ca. 15/20 minutters gange til sentrum, så det er en fin liten spasertur.

Meget velutstyrt leilighet, ingenting manglet. Det var usedvanlig rent og ryddig. Leiligheta har god plass, og er veldig koselig. Beliggenheta passet fint for oss som skulle sykle rundt på Andøya. Vi kommer gjerne igjen. Denne leiligheten kan anbefales.
