Renovated and comfortable. 2 beautiful bedrooms (very comfortable bedding), equipped kitchen, fridge-freezer, washing machine and dryer, TV, independent entrance with a code. Strategic location between Dinant, Namur, Maredsous, the Ardennes. Visits, reading or nature activities: cycling, hiking, fishing, caving, kayaking, paragliding, etc. Perfect for remote work. Picnic in our garden on the banks of the Meuse.

Paul's place

This flat is close to public transport and within easy walking distance of the town centre. The street outside is extremely quiet, and this apartment is at the rear of the main building, thus ensuring a truly peaceful stay for our guests. It is ideally oriented towards the southwest, capturing maximum sun, late morning to late evening. It is great for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. Please note, Wellness is not included in the price. The “Charmes du Velupont” cottage is located in the picturesque village of Avennes in the heart of the Hesbaye region. This area is known for its rich vegetation and for its cultural and historical heritage. The cottage is overlooking the Mehaigne river, which is part of a protected nature reserve. “Charmes du Velupont” is a real heaven of peace with a stunning view on this silent valley.

Although ANIMAL-friendly, we do NOT allow them inside the cottage. We also want this cottage to remain a NON-SMOKING space.

Spoorweghut 'Miners' Accommodation'

Next to the Racour station is the cottage of the piocheurs or railway workers. In the past, railway workers used this "barracks" to store their equipment, to eat their sandwiches or even to sleep. The 3-meter by 3-meter listed building was completely rebuilt in 2015 in wooden timber and masonry. It is now furnished as a comfortable hiker's hut for 2 people. Free bicycles are available to our guests!
