The house was perfect! The jacuzzi, the view outside at the fjord and it was so cosy inside. Everything you need was in the kitchen. Outside there was a good bbq. We loved everything! Remi answered immediately when we had a question. It was wonderful to hear the waves from the sea, we had an absolutely relaxing week!

This house was a wonderful place for a cozy autumn getaway. The location was perfect: only ~15min away from groceries and gas, yet still remote, peaceful, quiet, and beautiful. Torfinn was very responsive to all messages.

We spent a comfortable week at Sonja's cottage. It is located close to many hiking routes as well as necessary shops and other amenities. We throughly enjoyed the views from the cabin and our dog loved the yard and the spacey land next to it. All in all, a very pleasant stay!

We spent three wonderful days on Skogsøya. The house, although not traditional in style, was superbly positioned overlooking the sea and the neighbouring islands. The huge picture windows give an ever changing view that in real life are much better than the photos. We walked the coast road and several of the footpaths some of which climb hills behind the house and offer views over Vesterålen. You can hike to the north coast, but it gets very boggy beyond the big lake. Check the ferry timetable before travelling and if you arrive on a Sunday remember to do your shopping the day before! We would wholeheartedly recommend staying in Anders place on this magical island.

Super cute little house in a marvelous environment. We spent 3 lovely days at Mette’s place and enjoyed every moment. The place is really nice with all equipment and convenience to make you feel like home. The area is remote, quiet and offers plenty of opportunities for a nice walk. Mette is responsive and very friendly in her communication.

Lisbeth is a wonderful host. Warm and welcoming, and she was helpful in guiding me on my cycling route. The breakfast was delicious and customized for my tastes. The setting is great, for either sitting on the porch or hiking up a mountain.

The cottage is cozy, peaceful, and set in a beautiful location, and Benthe was so kind and helpful. Wish I could have stayed more days! Highly recommended.

Beautiful and large cabin overlooking the tiny harbour of Skrolsvik. Keep in mind that this is a remote location at the southwestern tip of Senja island (around 65km to Finnsnes and 18km to the next supermarket) - if you are looking for a quiet place, this should be perfect. We very much enjoyed our stay here. Andreas was very kind and always answered promptly to the few questions we had. When there was an issue with the warm water supply, he managed to get it fixed on the long Pentecost weekend. Really excellent! For activities nearby, there are a few options: visit the Gammelbutikken in Skrolsvik (opens in June); walk up Sjursviktinden (837m with great views); take the boat to Harstad (3x a week); take a dip in the sea at the small beach below Skrolsvik Fort; enjoy delicious fish soup at Hyttekroa (40 minutes drive). If the weather makes outdoor activities difficult, you can always enjoy the view through the panoramic windows across the fjord to the mountains of Grytøya island.

A very peaceful and idyllic fishing village. The village itself is quite small and the nearest store is 20 km away, which is worth taking into account. The island of Senjan is full of wonderful places, which are a short drive away. In Skrolsvik, there is an old military station/base built by the Nazis, which is indeed a place worth seeing, and hiking trails to the nearby mountains start just a few kilometers from the accommodation. The host of the accommodation is very friendly and responded quickly to questions. The property is very large and spacious. Beds were found for a total of 10 people in four different bedrooms. Strong recommendation for the destination!

Great house in a fantastic environment with a breathtaking view - even in the rain. The house is modernly decorated and equipped with everything you need. Highly recommended!

We were in transit in Norway. It was a very pleasant home where we stayed with our family. It's nice to explore the area from there. Unfortunately, we were unlucky with the weather and could not do the whale Safari at sea due to too much wind. But then we have to come back again. 😉

We had a wonderful stay. The house is like a private Naturobservatorium! The welcome and care by Ann Karin was incredibly warm and the house very comfortable. Nature is unique.

Great place with a great host. We arrived very late but the keys had been left for us in an envelope to make it easy. The place is very nice and clean, spacious and close to the water front.
