Casa Furie: Rustic Retreat with Jacuzzi and Nature

EmilyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This is a stunning place secluded away from anything nearby. Great for a retreat to be restful, listen to nature and admire the beautiful horses. Cheila was an incredible host, super responsive to any questions or comments and gave us some beautiful lemons from her tree. The house is really well throughout and all amenities are included. Thank you so much for a beautiful stay. ❤️

Rustic Bungalow

CharlieRating, 5 stars3 days ago
After 5 nights spent in this beautiful place I had a hard time leaving it... I got depressed and cried so much this place is perfect, that's to say! In fact, if I could buy this property, I would do it without hesitation 💫 Honestly, I'm still shocked by this breathtaking view... whether you're in bed, on the terrace, in the hot bath or in the pool, it's just sublime, incredible, bewitching... I don't have enough adjectives to describe this place, all I know is that I would like to go back as soon as possible ✨️ PS: remember to buy something to make a fire for the barbecue and the brazier (with marshmallows)

Had a perfect couple of days staying here. Was pristinely clean when we arrived and looked even better than the pictures. Such a peaceful location and the surroundings were amazing. Had a lovely time using the pool and the sauna. The projector screen was great for in the evenings. Would definitely come again Thankyou :)

Experience Douro's beauty, 3BR, 2BA scenic villa

NicholasRating, 5 stars1 week ago
On our trip to Portugal, the Douro Valley was the highlight of the trip from the storybook views to the spread of freshly picked cherries, homemade preserves and wine awaiting our arrival to the cleanliness and comforts of a beautiful home perched high up on the vineyard terraced hills. The game room was an incredible surprise - there are seven eighties arcade games along with a ping pong table, a foosball table and an infinity game with over 150 board games built into the table. The hospitality was second to none. Gabrella, the property manager, was one step ahead of us ensuring that we had everything we needed to make our stays one of the most memorable. Sephi, the owner, is one of the most generous people we have ever met. His passion for region and willingness to offer his time to you is amazing. We spent one morning touring his winery, learning the old way of making wine and enjoying the fruits of his labor – an extraordinary experience not a just another Air BnB.

What an incredible place the house is located in. views are exceptional and the valley is so peaceful. Sitting out in the evening as dusk falls the total silence is a sensory experience. Spent a week here and loved every minute of it.

Cascata Studio

A great place to forget everyday life. A modern house on old foundations, the stream flows underneath, you can see it through the glass bottom cutout in the floor. The rushing waterfall is omnipresent, also visible through the large panoramic windows. If you are sure of your footing, you can climb into the river above the waterfall (watch out for a few thorny branches here and there) and swim against the current until the fresh temperature forces you to turn back. But you can also cool off in the fresh pool at any time. The Internet is also very relaxing, so you can get back to reading books and forget the world outside. The neighboring village of Taide can be hiked in a good 30 minutes. The restaurant "Tasquinha do Povo" was an experience, loving hospitality, delicious sardines, fresh homemade flatbread and then seduced by the locals at the neighboring table to a local wine. It was a great experience for us all around.

Flawless apartment. The apartment was beautiful, spacious and very clean. It had everything you need to feel at home. Under the apartment there is a cafeteria where to have breakfast or take something to eat that was all very good.

Springfield Lodge

MonikaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Secluded little hut with views of a meadow. Looks exactly as the photos, very clean and has everything you need for a few nights away. Super easy access to Porto via a train 5 minutes away (although we found the ticket machines only accepted cash). A big supermarket is about a 15-minute walk away. Bonus for the projector and the friendliest dog who comes to visit and hang out sometimes! Would absolutely recommend
