Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Ammoudi

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here! It was walkable to the downtown area and harbour, but also quiet at night and not too busy. It was an easy ride from the airport and the location is also very close to the highway so it’s easy to head to the beach or other towns! Also good local bakeries and gyros in the area! :)

The landlord was lovely!! The apartment looks exactly like the pictures and is even bigger. Perfect location meters from the sea and a small shopping center near. We landed early and wanted to put the bags in the apartment and the landlord allowed it with great joy and kindness. Highly recommend!! Thank you so much for the amazing stay!

The apartment is super well equipped, everything is brand new and exactly as in the pictures. We especially loved the location - close to anywhere you want to go but still in a quiet residential street. No bars or noisy tourists on that street. The hosts were super responsive and helpful. Highly recommended!

Our stay at Katerina’s place was nothing short of perfect! She is a great host, very kind and helpful, the place is stunning, with a beautiful view of the sea and walking distance to the beach. I had a great stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and just as described. Communication with the host was smooth and check-in was easy. The location was convenient and perfect for exploring the area. Everything went really well overall—just a heads up that Saturday night was a bit loud due to nearby activity, but otherwise, it was a great experience. Would definitely recommend!

Truly one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in! Immaculately clean, incredibly comfortable, and super convenient. The elevator made it so easy to get our bags upstairs. The washer and dryer were total lifesavers, and the bed was unbelievably cozy. The AC worked perfectly, and the bathroom was spacious and modern. Overall, I absolutely loved this place! Such a lovely stay!!!! Mareike and Georgios was extremely helpful they organised a taxi for me and picked up in the little village since my husband was coming later with our car. The place was very peaceful and private. I thought there would be a restaurant but honestly it’s a good thing on the location there isn’t one because it made it very peaceful that a restaurant was not next door. Georgios even organised a BBQ for us which was a highlight that we could just BBQ at home. They were extremely helpful and provided us with loads of local recommendations. I would come back any day!!!!!

Pasiphae House was something out of a dream! It was beautifully designed in the traditional Crete Village homes style. The location is isolate in the mountains, but amongst a great community of people. We were greeted by Yianna and Koula that gave us the walk through of the house, and we're always in constant communication. Ioanna supplied us with a long list of things to do and try in the area which we took full advantage of. Overall it was a beautiful stay and would highly recommend.

We had a great week at this house at the sea. Our boys loved it. We will come back.

Lovely place, quiet, clean. Nikos and his family are taking care of their hosts. The only downside is that there is no washing machine.

We had a super time with Stefani and Antonis. The villa is super, the pool was warm, the area quiet, and the view down to Herssonios and out right to the mountains was lovely. We chose it because it was walking distance to some shops and restaurants. The village is lovely and a short 5-10min walk from the villa. We were at the very end of the season, so many of the restaurants in the village closed, but we always found somewhere to eat. Herssonios is a longer walk away (maybe 30 mins) and has supermarkets, pharmacies, and restaurants galore, even after the season ended. We found the walk downhill to the town, and back uphill to the village fine, even with 2 kids. Herssonios itself didn’t hold much charm for us, but we found a taxi to Agios Nikolas (delightful), Heraklion’s museum (more engaging for us than the Athens archeological museum), and Rethimno (lovely old town, laneway cafes, long stretch of beach) filled enough of our days. And with a heated pool to return to, no complaints.

A gem and a beautiful retreat in southern Crete. The villa has everything your heart desires, a beautiful view, pool and a modern kitchen that makes every heart of a hobby cook beat faster. I will miss the morning and evening bath in the pool with the view. Since it has almost no light pollution, you can see a starry sky and the Milky Way with the naked eye. Secluded beaches are easily accessible by car within 30 minutes, so a car is highly recommended. Doesn't have to be an SUV. Sam is available at any time and communicates very quickly. Furthermore, he or Lefteris are always available with tips and advice. Sam and Anel are more than super hosts and I can recommend their villa villa 200%.

This place completely exceeded our expectations! It’s absolutely stunning, with a breathtaking, priceless view that made our stay unforgettable. The hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way to make sure we felt comfortable and accommodated. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience — highly recommended!

We loved our time here. Recently renovated with care, the house strikes a balance between modern comfort and historic charm. It’s spacious, thoughtfully designed, and finished to a high standard. Located in the quaint village of Gerani, about a 10 minute drive from Rethymno, we genuinely appreciated being outside the city and immersed in the village atmosphere. Gerani has everything you need — a supermarket, great bakeries, and a few solid restaurants — our favourite being Maxis. The village also has easy access to the highway, which made it a perfect base for day trips to beaches and nearby towns, all while skipping the congestion of Rethymno. Damnoni and Kalypso beaches on the southern coast were a highlight. We found everyone we communicated with very nice and easy to deal with. Worth the stay!

Absolutely Wonderful Stay! We had an amazing time at this beautiful and pristine place. Everything was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, and the location is perfect , just a short walk to the city center. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. Michalis our host was very responsive and always available whenever we needed anything. We arrived quite late so didn’t manage to meet our hosts but they had organized for us snacks on arrival and beverages but the local raki they had for us ready and chilled stood out. The land lady Efi even made us traditional Loukoumades, which were absolutely delicious! It’s those thoughtful touches that made our stay truly memorable. Highly recommended , we would definitely come back!

Katrina’s place was very well designed with a flair of modern touches and elegant finishes. we loved how every area was functional - including the patio. Inside, the bedrooms were well designed and had comfortable beds. Kitchen was stocked with coffee pods and other basics. It also had filter water. overall our stay was very short and we could not enjoy all the amenities, we were hoping we had stayed longer.

Iannis and his mother welcomed us kindly and gave us fruit and vegetables. Olive oil was also available. The location was good for exploring the great bay around the Lasithi area by car. We would definitely come back.

Maria is a wonderful host. I enjoyed her place, the area and the culture of Crete. I will definitely be coming back.

The apartment was booked for my father, and the landlord was very enthusiastic and waited in the apartment in advance, and took my father to introduce the room and the surrounding area for more than half an hour. In the case of language barriers, the communication through translation software was very good. My father was very happy and asked me to convey his gratitude. I recommend it to all friends who go there!

Despite the not very central location and the stairs to get to the apartment, our stay in Akalli was perfect. The apartment has lots of space, 2 large balconies with a table to have breakfast comfortably, lots of amenities, more than you can imagine, including a sewing kit that was really useful. The city center can be reached with a pleasant walk along the seafront or with a shortcut through streets with many shops. Near the apartment there is a large supermarket. Eleni was a magnificent host always present and a source of useful suggestions. Ultimately we really enjoyed our stay in her airbnb and we highly recommend it.

Place was pristine,great bathrooms with lots of hot water. In a quiet neighborhood.Our host helped us get transportation to the ferry.Would definitely stay again!!
