Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Ames

Garrett and Tiffani made their place feel like home. Perfect layout for our large family. Lots of fun things for our kids of every age to do. Plenty of space as well. The location was perfect. Quiet neighborhood but walking distance to parks and food. The hosts quickly responded to any inquiries and were great at overall information regarding the rental. We would definitely stay here again. My littles loved the red house. 100% recommend the house and hosts.

We had a great stay! The house was exactly as described. We had plenty of room for our large family and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the game room and the air hockey table. We will stay again next time we’re in the area!

This stay was everything. Felt just like walking into my own home. Very nice set up. Was there this p past weekend for a basketball tournament and all gyms were 20 or less from the home. Everything went well, no issues at all.

Hands down, would stay at Dawn's place again! The home was warm and welcoming, spacious, and thoughtfully decorated. Even though the home is situated on a busy street in Ames, it was very quiet. The beds are super comfy, and you can easily find everything you need in the kitchen! And for those coming into town for major events, this home is conveniently situated very close to the stadium, campus, and major performance centers. Look no further than here for your stay!

Good location, easy walk to Campustown area of Ames. The house worked well for a group of 6 during a weekend reunion. Would stay there again. Host was responsive and communicative.

It was exactly what we needed... we hosted extended family from New York, Texas and Taiwan... while still being close to us so we could all spend time together.

This was a charming place to stay. My family enjoyed going out to look at the horses and donkeys.

Great little apartment for two adults and a small child ,with fantastic property amenities and location. Would definitely stay again.

The apartment we rented from Midwest Hospitality was close to everything we needed in West Des Moines, it’s extremely spacious and was perfect for a long weekend with my family.

This was a great place to stay and plenty of things to do in the surrounding area. Very nice accommodations, I wish we would have shopped a little more for basic cooking items though as the kitchen was not stocked. Would definitely stay here again for the price it was very nice for the four of us.

Staying with Susie is now a yearly trip for us. She is an amazing host and you cannot beat the charm of the town. My daughter looks forward to this stay more than any other we take. Can’t recommend staying here enough.

The place was conveniently located, very good size, and the price seemed reasonable. It did indicate that the evenings were loud with a bar/restaurant across the street, but we knew that going into it. We were very pleased with our stay. Thank you so very much.

Beautiful and comfortable home! This house is a delight with lots of charming details and amenities. The house offers plenty of square footage with multi-use rooms and spaces throughout. The pool was beautiful, clean, and so much fun. We were in town to visit our son for his college graduation from Drake University. This home made the weekend even better for our family to celebrate the occasion. The location is close to everything and the neighborhood is historic and beautiful. We would highly recommend this home to anyone staying in the Des Moines area.

We spent the weekend checking out ISU and the area. Jolita's place is very conveniently located on a main (but not particularly busy) road, making it easy for us to get anywhere we chose. The home is quaint and cozy, and suited us perfectly :) We look forward to checking out the neighborhood more when the weather warms up.

We were only there one night but our family was very comfortable. Love the big living room!

This place has always been wonderful, it's very quiet and peaceful. We had a wonderful time with our family and hope to visit again soon.

The place is very convenient for our needs. It is spacious, well-furnished, and equipped with many of the necessities one would need. It's extra nice to have access to a garage to store our trikes.

We chose GG's Cabin for our post-wedding getaway and absolutely loved it. We enjoyed the quaint, clean cabin. On our visit we were able to relax and enjoy the wildlife! A fox, deer, squirrels, and plenty of song birds! 10/10 are comming back!

We loved staying here! It’s actually much bigger than it appears in the photos. Roomy bedrooms, comfortable beds, lots of space to spread out and a beautiful backyard! Thanks again!
