On the outskirts of the city but so quiet in the middle of the meadows, you are most welcome in our AirBNB on the quay... From the window of the upper floor of the renovated barn, which is located next to our farm, you have a view of the Cabauwse mill, and if you are lucky the stork will be brooding across the street. Aan de Kaai is in (Cabauw/Lopik) on the border of the province of Utrecht and Zuid Holland. In the middle of the Groene Hart of the Utrecht Waarden and the Krimpenerwaard.

Our spacious studio of approximately 43 m² is located on the edge of the beautiful town of Oudewater and in the middle of the peat meadow area of the green heart. The studio is a lovely space to relax for a weekend and enjoy nature but also a nice place to stay longer and discover the surrounding cities. The studio includes 2 bicycles with which you can reach the supermarket in 2 minutes and stand in about 5 minutes in the picturesque center of Oudewater with delicious restaurants.

Huisje Amelisweerd is a calm, stylish guest house ideally situated for a city trip, nature getaway, or both! At less than 4 km away, the stunning old city center of Utrecht is readily accessible. Lunetten train station is also conveniently located within 1.6 km. Nestled between the twin forests of Amelisweerd and Nieuw Wulven, it affords excellent opportunities for hiking, running, boating, or cycling through the vast network of trails and nature. Along meadows with knot willow you drive into a cozy village. At the church, take a dead end road. Soon you will reach a black cottage surrounded by greenery; our guesthouse "De Hooischuur". Even when entering the detached cottage, it immediately feels like coming home. And that's exactly the feeling we want to give you. Our characteristic hay barn in 2018 is equipped with many comforts and gives you the opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

This beautiful cottage used to be a 100-year-old wagon barn, of which old beams have remained in sight as much as possible. The cottage is in the yard of our 400-year-old monumental stool farmhouse, where we live with our sheep, chickens and dog. The cottage features a private outdoor seating area. Opposite the farm are the floodplains of the river Lek with the many nice little beaches. And a stone's throw away is the cozy silver town of Schoonhoven.

Rural apartment

Make yourself at home in our cosy apartment in the middle of rural Nieuwland. A beautiful view of the polder and over 'de Vliet'. It is a good base for cycling along the Linge or a day of fishing at one of the many fishing spots nearby. Of course you can also just 'stay at home' because the apartment has everything for a relaxing stay. The apartment is nicely furnished and equipped with every modern comfort.

Close to Gouda (15min), Rotterdam (30min), Utrecht (40min), The Hague (40min), Kinderdijk (40min) and Keukenhof (55min) you find ‘Huize Tussenberg’. ‘Huize Tussenberg’ is situated in a typical Dutch nature area with windmills, cows, cheese and farms. ‘Huize Tussenberg’ is ideally located for touring the Netherlands or going to Amsterdam (1hr) by car or by public transport.

Unique town home in historical fortress

Unique townhouse in the fortress, part of the Dutch Waterline and Unesco heritage. Close to Loevestein Castle, Gorinchem, and Fort Vuren. Originally built in 1778 as a fortified farmhouse and completely rebuilt as a mayor's house around 1980. Open plan living room with mezzanine and fireplace. Washing machine and freezer available in the house.
