Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Amble

We had a great few days in Blyth. The house was very clean, comfortable and attractive, with everything we needed and more. The welcome pack of food and drink on arrival was well received - thank you! It was nice to be able to walk to the beach and a good fish and chip restaurant. Plenty do see and do just a short drive away. Communications from Gary were clear and helpful, and he gave lots of local recommendations. Can’t fault anything!

Had an amazing stay at Seaview. Property was so clean and well laid out. Nice modern kitchen and shower room. Great garden for us and the dogs and the views are stunning. Such a great base and within a few seconds walk of the 2 best pubs in the village along with all the local shops so close by. Would strongly recommend John’s house. We had a fantastic time.

A very comfortable apartment in a brilliant setting, ideal for a week away. The view from the bedroom was amazing. Loads of walks nearby, Cragside a couple of miles away. Andy and Lyd were friendly and helpful and the provision of bird seed to feed our feathered visitors was a very nice touch. We'd definitely stay here again.

We had such a lovely stay with our 2 young kids 😊 they loved the pirate themed bedroom and slept so well on the bunkbeds. The beach is only a 2 minute walk away and was so quiet and clean. There's a lovely cafe on the beach too that does great food. Our kids were quite happy just going to the beach I'm Newbiggin each day but it's also well located to get to Tynemouth, Druridge bay, Alnwick etc. We loved it

We loved our stay at Signal House. House is absolutely beautiful. It’s in such a lovely location with fantastic views along the coastline. Easy to walk into Amble or along coastal path in both directions. House amazing, spotlessly clean. We hope to come back some time. Thankyou Tracey for a great stay x

Great house in lovely location. host very helpful over messaging. No local shops but easy to get to in car. 3 min walk to the beach loads of places to visit Great local club a the back for a drink

Billy and his wife were very welcoming. We had a cake baked for us and the apartment was very clean and homely.

We stayed 2 nights using the flat as a base for hiking. It was perfect for our needs. We used the pull out bed in the living room( as well as main bed) and it was comfortable. Lovely bathroom. We were able to walk the few minutes to the town centre. Would recommend and would use again.

An absolutely beautiful accommodation, comfortable & large in a glorious setting. Zoe is so friendly, unassuming & helpful. Encouraged us to wander around her lovely garden, the very old courtyard & surroundings. Her dogs & cats add to the pleasant home stay atmosphere. The breakfast supplies, tea & coffee were very generous. Zoe booked us into a nearby pub for dinner which was a good idea as they can be very busy. There are a number of things to see in nearby towns. We would have loved to have stayed for much longer & will definitely return to Zoe’s if we ever get back to the UK.

We had a lovely stay at Will & Dawn’s place. They’re very friendly and helpful in providing all the instructions and information we needed ahead of our trip. Our children love playing (and feeding!) their rabbits & hamsters and the indoor heated swimming pool was simply a bonus to have when it’s raining outside. The place was very cosy & clean and it’s a great location to explore Northumberland!

We had a lovely, comfortable stay here. The place was spotless, cosy and had everything we needed. Easy 30 minute walk to the city centre if you're able, or 10 minutes in an uber which cost us around £5.50. Lots of local amenities too; shops, eateries etc. Lovely friendly hosts, very responsive to messages. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again! Thank you 🙂

Another very pleasant stay at Keith and Carole's apartment . We travelled by bus and found the central location perfect for exploring Alnwick itself and bus routes both north and south along the coast.

Had a fantastic stay at Lynnes beautiful Airbnb. Fantastic hosts who have transformed part of their home into a little private sanctuary. Great location for easy access into Newcastle and surrounding areas using the metro which is a 5/10 minute walk from the door.

The Apartment was well situated, very close to the shops, restaurants and the local amenities. It was a very easy stroll to the beautiful beach and for those inclined a very enjoyable amble towards Walkworth. Upon arrival there was Prosecco and milk in the fridge and everywhere looked very clean and tidy. The communication was easy as was the access and there were no worries regarding parking as a space was provided. I would have no hesitation in recommending this place to other people - I have no doubt we’ll come back here again.

This a beautiful flat in a lovely area and is great value for money. The flat was spotlessly clean with a much appreciated welcome pack not to mention lots of teas and coffee pods too. Very quiet and peaceful at night. Lots of glorious coastline to walk right from the front door. I definitely want to come back for longer next time!

Had a lovely few days here with my family. It's a beautiful quirky apartment in a lovely location. The host provided us with lots of information and recommendations regarding the local area. We really enjoyed our stay here.

A beautiful downstairs apartment, fitted out with everything we needed. In a great location so close to Almwick centre but in a so quiet neibourhood. Parking in the street is a bit limited but we always managed either on the free carpark or just outside of the residents zone. Host Linda was easy to contact and responsive even though really we had no issues. All in all, first class accommodation and we have no hesitation in recommending Hotspur House as a great place to stay.

We had the most wonderful memorable stay at Leaholme cottages. Lynn was an amazing host, nothing was too much trouble and she went above and beyond helping with our requests for extras in the cottage . We were so grateful to check in early too. The cottage is beautiful, tastefully decorated but so welcoming, spotless and homely. Location was fantastic, we would recommend this beautiful pad to all our friends and family and will definitely be back, we thoroughy recommend. Thank you Lynn

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at John’s flat in Alnwick. It was clean, quiet, comfortable, and well-equipped. John’s instructions on use of the house were extremely clear and thorough. Parking was very convenient and free. It was a very short walk to downtown Alnwick. I will add that out of the dozens of AirBnBs and other short term rental properties we have stayed at, this one ranks very close to the top. We will definitely seek it out during future visits to the Northumberland area.

Fab stay at Diane's place. Lovely apartment equipped with everything you could need for a holiday. Loved the location which is peaceful and close to the beach and nature, yet also a great base for exploring.

Jen was very friendly and her place was absolutely lovely. We had privacy and the area was very peaceful and quiet. Jen had a file with recommended restaurants and us being new to the place found it very easy to stay in the area. would definitely recommend Jen's place to everyone. Thank you, Jen!

From start to finish I felt really at home at Lisa's place. I know there are comments from Lisa about the location, but actually I found it straightforward to commute into Newcastle city centre on public transport (a bus stop across the street and other options within a 10 minute walk). Even better by car as the motorway is nearby. I found that Lisa had made every effort to make me feel welcome and it was the additional things like providing shower gel, shampoo etc... and milk & bottled water in the fridge was a really nice touch. I would love to stay at Lisa's place again. Thank you.
