Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Amarante

The place has a very beautiful location with nice cultural landscape near a river. The house is architect-designed and with a unique expression. The hosts welcomed in a pleasant and efficient way. The home was homey! What can be improved is that some of the furniture in the house appears worn. You can also get an impression in the listing that there is one large pool. The pool is quite small and mostly for kids really. But all in all we are happy!

It was a stay for a group for a wedding. The house was impeccable, from the housekeeping, the amenities and even the smell. It was very nice, from the time of check in to the exit. João always attentive and ensured the best experience. We certainly recommend and will be back. Thanks for everything.

This large house is ideal if you want to be in the countryside while being 45 minutes from Porto, Braga and 30 minutes from Guimaraes. very well equipped, impeccable and warm in-person welcome, hosts who respond quickly in case of need. There is the small grocery store and the bistro 3 minutes walk. very convenient. Loved our stay!

Perfect reception from Miquelina and Eduardo. The house is beautiful. The arrival raises doubts because the road is tight. But Miquelina answers all questions in real time! I highly recommend it. It's perfect!

It was an amazing weekend. We felt at home. We enjoyed the cold nights by the fireplace and with family games. Our pet was super happy with the green areas. Clean and comfortable linens. In addition to excellent communication with the host, always available and polite.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was very cozy and had everything we needed. The area is quiet with a beautiful view, perfect for walking into the village and enjoying nature. Nearby, there is a lovely town called Amarante (about 20 minutes away), and from there you can take a Flixbus to Porto, which takes around 45 minutes and is also quite affordable. A big thank you to the cousin of the hosts, he took great care of us and was always there to help when we needed anything. That was very kind and made us feel welcome. We even received a small gift when we left, which was really thoughtful and sweet! We stayed for a month and felt very comfortable and safe the whole time. It was a great experience, and we would love to come back again!

Goncalo's place is well located in the city,small shops and historical monuments nearby , with free parking. (very interesting). Goncalo is very responsive, pleasant communication. Great stay , the apartment corresponds to the photographs, having exceeded expectations. Very well equipped kitchen and good rooms . Calm location to be in family and very good for those with children. Good location, with good restaurants nearby. Very friendly host. I recommend the accommodation and will book again when you visit this area of the country again.

Beautiful location, great bars, restaurants all within walking distance. You can walk to the church and the old bridge. Lovely river walks on both sides of the river with an easy walkway easily marked. Parking is free, near the residence. Walk up to the 3rd floor is manageable. Washing machine with detergent. The shower has nice pressure, and the beds are "firm" European style. The views are spectacular.

We stayed in Fernanda's apartment for four nights. The apartment has wonderful views of Amarante. The driveway is a little steep and narrow but it's worth navigating to stay in a compact but clean, comfortable and well designed modern apartment within walking distance of the town. Fernanda was a friendly and helpful host and we enjoyed our stay in beautiful Amarante. We highly recommend the apartment and would definitely stay there again.

We had a nice stay and a great sleep with our 2 kids. We stayed for one night and it was a perfect stop in our travel through Portugal. Thank you Paulo.

Mrs. Arminda was an excellent host! She explained everything in great detail, always helpful and attentive. The place is family-friendly. The dog Maia, the house mascot, is always ready to receive pampering and keep you company by the pool. I'll definitely be back!

Very nice! Highly recommended. The house is huge, silent and private. Parking is great. Host is fantastic.

I highly recommend Maria as a host. His daughter welcomed me very well, explained everything and showed me the common or private rooms in the apartment for me because I had my room and my bathroom/wc . The apartment is on the 6th floor but it's very quiet.

Charming apartment in the center, close to cultural and historically significant places. Ana was a great host, welcoming and easy to communicate with, with tips and directions about the neighborhood. Close to some grocery stores and there are different restaurants and small cafes nearby. It's worth it and I'll definitely stay here the next time I visit.

Excellent, clean, and modern apartment! It had everything one could need, including a stocked kitchen with great coffee, a nice shower, and air conditioning. The bed was comfortable and the place overall was peaceful, which made it easy to rest. Parking was easily accessible at a nearby garage. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
