Villa Tanita great Weather could be better

We had a great stay in this beautiful little cottage - perfect for a holiday as a couple. The pool is very large and we liked the different seating options on the large property very much (sun loungers, table, chill-out by the pool). The garden is very large and still has a lot of room for further design. In addition, the contact was smooth and we were even able to drop off the suitcases at the accommodation before check-in. The only thing to note is the direct proximity to the sky diving school - small planes take off from time to time during the day, but they did not cause much disturbance. We recommend this place!

The house was the perfect location for my friend's bachelor party! The house itself was beautiful, great view of the ocean and golf course from the roof, and the pool and hot tub complete the experience. One of the beds did not have sheets or pillow cases on arrival, but otherwise it was a very pleasant experience!

We were 12 people who came together (ranging from 3- 89 years old), from across the globe and we all had a wonderful stay. It was perfect. The areas (inside and out) were large enough for us to gather together as a group, and the house was spacious enough that people could retreat to their room or area should they want to break away for some alone time. We cooked big dinners, spent hours in the pool, and played games at night. The grounds were private, filled with beautiful bougainvillea, geraniums, and hibiscus plants. There is plenty of sun and shade (outside) and ACs in the bedrooms. I would say the pictures don't do the home justice. The rooms are larger in person. The hosts were readily available to help with finding things in the home or with recommendations for things to do in the area.

Perfect place in the most beautiful setting! Peaceful and quiet yet only a short drive from locals towns with loads to do! We had everything we needed, the apartment is very well equipped (so grateful for the cot and high chair!) and spotlessly clean! Thank you to everyone involved :) we had a brilliant stay!

This is a great villa in a great location, about 3km from the centre of Carvoeiro. If you like walking it's only about 30 min walk to the town or you could get a €5 Uber. There are a few restaurants and a small supermarket very nearby. The villa ... wow ... we couldn't fault it. We felt right at home. It was furnished lovely, had everything you needed and was spotlessly clean. Our recommendation is no need to have pool heated if temps have been 25+. We didn't bother and it was cooler at the start, but like a bath at the end of the 2 weeks.

When searching Airbnb for a place to stay in Portugal, Pedro’s property stood out. From our initial enquiry to the day we left Portugal after our 14 night holiday, Pedro was fantastic, always in contact with helpful information or to answer any questions we had. Our stay in Portugal was made more memorable because Pedro was our host and we highly recommend him and his apartment

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Isabelle and Philipp's place! Everything was perfect - check in was easy, the home was clean and stocked with everything we needed, the views are stunning, and the location was perfect (about a 10 minute walk to town and the beach). We had a few questions about the pool lights and Isabelle always responded within minutes. Isabelle also shared several recommendations for nearby beaches, restaurants, and excursions and every single recommendation was perfect. Highly recommend staying here!!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in the heart of Lagos Old Town. We really appreciated how clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed the space was. It felt both stylish and comfortable. The location couldn’t be better: walking distance to everything (restaurants, beaches, coffee shops, local retail), yet tucked away enough to feel quiet and relaxing. Private parking was a huge bonus, especially in the busy town center, and the private pool was a lovely way to unwind at the end of the day. The hosts, especially Carmo, were incredibly responsive and provided clear instructions that made check-in seamless. We’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a well-appointed home base in Lagos.

Absolutely Amazing Stay in Lagos! I had a fantastic time at this Airbnb in Lagos! The space was clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The location was perfect—just a short walk from the beach (especially Praia do Canavial), restaurants, and a 20 minute walk from the charming old town. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful, providing great local recommendations and making sure I felt right at home. I especially appreciated the quiet, peaceful surroundings and the stunning plunge pool for hot summer evenings. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Lagos—you won’t be disappointed!

What a wonderful stay! The location is truly a hidden gem – even better and more peaceful than the photos and description suggest. The view was absolutely breathtaking, and we found ourselves completely immersed in the beauty of the surroundings. We didn’t even turn on the TV once all week – that says it all. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway with our baby. The peaceful atmosphere allowed us to fully unwind. Nicole was amazing – warm, attentive, and very helpful. Everything was perfectly taken care of, and we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. We’ll definitely be coming back!

The villa was beautiful, tastefully decorated and comfortable, a real home from home with everything we needed. It was myself, husband and two teenage children. We enjoyed a wonderful week there in May, the weather was great and there was plenty to do. The entire complex is very well designed, a quiet, peaceful little holiday village, with lots of different sized villas spread out over green gardens with lots of connecting paths, all the way to the edge of the cliff with stunning views. There, you can either go left to the amazing Atlantic Pool, or go right to the elevator down to the beach. Maria gave us a list of suggested activities, good beaches and restaurants and I think we tried nearly all of them. She was a wonderful host and every time I texted her, she was very friendly and got back with an answer, which was really helpful. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this villa and its lovely host.

Amazing stay just like when we previously stayed in the villa, exceptionally clean, and beautiful just how you would like it!. Emy and Leo are extremely attentive and friendly and will make sure your stay is top notch! Can’t recommend this place enough! The local town armacao is a 3 minute drive or 15 minute walk and filled with everything you need, from restaurants to bars to boat rides and beaches. 10/10 from myself and the family again :)

🌟 Wonderful stay in Silves! 🌟 We had a fantastic time at this beautiful house in Silves! 🏡✨ Everything was exactly as described – the place is modern, well-equipped and very clean. The peaceful location, private parking 🚗, and refreshing pool 🏊 made our holiday truly relaxing. Communication with the host was smooth and friendly. 💬😊 A small suggestion: it would be helpful to clarify in the description that there is a second key box – we only found the gate remote in the first one, and discovered the second one by chance three days later near the ping-pong table. 🔐 Also, we didn't see any bins on the property, but we found a place in town to dispose of our garbage. 🗑️ Still, these were just minor things and didn’t affect our great experience. We would definitely love to come back again! ❤️

We loved our stay at the villa. The garden & the views were amazing. It was perfect for children. The pool had gate, a big plus for security. We liked that there was the possibility to heat the pool (we went end of April - beginning of May). The dining area outside was so nice. The kitchen was fully equipped. The interior design was spotless. Modern bathrooms, comfortable beds, with an authentic feel. You need a car to get around. Everything was close by (5-10 min by car) : beaches, restaurant, supermarket, etc. The host were super responsive. To sum it up : it’s a perfect place for a family vacation!

The house is just as described in the photos. The area is quiet and secluded from the city. Needed vehicle, because although it is not far from the village, the road has to be done by a busy and narrow road. However, very well communicated to access the highway and visit the Algarve. Magnificent attention from Francisco responding quickly. Housing is highly recommended.

We had a wonderful 2 week stay here in June 2025. Raul was a great and friendly host, always available when needed. The houses are located in a rural environment, very calm and well maintained. Yet, 5-10 minutes by car and you're in the small towns. Would definitely stay again, if spending time in Algarve.

Wow, what a stunning property. Absolutely gorgeous and the best view. Photos don’t even do it justice! John and Sarah were incredible hosts, very helpful, friendly and their recommendations in the guidebook were excellent - thank you both so much. We had the most fantastic time and would love to come back again soon!

Do you want a great, luxurious and yet super cozy holiday in the Algarve? Don't hesitate: this house is perfect. Very neat and spacious house with all the necessary amenities (also various toiletries available for you), beautiful decor, very cozy. Quiet area. Not a holiday home, but a really luxurious family house where you just don't want to leave. Also very spacious garden (lawn, orchards, spacious driveway) with a superb swimming pool and sun loungers/umbrellas. Laura's welcome was great, not intrusive, but just always readily available you had to need something (which wasn't for us, we really had everything our heart desired). During our week-long stay, cleaning was also done in between (with new towels), the garden taken care of and the pool cleaned. In short, did I mention that this house is perfect and its money is completely worth it?

Eva's place was the perfect place to call home in Lagos. It's in a quieter area of the city but still walkable to everywhere. She was very helpful with instructions and advice for our stay and had someone to greet us while she talked us through the place via video call. lots of attention to detail and a very nicely decorated place, but still practical. If you're a light sleeper, ear plugs for the seagulls would be a good idea, but that's the same for anywhere in Lagos. Was able to find parking each day too and instructions in guestbook were great for confirming parking spots. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay at Francesca's place. Everything was exactly what we needed (a place to relax and recharge) and the pool was just perfect. I wish we could have stayed longer! Would definitely recommend.
