It has a year-round road and is in the immediate vicinity of driven ski slopes towards Tronfjell or to Tynset city center. The cabin is located at the heart of a cabin area, with no visibility and in the immediate vicinity of the mountain, pristine forest, open expanses and several small lakes. It is ideal for bike, skiing and berry trips. In addition, the city's official swimming area is just a kilometer away with beach, barbecue and volleyball court.

The cabin is located on a shelf in the terrain so the view is for miles and the sunrise is even more amazing. Midsummer so the sun goes down around 11 pm and back up at 5 am. There is also access to two dog farms so that the best friend can follow along on the trip and have a good stay.

Here you can also have a better dinner, or buy an ice cream. Nice alpine slope five minutes by car. Horse center nearby with opportunities for riding lessons and canoeing.

The surrounding area is quiet and peaceful with the forest close by. Glomma flows quietly past.

Storrøsta is a quiet retreat, overlooking the mountains and valley. Enjoy the silence and view at sunset from the patio or the living room - if you're lucky you'll have a moose visiting! The place is also great for kids. There's a trampoline and a slack line available in the summer, as well as outdoor games and bikes free for you to borrow.
