Мы приехали в три часа ночи и нас встретили, как родных. Хозяева очень внимательные и отзывчивые. Если вам хочется, немножко пожить в тропическом лесу, понаблюдать за попугаями, белками, насекомыми, посмотреть на растения, то это отличное место. Веранда расположена, так, что открывается вид на растительность и создаётся ощущения уединённости. Завтраки заслуживают отдельного внимания, о времени можно договариваться заранее, так как нам было удобно. Всегда был вкусный цейлонский чай, фруктовые шейки, а блюда вкусные с местным колоритом, каждый день новые и разнообразные. Теперь о доме и ее хозяйке. интересный дизайн (из-за чего мы его и выбрали) нам трём друзьям было в нем комфортно и уютно. Реальность оказалась лучше картинки в приложении. Хозяйка реагировала на наши просьбы, все наши нужды были удовлетворены. Интика окружила нас заботой и вниманием. Мы готовили ужины сами, либо на гриле во дворе, либо на кухне дома. Вечера проводили на веранде. Убирают дом, по нашему желанию, так же меняют полотенца. Есть стиральная машина, Хозяйка с удовольствием покажет, как пользоваться техникой. И высушит вещи. Что нас очень порадовало, так это пляж. Широкая береговая линия, отличная температура воды и минимум людей. В отличии от другого конца пляжа. Пешком 12 минут, нам очень нравились эти прогулки, есть возможность посмотреть на настоящую жизнь местных жителей. До фруктового рынка 10 минут. До рыбного рынка 15 минут. Мы очень остались довольны и расположением и ценой и конечно качеством. Спасибо большое за гостеприимство!

Liegt oben auf einem Hügel. Das Schwimmbad für sich zu haben ist Luxus! :) Ruhige Umgebung. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten fußläufig erreichbar. Würde jederzeit wiederher kommen. Jacky ist super freundlich und hilft bei allem weiter. Roller, Laundry... Vielen Dank für den Aufenthalt!

Останется в моей памяти как одно из приятных впечатлений. очень радостная семья. тёплый приём. домашние завтраки с Курдом - сделанные мамой Маду. Спальня с огромной удобной кроватью, чистые удобные подушки, хорошее постельное белье. москитная сетка на кровати -супер!! Кухня с необходимой посудой. Мама Маду вкусно готовит- мы с удовольствием покупали у нее обеды. И они нас постоянно угощали вкусняшками) территория ухоженная.-около дома-красивый цветочный сад. за домом домашнее хозяйство домашние буйволы и коровки , телята- их можно кормить.Бегают бурундучки, Гуляют павлины, поют птички, в реке вараны. контактный зоопарк. Если поеду следующей зимой в Шри-Ланку- обязательно остановлюсь у Маду)!!!!

Chaminda and his family are truly beautiful. I came as a guest and left as family. They are kind, friendly, attentive and true in their genuine hospitality. The room they have is great and the surroundings are fabulous. 5 mins to beautiful beaches and 20 mins inland to an amazingly peaceful temple set within the jungle. I was lucky to have a group of semi local lads staying near me who work locally on a site and whom were so friendly and welcoming. If you want to experience Sri Lanka and the heart of the people who make this country so beautiful and then stay here, for it is a special place owned by a magical family 🙏

This awesome house is run by a very sweet family who are easy to communicate with and always do their best to help. The location is in a very green and quiet area away from the hustle and bustle with a beautiful Buddhist temple and green rice fields nearby with lots peacocks (and all kinds of birds) around. I stayed at this house for two months and it has been a delight.

This was a great place in a great location. The staff were super helpful. Chef Indy is a great cook and we enjoyed both his breakfasts (French toast was great!) and dinners (excellent curries). Kelum helped us arrange surf lessons as well as providing other tips. We had a great stay. The only downside of the place is that it is between a busy street and the train tracks and the train can be a bit loud but it didn’t keep any of us from sleeping and the private yard area is very nice. The open kitchen/living/dining area has a beautiful view of the ocean and the AC in the bedrooms worked great.

We had a great stay celebrating two birthday’s with our friends and children. Our host was always on hand if we needed anything. For the budget this place was perfectly suitable for our group. We would Definitely stay again.

Shamila is very welcoming and a good host. She had welcome smoothies at our arrival and also made breakfast every day, either toast, pancakes or some Sri Lankan breakfast. The place looks just like the pictures, very clean and nice. There’s also scooter rental possible at her place. You can walk to the closest beach, but have to walk a bit further to come to the nice parts, so I would recommend to rent a scooter to get around easily in town.

Очень хорошее место. До пляжа 5 минут пешком. Комнаты большие, есть свой красивый сад, где бегают бурундуки. Хозяйка очень добрая и милая женщина. Недалеко стоит храм, оттуда идёт молитва в 5 утра (молятся, чтоб прошёл коронавирус), иногда просыпались от него, но спать не мешало.

Amazing! This Family is so hospitable! We were staying here for 2 weeks and were fully satisfied! + Breakfasts are delicious! And you can get real pleasure if you order dinner - they can cook whatever you want! + All that you need as a tourist you can get right here - the hosts helped us with transfers, bikes, laundry, etc. + Nice location - away from center and noise. Of the cons: - Mattress is a bit old but has good firmness - The hosts did not respond to Airbnb until we have requested a transfer. We even almost cancel our reservation, but after everything was great

Ma sœur et moi avons passé une semaine chez Isuru et c’était un vrai bonheur ! Le logement est très sympa et calme et nous avions pour bonheur d’avoir des petits chiens du logement auxquels nous nous sommes très attachés les petits déjeuners étaient très bons et les dîners également petit point : nous avons eu très chaud dans les logements malgré les ventilateurs, à part ça, rien à dire !! encore merci pour ce merveilleux moment

Place was great. A clean and beautiful house. Very peaceful surrounding and very close to a nice clean beach Luma beach. Tuk tuk easily available from the stay to anywhere in Galle. Amazing Breakfast and very nice hosts. Recommended.

Die Unterkunft ist der perfekte Ort, um zur Ruhe zu kommen. Direkt am Strand gelegen ist die Lage unschlagbar und auch der große Garten ist ein Paradies. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auf dem großen Gelände kamen wir auch mit ein paar Stammgästen ins Gespräch, die seit vielen Jahren immer wieder diese Unterkunft wählen. Wir können absolut verstehen, wieso sie immer wieder kommen und würden es genauso machen. Nach ein paar Tagen hatten wir sogar das Gefühl, ein bisschen zur Familie dazuzugehören und haben an unserem letzten Tag noch gemeinsam Kokosnüsse gepflückt - das war wirklich sehr schön. Danke für die Gastfreundschaft und die tolle Zeit! ✨

Очень гостеприимные, внимательные и дружелюбные хозяева! До этого жили в других местах, было с чем сравнить, это жилье очень понравилось! Рядом железная дорога, но она не мешает. Завтраки очень вкусные и плотные. До моря минут 10 неспешным шагом, рядом пляж с рифами и черепахами. Есть трансфер из/в аэропорт, мы воспользовались, очень комфортно. Большое вам спасибо!

Wir legen jedem Sri Lanka Reisenden einen Aufenthalt in Sankas Villa ans Herz. Wir haben dort die letzte knappe Woche unserer Reise verbracht, um dort auszuspannen und den Stationen unserer Rundreise nachzusinnen. Dafür eignet sich kaum eine andere Unterkunft so sehr wie Sankarest. Die Unterkunft selbst ist wunderschön und sehr gepflegt. Jedes des Zimmer hat vor der Eingangstür eine zusätzliche beschattete Veranda. Die Zimmer werden täglich gereinigt und sorgsam gepflegt, ebenso die Poolanlage. Aber die familiäre, freundliche Atmosphäre, in der man sich unglaublich wohlfühlt, ist das klare Highlight. Die gesamte Familie und die anderen helfenden Hände sind überaus hilfsbereit und immer offen und ansprechbar, wenn es um Ausflugstipps und jegliche andere Anliegen geht. Das Essen wird mit sehr viel Liebe gekocht. Der Strand liegt nur zwei Minuten von der Villa entfernt, eignet sich dort direkt aber nicht zum Schwimmen, aber 300 m weiter kann man wunderbar schwimmen. Auf nach Kosgoda!

Unser Aufenthalt im Ketature Beach House in Weligama war wunderschön und ein echtes Highlight unserer Reise! Die herzliche Gastfreundschaft der Familie hat uns sofort willkommen geheißen und dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns wie zu Hause gefühlt haben.Besonders begeistert waren wir von dem großartigen Kochkurs, den wir gemeinsam erleben durften. ein Abend voller Lachen, Gespräche und köstlichem Essen, das wir selbst zubereitet haben. Die liebevolle Art der Familie machte diesen Moment zu etwas ganz Besonderem.Die Lage des Beach House ist unvergleichlich – nur 20 Meter vom Strand entfernt. Morgens konnten wir direkt zum Meer laufen und abends die Sonnenuntergänge genießen. Das Essen im Beach House war immer lecker, abwechslungsreich, zubereitet mit Liebe und Hingabe. Dieser Ort ist perfekt für alle, die Gastfreundschaft, gutes Essen und die Nähe zum Meer suchen! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir hatten einen wirklich schöne Zeit in dieser Unterkunft. Das Zimmer + Badezimmer war sehr sauber, das Bett war sehr bequem und auch das WLAN sehr stabil (für uns sehr wichtig, da wir online arbeiten) Das Frühstück jeden Morgen wurde von sehr netten Damen zubereitet, es gab immer unterschiedliche Sachen (Linsencurry, Pancakes, Obst) Einen Roller konnten wir uns in der Unterkunft ausleihen und haben damit die Gegend erkundet. Wir können diese Unterkunft auf jeden Fall empfehlen und würden sie auch selbst wieder besuchen!

Chani and Lali were lovely hosts! Very accommodating with check in, greeted us on arrival and were very friendly. The room was as pictured & described - very comfy bed, hot water! Shared kitchen facilities were very good, plenty of space in the fridge to keep what you wanted chilled. Location wise, the place is excellent - a very short walk to restaurants and the beach - but set back far enough to be peaceful. The hosts held our bags for us on check out day as we had an early start for a whale watching boat trip booked. Chani & Lali have built a lovely little sanctuary which felt really peaceful to stay at. Thank you, we enjoyed our stay :)

Bandu homestay/guesthouse is truely unique ... beautiful artistically painted quirky rooms & bathrooms/balconies set in a verdant lush garden of tall multi storied plants that's truely awe-inspiring conveying a natural peaceful ambience with its mangos, birds, squirrels, peacocks & even monkeys ... I couldn't stop taking photos of the place. Bandu is happy to sit & chat with you about Sri Lanka with excellent English & his wife makes the best tea in the morning & I was lucky enough to be offered curry & roti on occasion. Unawatuna is not my favourite beach but this is my "favourite" Airbnb & I will return in the future

Lovely room and Maria was super flexible with early check in as our travel plans had changed last minute. Beautiful room and we love Rio! Only consideration was that is close to the train tracks and you can hear the train passing in the morning

A beautiful family room tucked away from the kaos of the Main Street. The room was beautiful, spotless and comfortable. The balcony was lovely in the mornings and the beach towels provided were a welcome touch. Everything is within walking distance including the beach, cafes and restaurants. We had a wonderful stay in this gorgeous place. Highly recommend!

We had another wonderful stay in the villa this year. This time I didn't book directly by the sea, but a little further back. The room was very big and the two beds were very comfortable. The terrace was a dream, where I could enjoy my coffee every morning at 7 a.m. with a great view of the sea. Breakfast was as delicious as always and really plentiful (great Sri Lankan breakfast on request) ❤️ The whole team is as helpful and friendly as always. You come as a guest and leave as a friend. Ich war einen ganzen Monat hier in der Forrest Villa. Wer Ruhe sucht und sich gerne in der Natur aufhält ist hier genau richtig. Ein Kolonialhaus voller Kunstgegenstände und einer äusserst interessanten Bibliothek. Der Strand und der See ist innert 15 Minuten mit dem Tuk Tuk erreichbar. Das Tuk Tuk kann jederzeit gerufen werden und ist innerhalb von 20 Min. hier. Das Schwimmbad lädt zum verweilen ein. Affen, Pfauen, Schmetterlinge, Libellen, Flughunde und viele weitere Tiere sind zu beobachten. Nicht zu vergessen Freddie der Hund und mehrere liebevolle Katzen. Guy ist jederzeit da, beantwortet und hilft in jeder Situation. Die Angestellten sind äusserst nett und aufmerksam. Es wird ein hervorragendes Frühstück serviert mit selbst gebackenem Brot von Guy und den frischen Eiern von den Hühnern hier auf dem Gelände. Alles in allem ein wundervoller, unvergesslicher Ort zum verweilen.
