Small summer getaway for couples. The accommodation matches the description and photographs, it even looks smaller in the photos than it actually is, ideal for families of 4 or even one or two more people. The surrounding area is excellent for the beach, very close, just a short walk away, the only thing missing is a lack of street entertainment and walks, but it is ideal for those looking for a quiet place to relax for a few days at the beach. The neighborhood is extremely quiet and safe. We will definitely repeat.

The views from the terrace where we sat in the morning with our breakfast were stunning and in the evening we sat in the garden watching the sunset . Very easy to get to supermarket and a few restaurants. Absolutely loved this place.

Sandras place was amazing, its right on the beach and a 30 second walk to the restaurants. It was amazing waking up each morning to the sound of the sea, the place has 3 terraces that you can lounge on and the view from the hot tub on the roof is one not to miss. The kitchen is well layed out with all you need if you want to cook. Sandra was very helpful via text if we ever needed her and she gave us recommendations of where to eat etc. We will be returning to stay again for sure.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Quinta Castor! The house is simply wonderful, with an inviting pool and all the amenities needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The environment is extremely calm and serene, ideal for those looking for a refuge from the bustle of everyday life. One of the highlights of our stay was without a doubt the host, José. From the first contact, it was always very attentive and available, making sure that we had everything we needed and making us feel truly at home. Our hospitality and attention to detail made our experience even more special. We recommend Quinta Castor to everyone without any hesitation! It is a place that we will certainly want to return.

We absolutely loved our stay at Mónica and Carlo’s place! We were so close to the beach, restaurants and shopping. There was so much to do within a few minutes walk. The house was even better than the pictures and Monica and Carlo’s reached out throughout our stay to ensure we had everything we needed. Overall, great house and hosts. Would love to come back again!

The apartment is on the 3rd floor and has a large, closed on both sides, balcony with a magnificent sea view. There was actually everything in the kitchen to prepare something fresh from the market hall. Maybe a little tip: a large pan would be urgently needed because the fish to be bought does not fit in the existing pan. The path to the beach was easy to find and quick to reach. The parking space in the underground parking lot was also great!

We’ve not stayed at a better location, highly recommended. Located just a few minutes walk from a world-class beach. A secure location within a complex that allows you to reside with others in the community, while at the same time having privacy. Every convenience and necessity is made available. The kitchen facilities are modern and very complete, all that you may need during an extended visit is provided. Manta Rota is a delightful village, we made many new friends. The hosts, Lucy and Carlos, are welcoming, helpful and friendly. They involved themselves personally to be sure we were comfortable and fully satisfied. They made every effort to ensure our stay was memorable. They have a flair for decoration and delight in creating a chic and upscale ambiance. The cleanliness, quality and decor is first rate. Facilities are modern & in top condition. Description and photos are completely accurate. Heating systems were excellent. We booked to return, which confirms our recommendation.

We had a fantastic family stay (3 adults and 3 children) in this wonderful house! From the beginning, communication with the host was excellent — always available, with useful and relevant directions that greatly facilitated our arrival and stay. The house was perfectly prepared to welcome families with children: we found high chairs, a baby bath, beach towels, a parasol, a hair dryer and many other details that made all the difference. We truly feel at home. The location is great, in a very quiet area, ideal for resting. The heated pool was one of the highlights — perfect for relaxing with the little ones. The nearby beach is also very calm, ideal for children to run and play freely. In terms of convenience, there are supermarkets less than 5 minutes away by car, and even next to the house there is a pharmacy and a cafe with delicious bread (1 minute by car). Without a doubt, an experience to repeat.

We had the pleasure of the staying at Rita’s place for a week in April 2025. The apartment is comfortable and well equipped, the rooftop terrace with a bbq is perfect for dinner with fresh seafood from the local market. It was our 3rd visit to the Algarve region and Manta Rota is one of our favorite spots so far, we’d definitely return to Manta Rota and book the apartment again.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment! The absolutely stunning sea view is breathtaking, and the long sandy beach just across the street made it easy to enjoy the seaside every day. The location is fantastic—full of great restaurants and even places to rent bikes, so you can easily explore the beautiful coastline on two wheels. The apartment itself is clean, fresh, and modern, with all the kitchen appliances you need to cook comfortably. The bed is really comfy, and I loved that there were some books and even table games available for relaxing evenings in. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, I highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable seaside getaway!

We had a lovely time! What a unique stay! We loved having the pool to use on a quiet day or to refresh as we explored the area. As a family of 4 we had more than enough space. Ricardo and Jennie’s lovely apartment is every bit as good as the pictures and reviews suggest. It is clean, bright, modern, and comfortable, with the most gorgeous sea view. Perfectly located close to all the promenade has to offer, but still very quiet and peaceful. It is clear how much thought and effort they have put into the property, from the tasteful decor to the items for the beach, and everything in between. It has everything you could possibly need and more. Ricardo and Jennie were also very thoughtful providing items for our baby. I have been on Airbnb for 12 years and this was my favorite one yet. We will be back, and now we wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else in Quarteira! Thank you, Ricardo and Jennie (and Vera!)
