Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Altona

Me and a friend stayed at Katja's house during two weeks for an internship at Loki-Schmidt Botanical Garden and we loved our stay! The neighborhood is green and calm, surrounded by beautiful houses and gardens. Several food stores are within walking distance, and it took us 20 min to walk to the botanical garden (which btw is well worth a visit!). The S-bahn is a 10-15 min walk away, and there is a bus station even closer. Katja was very friendly and helpful, and was quick to answer messages and requests. In the check-in instructions it wasn't straight forward how to reach the house, but at last I realized that the house can be located at the back of Katja's house (just walk to the left and around the back and you will find it). The house has a private entrance and a nice private little patio. We cooked a lot of food when we stayed at the house, and the kitchen contained everything we needed! We loved our stay and would absolutely recommend it! I hope I can come back soon!

Beautiful house in a green environment, despite the proximity to the city. Very good communication with Jolie before and during the stay. Definitely recommended if you don't want to be right in Hamburg's city center.

Definitely a quite and nicer area to stay. The farm restaurant up the road was delicious. Main grocery next door was great. Only issue was the Train station nearest us was down for 3 days maintenence. So we had to either walk 40min from the next closest or hop an Uber. Would absolutely stay here again and beautiful location.

The studio is tip top downstairs at a beautiful family house in a green area. Mirko was a very nice and warm host, who you could always ask if anything didn't work out. The studio was very nice and new with dishwasher and washing machine and an Italian shower. High standard for a low price. Unfortunately, I didn't get along so well with the individual twin mattresses, because I'm used to sleeping in a double bed with a larger blanket, but I finally got used to it. I would like to come back, as such good studios are rare.

The apartment is a hidden gem! The room is beautiful and the neighborhood is quiet, but at th same time super close to the subway station and their are a lot of grocery stores, coffee shops, and restaurants close by.

Great, family-friendly house with a beautiful garden. We felt very comfortable. It was a wonderful experience, especially for our children (11, 4, 2). It never got boring and if it did, there was a small park with a playground right next door. We will be happy to come back.

We had a wonderful stay at Daniela's cottage! The cottage is very clean, cozy and located in a beautiful environment – perfect for relaxing. The communication with Daniela was excellent, she was always available and incredibly friendly and helpful. You can feel that she cares about the well-being of her guests. We would come back anytime and can fully recommend the place. Thank you for the wonderful time!

Is really good always available

Had a great stay at Yasmina. Beautiful and spacious apartment, equipped with every comfort. The apartment is +/- 20 min cycling from the center of Hamburg, we had bikes with us and did not mind. There is also plenty within walking distance, a supermarket, park with restaurant for dinner or drinks and coffee and lunch room. We were with 4 adults and our daughter slept on the sofa bed. That was perfect, but you can't have 2 adults on the sofa bed, that's too tight. Clear instructions to get inside. Quietly located apartment on the ground floor, with a shared garden. So we could also sit outside. Highly recommended for a weekend in Hamburg!

I was with my daughter for five nights in the accommodation and we had a really great time with Katharina and Jannik. We come from a big city ourselves and I usually find stays in another big city exhausting. Due to the abundance of greenery and the quiet location, our stay in Katharina and Jannick's apartment actually gave us a little country holiday feeling. We enjoyed walks through the beautiful Jenischpark down to the Elbe, at the same time the connection with public transport is so good that you can be in the center of Hamburg in a short time. The kitchen is well equipped, so you can easily cater for yourself. The possibility of washing laundry is also a plus, especially when traveling with a child. I'm sure we'll be back! Absolutely recommended - We felt at home! We stayed at Claudia's accommodation in Hamburg and are absolutely thrilled! The Airbnb was very clean and incredibly cozy – we felt right at home. We would like to particularly highlight Claudia's fast and uncomplicated communication. Thanks to their reliable feedback, we had no problems and were able to enjoy our stay in a relaxed way. The stay with Jessica was great all around. We felt at home in the beautiful apartment, everything was tiptop. Jessica was always available, super friendly, helpful and flexible. The apartment is really lovingly furnished and it is perfectly located between Schanze and Reeperbahn/Elbe in the colorful St. Pauli, which we love just as much. We highly recommend it and would have loved to stay!

Great communication from Lillian for a smooth check-in and we easily found parking in the neighborhood. Studio was spacious, looked just like the photos, and was well equipped. Nice, quiet, walkable neighborhood, close to shops and a bakery is just around the corner. We would definitely recommend Lillian's place if you are looking in the area.

Enjoyed a great 4 day stay in Hamburg for work. Comfortable and modern, close to public transport and some nice restaurants.

we were received very empathetically by lia and her life partner. we found an apartment that exceeded our expectations: from a like apple to a newspaper, everything was available (things you wouldn't expect in a rented apartment)! thank you for welcome flowers and wine. Even a hot bottle was available. great connection to the bus and subway ... the way to downtown Hamburg was easy to manage (with the public and also with the bike brought with you) summa summarum: we felt well taken care of!

We had a wonderful time with Maria, we felt comfortable from the first minute. The place is very nice and quiet and only a short walk to the train station. I can highly recommend it to everyone.

Our weekend at Stephanie's accommodation exceeded our expectations. The apartment is modern and beautifully furnished, everything you need is available, it is quiet and above all it is super located, so you can quickly get to stops. The reception was already very personally prepared and we felt comfortable right away. Thank you for that ☺️ Since we arrived 2 hours before the actual check-in, Stephanie made a great effort to ensure that we could check in earlier and also recommended a great parking space. The communication was quick and easy. We will definitely come again and gladly recommend it to others!

I was looking for a nice place to stay for our wedding day and relied on the extremely positive reviews here. And indeed, we can only agree with the 5-star ratings. • The hospitality and reception were excellent • The cleanliness was really remarkable • The equipment was as specified and everything in very good condition • The facility really matches the pictures and is very stylish • The environment is very green and quiet Regarding parking spaces, we had no difficulty finding one. We highly recommend this place.

We felt very comfortable in the apartment! There is a blind for the window in the shower (for those who are also asking😉). The garden is a dream and we sat in the sun in the afternoon for an hour or two and watched the chicken gang during their laps. The street was quite noisy during our visit. The windows are super insulated - when they are closed, it's completely unproblematic. But we slept with the window open and then it was quite noisy. Maybe this will be better due to the leaves on the trees in front of the window, but everything was still bare with us. 🙂 The contact with Christoph was super nice, friendly and uncomplicated both before and on site.
