A mountain villa built more than 100 years ago , implanted on an imposing rock with a unique surroundings and a breathtaking view over the sea the city , Cascais and the mountain where it is inserted . The house was recently refurbished and enlarged with a modern and design construction enjoying the view and surroundings . You can see it from the top of the Serra de Sintra, to Guincho to Cabo Espichel. A stone's throw from the pedestrian paths of the Serra de Sintra and its monuments and next to good restaurants , cafes with good atmosphere , the small village has a supermarket and pharmacy for your tranquility. Guests have at their disposal a house with 2 bedrooms, living room and kitchen, totally private and access to a large garden with an infinite pool where they can enjoy the wonderful view. I live on the property and am available to share stories and information about the region. I love cycling and know the Serra like the back of my hand. I can share the secrets of the mountains and advise the best restaurants in the region. Malveira da Serra, picturesque village next to Cascais and Lisbon (20 min), with hiking trails in Serra de Sintra and its monuments. Guincho Beach and its wild dunes with their unique beauty are a paradise for surfing/kite-surfing/windsurfing. I advise you to use your own car.

This typical fisherman's house, with 30m2, was rehabilitated in 2017, and now have: - Kitchen equipped with dishwasher, clothes and refrigerator, dining table and 2 chairs. - Living room with a comfortable sofa, TV, WI-FI. - WC with shower. - Mezzanine, with a access staircase, with double bed (160cmx180cm), writing desk and a charriot. Guests can access all areas except the storage area. Usually we will be present at the entrance and exit and available for any unforeseen situation. Stroll down to the water just a few steps away at the end of the road. Venture out and explore the neighbourhood filled with quaint houses, lovely restaurants, grocery stores, and coffee shops. Preferably walk as it your in the center of the village of Alcochete. Smoking is not allowed, nor bring pets. No parties or events allowed Children up to 1 year old for safety reasons, since there are no gates or doors on the stairs between the mezzanine / bedroom and the ground floor.

There is another stop at 120 meters that takes us to Cais do Seixalinho, where we can make the beautiful boat crossing to downtown Lisbon in 30 minutes. Very well located as a starting point for trips to Lisbon or the surrounding area. Buses and trains can be reached in a few minutes on foot. Also shops are in the immediate vicinity and in Rua Cândida dos Reis, which leads to the ferry port, there are some very nice restaurants/cafes. The place is very clean and very tastefully decorated and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need and don't necessarily want to take with you when traveling (iron/small ironing board, for example😅). John Nicolas is a very nice and helpful host who responds quickly to any questions that come up. The most beautiful addition for me in Almada - be sure to go to the River Garden at sunset and enjoy the great views of Lisbon, Ponte 25 de Abril and Cristo Rei.

The tower is part of a larger property, but pretty far from the main house and extremely quiet. The gal at the house was super friendly to help with check in and our bags as we arrived early. We had an issue with wifi, which wasn't able to be resolved during our stay (realized it after business hours and the next day was a holiday), but they helped us access internet for a work meeting and were accommodating. The tower was spectacular and the view was something else. The room is small, but we spent most of our time in Sintra or on the rooftop!

Two days to visit Lisbon by taking the river shuttle to seixta 10mn from the apartment (crossing 20mn).... Visit alfama neighborhoods, seixta. Chiado... Tuk tuk tour of the city discovering many monuments with a super guide who speaks French English and English very well. Great knowledge of history... Tuktuk DOURO&TEJO too great. Today belem, estoril, sintra., waterfalls Perfect location friendly hosts. ***** I will recommend around me without hesitation
