The apartment is very well equipped and comfortable, it is in a perfect location to explore the local attractions we love it .

Loved my time staying at Gemma’s place, there is a fully equipped kitchen, two large bedrooms and a spacious lounge area. The apartment is very central, with lots of pubs, cafes and restaurants close by. The area is wonderful with loads of beautiful walks, I will definitely be back again.

A great little place. You can park your car up the day you arrive and not have to drive it again until it’s time to leave. Right in the middle of the action, pubs/places to eat on your doorstep. Take a ramble into Amble, or walk up to Alnmouth. It’s all on the doorstep.

What an absolute gem. Book Nook truly lives up to its name and is a book lover’s paradise with all the comforts of home. The decor is warm and inviting, creating the perfect space to relax and get lost in a good book. The location is ideal, with fantastic independent bookshops close by, especially The Accidental Bookshop and Barter Books, which are absolute must-visits. The area is full of great cafés, restaurants, and local amenities, making it easy to enjoy a comfortable and delicious stay. We were genuinely impressed by the variety and quality on offer. There is so much history in the area that it was hard to fit everything in during one trip. A return visit is definitely on the cards. Bamburgh Castle and the nearby boat trips are only around 30 minutes away and the scenic drive alone is worth the journey. Highly recommended. We can’t wait to come back.

June was a perfect host , was there if we wanted her and was very helpful. She met us outside on arrival and gave us the keys to the property. The house was very homely and spacious for 2 people and very well equipped. Would highly recommend It is well located with the beach about 100 yards away at the bottom of the street with easy access into the town and the harbour-side. Everything you need is close by with small coop supermarket , bakery and coffee shop within 200 yards.

Great location for a getaway in seahouses. Very close to everything and a lovely apartment to return too for rest and relaxation.

Lovely spacious flat. 2 large bedrooms and loved sleeping in the comfortable 4 poster bed. The whole flat has is modern and well equipped. Felt very comfortable and relaxing Location is perfect for the heart of Amble and everywhere is walkable. The car park, just over the road from the flat, cost a total of £6 for the 2 night stay!! Kerry was a really good host and very responsive. Plenty of info provided before the stay and lots more in the flat. Thoroughly recommend Sails Loft.

Excellent host and excellent place to stay. Loved every minute and we will be back! Host always quick to respond, friendly, clear instructions. Lovely little touches like a very welcome 'welcome pack' just made it so easy to quickly settle and get on with enjoying our stay.

Beautiful apartment, very clean and homely. Host was helpful and responsive and just a really nice and easy process from start to finish. Location is ideal for what I needed. The Nespresso coffee machine was a much appreciated extra! Only other thing I would have appreciated is to have a large mirror near a plug socket in one of the bedrooms so its easier to use the hairdryer but that's a personal preference. I would highly recommend!

The location of John’s place is great! It’s right in the centre of Alnwick so all of the pubs and restaurants are on the doorstep. We loved the castle views. There’s plenty of free parking close by. The apartment itself is really spacious. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again.

This place is really nice and a perfect base for exploring Bamburgh and surrounding area. Although it's close to the pub garden and some other gardens, it was quiet at night. We don't drive, but managed fine with taxi, bus, hired electric bikes and walking. There's small shops in Bamburgh but they close in the afternoon, there's a Co-op in Seahouses for provisions but we just got a food delivery for when we arrived. Highly recommend boat trips to Lindisfarne and to Inner Farne to see the puffins. The beach is stunning and water clear for some refreshing sea dips! Thank you Ross and Ceri for the welcome goodies and a lovely place to stay with great views of the castle :)

It was a lovely touch to put a goody basket in the kitchen, very welcome.

I found Kay to be a helpful and responsive host. The apartment is exactly as in the photos and written description with high quality furniture and furnishings. It was easy to check in , Kay was waiting for us with the keys and parking permit and showed us around the apartment. We didn't move our car at all so the parking permit was a real boon. It was easy to walk from the apartment into the city and all of the attractions, bars and restaurants as it is downhill. We preferred to get a taxi back which were easy to find and not too expensive. I am happy to recommend Kay's apartment to others.

We can not recommend Puffin Place enough. What a fantastic, peaceful and luxurious duplex seafront home this is. The fixtures, fittings, beds, sheets and endless personal touches make this a special place to be lucky enough to stay at. My partner and I celebrated our mutual 60th birthday....and thankfully we are still fit enough to bus to Seahouses (stops by the Mill) have fish and chips, and walk back along the beaches, via cold ones in Bamburgh. And that view. To watch the tide ebb and flow with Lindisfarne Castle in the distance is unique and so special, be it from the lounge and bedroom windows or in the garden. The welcome pack was so kind and the communication with the owners faultless. Well done to them for making such a lovely place for other to stay.

Billy and his wife were very welcoming. We had a cake baked for us and the apartment was very clean and homely.

Suzie and Dan were wonderful hosts. They were always responsive and took care of any of our needs as guests. The welcome book was very informative, highlighting information such as where the closest hospital and vet was- very useful. The house and cottage were beautifully decorated and we felt right at home. I would highly recommend staying here, the surrounding grounds were amazing, and very dog friendly. Would definitely stay again!

Very romantic, comfortable and clean ideal for a weekend away with lovely scenery and trails. Shopping is minimal take what is needed however teas and sugars were provided which was lovely and the hot tub was gorgeous.

This was our second stay at The Old Granary, and we would definitely return again. The cottage has everything we need and is very comfortable and cosy. We love the beautiful, peaceful setting close to nature, with the added benefits of all the leisure activities on site.

Had a fantastic stay and Oliver was a great host. Really appreciated the little welcoming snacks after a long drive and an empty belly. Oliver kept in touch and gave us a good layout of where everything we needed was ahead of arriving. The house is beautiful inside and we were pleasantly shocked by how spacious and open it was. Each room was spotless and welcoming. Some key highlights where the large well equipped kitchen, comfy and relaxing living room space and private back garden space with the hot tub. Would stay again any time I'm in Newcastle.
