Glamping at its finest! This 16’ Yurt is tucked into the woods at Northwoods Resort. Just across the street from AuTrain Lake w/ full beach access. The yurt has 1 queen canopy bed, a cot under the bed for addn sleeping, cable tv, small refrigerator, microwave, keurig coffee maker, small charcoal grill, bonfire pit and chairs! House is secluded in woods 15 minutes from Munising/Pictured Rocks Nat.Lakeshore. Snowmobile ride 2 1/2 miles from house to ungroomed trail that turns into trail 7/8. It sleeps 7 & includes 1 bedroom with king bed, 1 bedroom with twin over queen bunk, & full pull-out couch in living room. One bathroom w/ shower stocked w towels. Washer & dryer in laundry area w/ hooks for hanging gear, etc. No cell phone service at the house, but good imternet & Smart TV in living room. NO pets or smoking!

Beautiful home in a beautiful location! Unfortunately the weather was not warm enough for us to take the kayaks/canoe out, but we fished from the shoreline quite a bit. Our family (ages 18 to 78) had a great time during our stay--much to do, but also peaceful/relaxing...and the sauna was amazing! :)

Such an incredible location. Super close to hiking, riding, and off-roading trails. A quick 10-min drive into Munising for easy access to grocery, restaurants, breweries, and the harbor. Super clean house, fully equipped kitchen, clean bathroom, comfortable bedrooms and living spaces. 10/10 would stay again and recommend to friends!

This is the second time we have stayed here! The house has a perfect location, plenty of space, the kitchen is well stocked with spices and other helpful items to make the stay feel like I’m at home. The space is perfect for a group of people. Plenty of seating for everyone. David was very helpful with the snowfall during the stay to plow the driveway. Great communication, and very responsive. We will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend it, definitely worth the price!

The Maple Hideaway was a great stay! It was spacious for the 6 of us. The kitchen had everything we needed. Lots of parking and snow removal was kept up with in a big Munising winter. Host was responsive to a late check out request. No complaints!

This is a nice, rustic, second floor apartment overlooking Lake Superior with a slightly obstructed view. It’s a unique, colorful do it yourself project with lots of recycled materials (in a good way). The only drawback is that the bedroom windows face the main road, which can get busy with trucks and cars around 6 AM. Good earplugs are useful if you’re a light sleeper. They do provide a white noise machine, which we did not use. It’s also very convenient to the business section and the dock.

Libby and her place were wonderful. She was very responsive and helpful. I have never stayed at an Airbnb with such care put towards recommendations and things to do. Santa’s Shack is perfect – an early Christmas gift for me! It’s comfy, cozy, clean, and spacious, equipped with everything I needed. Danielle is an exceptional host: welcoming, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. I had a minor injury, which I mentioned casually, and Danielle went above and beyond by offering a therapeutic device so I wouldn’t have to drive a considerable distance, there and back, to get one. I had a fantastic time and staying at Santa's Shack was part of the amazing experience. Thank you so much for everything, Danielle!
