Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Alfeizerão

Jane was a terrific person to deal with as we planned our return visit to Foz for our anniversary. Very quick to respond to our queries and offer up suggestions for our trip. Very hands on about the booking, even though she doesn’t live in the local area. Thanks Jane!!

A peaceful, rural location. The comfortable king size bed gave us our best few nights' sleep for months. We'd prearranged for a supply of groceries and paid them on our arrival. With a good stock of food and drink we could stay local and take advantage of exploring Ruth & Graham's vast expanse of fields with fig and olive trees and rambled through their wood down to the river. The facilities inside the barn/cottage are faultless, we had good internet connection and my husband was able to fulfill his work commitments and conduct a video conference. The bathroom/shower was spotless with strong water pressure so that just a gentle turn of the tap gave us perfect showers. Every aspect of what a visitor might need has been well thought through and provided. We took gentle strolls along tracks near the neighbouring tree plantations where the smell of eucalyptus was cleansing. I enjoyed their spring flowers and flocks of birds. I baked a cake and shared it with our hosts. Will rebook soon.

Beautiful clean house and pool, comfy beds and really spacious house. We were greeted by Pereira’s father who gave us a tour and was very friendly and helpful - we enjoyed the wine he gifed us too! Would recommend a car to stay here.

We loved our month’s stay at Arlinda’s place - a house full of art and history - especially appreciated Arlinda’s creative use of driftwood and branches that made for functional and interesting spaces - 3 outdoor spaces! Her home is right outside the castle walls, easy to walk into the center -

Perfect! We loved the house and the area. Easy check-in and check-out, and the house had everything we needed. Rita and her husband brought firewood to use for the fireplace which made our stay extra comfortable. Definitely recommend

Die Wohnung war super sauber, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und toll ausgestattet. Der Blick von der Terrasse und durch die riesige Fensterfront war richtig, richtig schön. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig, wir konnten gut abschalten. Arran&Oliver waren sehr freundliche Gastgeber, die uns bereits im Vorfeld informative und hilfreiche Tipps zum Apartment und der Umgebung zukommen lassen haben. Check-in und Check-out waren unkompliziert. Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt!! ☺️

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 8 Leuten für 8 Nächte da und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Die Familie hat uns sehr herzlich begrüßt und uns tolle Tipps für Ziele in der Umgebung gegeben. Das Haus sowie der Garten waren wirklich schön. Wir hatten alles was man braucht (Pool, Grill, Feuerschale) für eine entspannte Woche. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sowie Unternehmungen waren auch in gut erreichbarer Nähe. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit an die Familie Vicente!

We stayed here for over two weeks and used it as a base to explore from Lisbon to Coimbra, as well as to enjoy the sights of Obidos. It worked perfectly and proved to be a fabulous place to stay which was made convenient by the road network. Rodrigo is a fabulous host and the home and garden are absolutely great. Obidos is incredible and lovely and it’s unique to be able to stay inside the walls of the castle - be warned, it is hilly and everywhere is cobbled, so wheelchairs and those who struggle to walk may not find it easy. Wider travel is easy with fantastic roads - yes, many are tolls and we spent around €70 on charges, but in return we found some absolutely beautiful towns and coastal points such as Coimbra, Tomar, Santarem, Ericeira etc…far too many to list here. We also went to Lisbon a couple of times which was easy by coach for €19 each return. Fully recommend this place for a short stay or as a base for exploration of the Silver Coast.

Geweldige locatie, met mooi uitzicht op zee en op loopafstand van de lagune en het strand met daarbij de restaurantjes, super. Het huisje ligt ook goed voor uitstapjes naar Óbidos, Nazaré, en ook Lissabon. De communicatie met Bruno was gemakkelijk.

We had a lovely stay in nazare at this lovely and peaceful apartment! Super comfortable and great views from balcony. Would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area. The Porto and pastries upon our arrived was also a nice touch. Thank you Maria!

Wir haben 3 Nächte in der Wohnung von André verbracht. Der Check-in war dank guter Anweisungen einfach, autonom und unkompliziert. Parken könnte man direkt vor dem Haus. Die Wohnung war sauber, groß und wie auf den Bildern beschrieben. Besonders schön war der wunderbare Ausblick auf Nazare und das Meer durch große Fenster an der Vorderseite der Wohnung. Der seitliche Balkon bot ebenfalls tolle Aussicht. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

We struggled a lot to find her apartment at first, I think providing photos of the building and street could be very helpful! I appreciated the photos for the lock box because that made it easier to find. Getting the door open to the building was very difficult, you have to jiggle the key up and down and push to get in. Once in her apartment things were wonderful! Very spacious, clean, and great location!

Marco’s seaside flat was the perfect one for us coming for a wedding in Foz do Arelho. The location is right on the promenade and we can very easily enjoy the beach and all the diverse local shops and businesses. Would highly recommend! Obrigada Marco!

Gostámos muito da nossa estadia na casa da Teresa e do Miguel. A casa está super equipada, estava muito limpa e tem uma localização ótima. A Teresa e o Miguel são muito simpáticos e solicitos. Esperamos poder voltar!

Het appartement is ruim en voldoet aan de beschrijving. Het strand en het centrum van Nazaré zijn lopend goed te bereiken. In het weekend is het wat drukker en lawaaiiger op de boulevard. Dat klinkt goed door op het balkon. We hebben een heel plezierig verblijf gehad.

Ficámos muito bem alojados! A casa é confortável, bem equipada e está num lugar muito tranquilo, rodeado de natureza, ideal para descansar e aproveitar bons momentos com amigos. Estávamos num grupo de amigos com uma criança, que adorou especialmente o contacto com os animais, como os cavalos e as galinhas. A anfitriã foi muito simpática e prestável, o que contribuiu para nos sentirmos mesmo bem recebidos. É um espaço ótimo para relaxar e também divertido para os mais pequenos. Recomendamos vivamente e esperamos voltar!

Wir waren sehr zufrieden, insbesondere der tolle Garten und das Billiardzimmer waren super. Das Haus liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend, man konnte den Vögeln beim Zwitschern lauschen. Insgesamt eine sehr geräumige Unterkunft, wir waren zufrieden.

Wir hatten das große Vergnügen, sechs wunderbare Tage in Jorges traumhafter Villa in der Nähe von Nazaré zu verbringen – und können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen! Jorge war ein außergewöhnlich freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber, der uns vom ersten Moment an das Gefühl gegeben hat, willkommen zu sein. Er war jederzeit erreichbar, falls Fragen aufkamen, und hat sich stets bemüht, unseren Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Die Villa selbst ist wunderschön gelegen, ruhig und bietet einen herrlichen Ausblick. Sie ist sehr gut ausgestattet und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der fantastische Pool, der bei Groß und Klein täglich für Erfrischung und Spaß gesorgt hat. Auch die Freizeitmöglichkeiten auf dem Grundstück haben wir sehr geschätzt – der Kickertisch und der Billardtisch, obwohl schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, waren eine tolle Abwechslung und haben nicht nur den Kindern viel Freude bereitet. We had a lovely time at the villa! Francisca has been the best host we could have asked for. The check in and check out have been very flexible and accommodating, she provided us with many local recommendations and support whenever we needed it. The villa is a beautiful well-kept place where you feel right at home. 10/10 recommend and planning on coming back!!
