Holiday rentals with a kayak in Alexander City

We had an incredible stay at this lake house while celebrating our son’s high school graduation! First off, there was a mix-up with our original booking, and the owners went above and beyond to accommodate us last minute — they were so friendly and quick to respond. The home is in the perfect location with its own private small boat ramp and the most fun two-story deck complete with a TV — a major hangout spot for our crew! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals, and all the beds were super comfortable. Publix was just a short 20-minute drive, which made it easy to restock. The only thing we would have changed was having a few more towels available in the bathrooms — but truly, that’s a minor detail in an otherwise amazing stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun and relaxing lake getaway!

We had another great stay at this location. Everything was clean and just like the pictures. The privacy of this home is great for relaxation and just enjoying time with the family and friends . The kayaks and canoes was a great experience on a hot summer day . Will definitely book again

This has been a favorite stay on Lake Martin! Stacey’s home is situated on a gorgeous peace of land with perfect water views. And the home itself is just fantastic. Big, well equipped kitchen. Fantastic great room with comfortable furnishings. Gorgeous bedrooms and bathrooms. Comfortable beds. So well appointed, nice linens, etc. Separate bar area, nice sound system, awesome screened in porch and great firepit. So many other amenities that we didn’t even get to, but she has thought of everything! Thank you, Stacey, for sharing your home. We really do plan to visit again!

We were looking for something to do with family for start of Summer and close enough to 17 Springs for volleyball practice/baseball tournament. This place was fantastic! Brad and Kindle have created such cool place there on The Pointe. Highly recommend!

We cannot express in words how much we loved staying here! We spent a few days at the house unwinding, fishing, playing pool, and grilling. The house is cozy, the beds are comfortable, and the neighborhood is quiet. The neighbors were wonderful as well. We were put into contact with Brad at The Pointe and rented a pontoon. Highly recommend getting out on the lake if you have the time. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we hope to return!!

Andre home was the most beautiful peaceful home I have ever been to in the state of Alabama. When I tell you it was nice, clean and spotless it felt like home in every way. Cozy and warmth. Andre was very responsive and accommodating. If I ever come back to Alabama, Andre home will ALWAYS be my go to. Amazing view of the lake OMG I never seen nothing like it. Well wroth the stay. Thank you Andre and the misses. Keep up the good work.

Beautiful lake house with plenty of room. The home was clean and had everything we needed. House was as described and as in the photos. Very beautiful, quiet and peaceful neighborhood. We felt safe at this location. This home is especially great for large families as there is so much room. It was clean and the beds were so comfy. There were so many bonuses at this home such as 2 washers and 2 dryers, plenty of supplies-towels/wash cloths, detergents, toiletries, even propane for grill and outside fire pit. I highly recommend this place! Kim was an excellent host!

We had a nice time. We were unclear about the trash bags issues but Rachel explained their policy. It would have been helpful to have known that earlier so we could have brought some with us. One trash bag for the whole week just did not work.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Keith's place! The listing was very accurate and was even better in person! Fabulous kitchen with everything you can imagine, bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and so well appointed with just great touches, such as charging stations at each side of the bed, TV's in every bedroom, great blackout drapes if you want to sleep in and nice quality towels. The living room had really comfortable furniture, and beautiful fireplace, great tv. Then there is the outside. We sat out on the back porch every morning to have coffee & were entertained by all the many birds, chipmunks & squirrels. We enjoyed the firepit nightly and cooked a few of our meals on the grill. It was so peaceful on the lake & such a beautiful setting! I highly recommend Keith's place if you are in the area. You will not be disappointed. We truly could not have had a better stay anywhere else.

Just what we were looking for! This place was extremely peaceful and quiet. We had a great time on the lake and Dayna and Joe were fantastic hosts. Would recommend to anybody!

We stayed over Memorial Weekend, and even with the extra lake traffic due to the holiday weekend, we never felt like there were that many people around us. It was quiet and so peaceful, and the cove attached to the house was perfect for our three elementary aged children who spent most of the day swimming and playing with their canoe, kayaks and paddle board! The hot tub was clean and we all used it quite a bit. We didn't use the fire pit, but the fire pit area with the swings is so pretty! They really have a fantastic property.

Ray was a great host. It was a very nice, very private location. It was a perfect place for me and my wife for our anniversary. We would definitely recommend them.

Walter’s heaven was absolutely beautiful. The view from the master bedroom was incredible. Wade, the groundskeeper was very nice and even had fish bait waiting for when we arrived. What I hadn’t seen mentioned in the reviews is how great of a swimming spot they have for children. We will be back!

Hard to describe— It will go down in our family vacation as best vacation we have had Ever. Duck House — forever know as because of the ducks that quacked for food every night by deck railing at around 6:00 pm— was magical, and a slice of Heaven for our family— kayaks need updating/replacing and bigger quanity number but!

There aren’t enough words to describe how wonderful our stay was — it ended up being so lovely that we added an extra night because we simply couldn’t bring ourselves to leave! Gina is not only communicative and helpful, but genuinely kind and it shows! From thoughtful details (small container of coffee to get you started, makeup towels, coloring books - we didn’t travel with children but what a nice touch) to a beautiful setting, we couldn’t have asked for more! The serene location on the lake was quiet and beautiful but we also appreciated the contemporary comforts of wi-fi and a smart tv so that we could watch a little football after spending our day out in nature. The best of both worlds! Thank you for a wonderful stay and we look forward to coming back to visit again soon!!!

Beautiful home with a great view of the lake from the dock. The house was well furnished and comfortable. It is on a dead end street with very little traffic, quiet and peaceful. Angela was quick to respond throughout the booking process and to any questions while we were there. If you are bringing a boat the parking and turn around area is limited and the driveway has a steep incline at the road. With a 24 foot pontoon boat it is doable but tight. We found a secure storage facility very close to the boat launch to park the trailer. It was reasonable and for us more convenient. We were happy with our stay here and would go back or recommend to a friend.

Great cabin off the beaten path. Matt was super responsive before our stay, I had questions about parking with full size truck and boat trailer, it’s tight but nothing a weekly boater can’t handle backing in. Boat slip and double decker dock is great, it fit my 21’ Chaparral with a wakeboard tower just fine. The jacuzzi works good , it just takes a few hours to heat, that’s completely normal for hot tubs. Great view of the lake. Comfortable beds , pillows, and linens. Internet worked great. We really liked the home and will stay again.
