Martim’s cabana overlooking Portinho da Arrábida is truly something special! Nestled in a private garden filled with flowers, fruit trees, and so many butterflies, the cabana has breathtaking views of both the mountains and the sea. It feels like your own little sanctuary in nature. And if you feel like a swim, the beach is just a short walk below. The house itself is spotless and beautifully decorated with a mix of cozy country cottage charm and nautical touches. I especially loved how you can open all the windows and enjoy seamless indoor-outdoor living. There is so much light and fresh air throughout! I appreciated that the layout gives everyone a bit of privacy, and the beds and linens were incredibly comfortable. Martim and his brothers were so warm, responsive, and helpful. They really made us feel at home. Thank you for such a relaxing and special birthday trip!

Sintra is a magical destination. So many people make it a day trip from Lisbon and, in so doing, miss out on the heart of this community. We were thrilled that Hugo and Laura provided this opportunity for us to more fully explore this amazing place. Their Casa das Rosas is exactly as described, very compact and usable. It takes a little getting used to the arrangement of floors with bedroom and shower on the top floor and bathroom and kitchen two floors below, but it works. Laura and Hugo are most gracious hosts and we received very clear instruction regarding parking, entry, use of space and departure. The welcome gifts were much appreciated as well. Great shower! Well equipped kitchen. We would recommend this place to anyone who is OK with climbing stairs.

We had a wonderful stay at Carlos’s place! The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Carlos was a thoughtful and responsive host, and we especially appreciated the lovely fruit basket waiting for us when we arrived such a kind and welcoming touch. We had a great experience with Diogo's house. The house is very well planned, beautiful and cozy. We were very well received, with quality bed linen and towels.

The house is perfect, huge and very modern! There is an outdoor space that is great for drinking coffee. There is a park in front and it is close to the center of Cascais (7 min by car). D. Maria is very friendly and attentive!

A perfect escape! What an incredible discovery! From the moment we arrived, we felt the peace and tranquility we were looking for so much. The place is a true oasis of serenity, ideal for those who need to escape the frenetic rhythm of the city. Our two pets also loved the garden and the ample space for jogging and play! The accommodation was impeccably clean and decorated with very good taste - simple but elegant. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare delicious meals without major problems. The swimming pool was undoubtedly the highlight of our stay. Crystal clear water at perfect temperature, surrounded by comfortable lounge chairs and lush vegetation! The hosts were extremely attentive, welcomed us with great sympathy and were always available when we need to, but fully respecting our privacy. We're already planning our next visit. This place has earned a special place in our hearts!

Bridgett's place was perfect for our needs and we liked the suburban feel. Bridgett kept a parking space right outside which is handy. Great having a washing machine and outdoor space to dry it. Being a semi basement/ground floor apartment it is cool though does have a slight odor of humidity, although I'm asmatoc and it didn't affect me. We just kept the exterior door open when in. it is spacious and the kitchen was great. We couldn't locate any washing powder or dishwasher tabs, so we hand washed the dishes and bought our own washing powder. Most people don't travel with either so was a little inconvenient. Only other thing to mention is the access is quite steep - its a ramp, not steps, which is a bit easier for luggage. I wouldn't recommend it for older people or those with any significant mobility issues. There are three great restaurants within 50m walk. We loved Cascais, drove in and parked when we wanted to visit but the bus is very close by.

This was such a lovely place to stay. The Airbnb was beautiful, clean and had anything and everything we could possibly need. João was super friendly and quick to respond. He had many great recommendations as well! The neighborhood was safe, peaceful and had everything in walking distance! We would love to come back again someday and will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Marie's place is in a fantastic location, close to restaurants and cafes and the beach was no more than two minutes' walk away. Despite this perfect location, the accommodation was incredibly quiet. The accommodation is spacious with loads of storage and an exceptionally well appointed kitchen if one wanted to cook although why would you when there are so many great places to eat close by. If we were in Cascais again, would we stay at Marie's place? The answer is a definite yes.

Excellent apartment in beautiful gardens. The view of the Jacaranda from the balcony terrace was wonderful. The terrace had nice cooling breezes as its on the hill. Easy access to Cashcais Station by Uber (approx 4 EUR) for travel in to Lisbon. Mafalda was very responsive and helpful when I needed medical assistance. We had a great stay.

What a wonderful place, what wonderful people, what a place and wonderful location. Silencio, tranquility, cozy. Dna Ricarda and his Mother Dna Jacinta. Next to it had a wonderful lunch at the Recreational Society, and there we met the managers of the place, Ana and Sandra. Wonderful service and wonderful food. I remembered my grandfather for the food he served. Note 1000.

The hosts couldnt have been more communicative! So helpful and clear and gave us lots of good recommendations. Grounds were lovely, as was the apartment. The actual neighborhood on the port side was ok, the other side was nicer. So nice to have the nespresso coffee pods and sugar for the mornings. 5 out of 5

Daniel is an incredible host! We arrived very late in the evening and he was so kind to meet us at that hour to show us all the amazing features of the home. His home is gorgeous! We made great use of the gym, sauna, hot tub and cold plunge, which is as an extra special highlight! City center and restaurants are a short drive away. Daniel’s restaurant recommendations were very helpful. Would absolutely stay again if we are ever in Portugal again. Thanks for making our stay so wonderful.

The apartment is lovely, clean, well-equipped, and even more spacious than expected. The location is close to bustling neighborhoods, but the building itself is very peaceful and quiet. Would definitely stay here again!

This was a great spot for a first visit to both Cascais & Portugal. Everything was walkable, but peaceful. Downtown Cascais (25 min walk) is pretty, but busy even in late May so (boring that I am) I was glad to be farther away. The winner was the green view from the balcony every morning with coffee. The swing chair was a big hit with the teenage kids. The other winner is the ocean side walk nearby...straight to Cascais or minutes to Giua cafes & restaurants which offer some extraordinary outdoor eating venues ($$). Also Cafe Ophelia nearby was sweet. The green space out back & the pool will no doubt work well for younger kids. Maria was a very friendly & engaged host. Tip: Lidl grocery store is an easy 8 min walk & carries a surprising array of good quality, cheap fresh baked breads & sweet pastries.

Well-maintained and clean accommodation 15 min walk from downtown and the nearest beach, well organized and easy to access. I highly recommend it!

We were warmly welcomed by Vera. She showed us the apartment and pointed out everything. Everything was clean and tidy. She also gave tips for the area. The apartment is located on the 3rd floor of an apartment building. There is direct parking in front of it. Vera was super accessible. It takes 25 minutes to walk from the apartment to the train station and the Atlantic Ocean. In front of the house is also a bus stop. From here you can easily reach Sintra and Lisbon. We did almost everything with UBER. There were 4 of us here. 2 adults and 2 children. Around the corner is a grocery store Pingo Doce with bakery.
