Hotel holiday rentals in Alappuzha

Varun’ place was a well-run small hotel right on the shore of the backwaters in Kerala. There was a pool, many different areas to relax with a book. Canoes were available to paddle down stream. Varun was very helpful in arranging transportation for us, recommending activities and pointing us in the direction of a special art biennale which happened to be taking place in Kochi while we were there. The restaurant had a nice blend of Indian, continental with vegetarian options. We are planning on staying here on our next trip and highly recommend it. Gregory and Michèle

Female travelling alone in India and fear not, the people here made me feel so safe and welcome. The constantly smiling cleaning lady , Edison for his amazing knowledge, Prakash for tending to everything & helping me plan my trip to Munnar, and the chef, my god the food was amazing!!! I wrote down the recipes for almost everything I ate ♥️ Would love to bring my family next time:) 🇮🇳♥️🙏

The place is a really nice place and the location is good as well. Ravi was very helpful even before we arrived and organized a driver for us.

Had a pleasant stay

Kosygin was very responsive, kind and engaging. We arrived quite late but he still took the time to make us some food. Very relaxing atmosphere situated in a beautiful area amidst the backwaters.

As I was taking my young kids to India for the first time, I was apprehensive, especially since it was the rainy season in Kerala. David made our stay easy to coordinate and was helpful in all aspects. The peaceful area and quiet surroundings are a great location to unwind and plan other trips within the country, as was our case. David and his wife made us feel at home and were always cordial, quick to answer our questions, and always available. I would return to David's place and highly recommend it to anyone. An fantastic location.

Fantastic ambience with a spacious balcony. Suite room attached with club room which have more area like our home. Well maintained and clean rooms. Friendly staff. Restaurant food was nice. Wish to stay here whenever I come to kochi. Perfect couple friendly 4 star hotel. Really loved and enjoyed the stay there for 2 days. Thanks for the host.

Our stay with David has left a permanent mark on us. Situated in a village outside of Alleppey, it is peaceful and full of wildlife wherever you set foot in the grounds. We stayed for our honeymoon and had the best time. The place is beautiful and we loved the design of the room we stayed in, with exceptional linen and stylish decor. The surrounding facilities are great, with a peaceful veranda to eat from (and great for birdspotting too, with kingfishers, cormorants, egrets all available to see). The food is genuinely exceptional, with lots of variety and tasty and fresh. David as a host went above and beyond in all scenarios, whether that be helping arrange bicycles for us, resolving our beer cravings (!), arranging a cooking class, or coming to the rescue when we had a medical emergency that needed resolving. He is incredibly personable and warm and meeting him was a personal highlight of our three week trip in India. If you are looking for a special stay, do stay here.

One of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed at. David and his team treat you like family, making sure every need is met. The food is exceptional—so good you might leave with a few extra pounds! Each room has its own unique story, and the space is beautifully designed. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to immerse themselves in nature.

it's a great place to hangout. lovely huge sitout in front of back waters. 80s styled house and a beautiful portico. best place for all types and also superb place to do some really nice reels.

Joseph, Neetu along with Aria and Ramesh were top-notch hosts. The property is brand new but full of traditional decor and architecture. We were the only guests and the hospitality was brilliant. The rooms are large, bright, and the attached verandah is a great plus. They are working on a large swimming pool also. They serve food cooked in the house kitchen (need to order in advance) and it's of really good quality and the breakfast is quite a spread. The beach is about 10 mins walk and very quiet, and just few mins drive away there are some grocery stores. The road from Kochi to this area is quite good too. The only disappointment was the ayurvedic centre they suggested to us as it was cheaper than the resorts around this location but the place wasn't very good value for money. They are working on finding alternative arrangements though. Overall, highly recommend this for the amazing hospitality and the quality of rooms and food.
