Lake house holiday rentals in Alabama

Probably one of the best places I have ever stayed for the weekend. A big group of us stayed here, and the home exceeded our expectations in every way—incredible place.

Perfect place to get away and relax! The thunderstorms canceled our swimming and dock sitting but the big covered back porch and tin roof made it very enjoyable. The house was very clean and spacious. We had a total of 8 adults and everyone felt like they had plenty of space. Also, the hosts were very friendly and responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

Sherri's place on Lay lake was very nice, matched pictures well. I didn't stay long enough to enjoy the kayaks, but did spend good quality time on the rear deck, which was excellent. Area was very quiet. My only dissapointment was that the recommended restaurant was closed, I believe due to a loss of power from storms. Home was outfitted with everything one would need, especially a larger group.

The house was absolutely beautiful. Our family enjoyed it so much. The kids loved the zipline and enjoyed the pool. Our family caught some fish too!!!! After the storm we are glad the house had the emergency generator. This just made it easier to see that the house is fully equipped with any amenities that you could need to make sure any guest has a pleasant stay.

Carey saved the day! We arrived at another rental and it did not live up to the photos or expectations. I reached out and immediately she responded and we were able to Che k in just minutes later. The home is the perfect mix of luxury and comfort. Very clean and in such a nice quiet area. Can’t recommend this home enough! We will be back!

Beautiful view, easy lake access and the pool was lovely. Would definitely stay again. Great price as well. Be prepared for it to be buggy in the summer, such is a lake house. Cozy beds and couches. Only complaint is that maybe a dresser in the room with the twin beds would be nice. No where to put clothes away! Highly recommend Daniels place at Mallard Pointe. Enjoyed the steak restaurant and the Marina restaurant. Was a nice girls weekend and I'd love to go back with my family and rent a pontoon!!

My family of eight stayed the first week of June. We love Airbnb since we are a big family. Jeb’s place looked too good to be true from the pictures and description. It is so much better though. The location is perfect. The pool is huge and very accessible. The lake is right there and Jeb provided everything we needed to be able to get out on the lake. As for the house it provided everything we needed. Lots of space for everyone, love that there are plenty of bathrooms. We truly enjoyed our time here and have already agreed when we come back to Lake Martin we would love to stay here again.

This place is one of our favorites, our second trip here and it is a fantastic place. Clean, lots. of extras in the house, excellent views and easy to get to. Love the house and dock. Mr.Bill is very responsive if you need him (we did not need anything) Always checks on us to make sure our stay is going great. Great Host! We will return hopefully soon.

We had a great stay with room to spread out and great views. The home was furnished with everything we needed plus some- we even had a chance to sit around the fire pit for a while one night. Highly recommend!

The house is super cute and cozy. The pier is a little unstable and definitely not safe if you have small children (we didn’t, but just FYI). We caught a few gafftop and a black tip shark from the pier. It was a nice, quiet little getaway.

Very quiet neighborhood. Home was clean and very comfortable. Visiting family nearby so was a perfect location to relax. Will definitely consider returning to fish/play on the lake!

We cannot express in words how much we loved staying here! We spent a few days at the house unwinding, fishing, playing pool, and grilling. The house is cozy, the beds are comfortable, and the neighborhood is quiet. The neighbors were wonderful as well. We were put into contact with Brad at The Pointe and rented a pontoon. Highly recommend getting out on the lake if you have the time. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we hope to return!!

This was our Second time staying there and we’re just as satisfied the second time as we were the first. Very quiet and peaceful and clean. Would definitely recommend their place for a getaway!

Jim was very responsive when I messaged him. The house was super cozy. I cooked dinner for our second night stay and the kitchen was fully stocked with pots and pans so that made cooking a breeze. You can hear the creek outback as soon as you step out of your car. It was absolutely amazing for the price and I'm very thankful for the experience.

Great time at Robert’s place. We enjoyed every moment. We especially loved that back porch and the dock!!! Very nice neighbors. Very quiet and peaceful. Kids had fun on the dock catching some blue gills, yellow bellies and cat fish. Will definitely check availability again next time we visit our children.

We loved our stay at Josh and Leigh's place! There is a dedicated parking space right in front of the door to the villa. The well lit exterior made it easy to find. Simple to get inside using the keypad. The inside of the unit was very clean and well appointed with lots of storage. Huge closets and plenty of drawer space...great for those of us who love to unpack and be organized! The decor is a subtle mid century style that is beautiful and welcoming and comfortable. No clutter, just thoughtful touches and loveliness. Very peaceful setting!

Susan’s home was lovely and welcoming. Easy to get to compared to a lot of homes we have stayed in at Smith Lake. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed! Loved the extras like box fans bc we love a fan and most don’t provide those. Everything you would need in a kitchen with the bonus of condiments, plastic bags, aluminum foil, etc. the things you usually don’t have. Water bonuses too like sunblock, floats and life jackets. The bathrooms were modern and beautiful. We will be back to stay, hopefully this summer!

This house is beautiful beyond my dreams. It was exactly what my family needed. It had everything you would need for an extended stay. The house had plenty of linens and towels. Had plenty of cookware and dishes. We loved the board games provided. The screened in porch was the best part! I also love that a stair cover door has been installed. This is great if you have small children and don’t want them going downstairs. Amenities were as described. The dock area is great! ALSO the fan in the king size bedroom is AMAZING! I am one that has to sleep with a fan and not only was it great white noise but it also cooled the room very well.

I can't say enough great things about Phillip's lake house! My family, husband and two sons in their early 20's, absolutely loved every aspect of the place! The house looks just like the pictures, beautiful and comfortable. We felt right at home. The kitchen was gorgeous and modern, loved the Keurig and thanks for some pods! Same with dishwasher. Bathrooms were beautiful. Enough towels for everyone. Beds were comfy and large. The boys enjoyed the downstairs entertainment room and we all enjoyed air hockey and pool and basketball in the rec room. The lake was so peaceful and calming. We all loved sitting out on the huge deck and also on the huge lawn. So conducive to reading a good book! Smart TVs were great too. Phillip was SO responsive to my questions, thank you Phillip! Enjoyed exploring Birmingham and Leeds-the Buc Ees was awesome! Oxford and Pell City and Talladega were all fun to explore too. All in all, we couldn't have asked for a better vacation. Even my picky boys loved it!

Very well kept home in a beautiful area. Responsive host who provides all information necessary to help the beginning of your vacation go seamlessly. Also provided tidbits of information about the surrounding area.

out of all the places we've rented on the river, this place was my boys favorite! they absolutely live for fishing and I love to relax while they do it! perfect place for both! it was so clean and cozy! we will most definitely be staying there again.

Amazing is all I have to say. Will definitely be back again.
