This was simply the best experience we could wish for on our first visit to Luxor. The house itself is very spacious with super comfortable beds and an extremely well equipped kitchen. The outdoor spaces and the balconies are just divine with panoramic views across the Nile. The pool was the perfect temperature and a must after being out in the hot sun. The house is better than the photos. What really made our stay so amazing was the host Arlene, the Hotel staff next door and the most amazing taxi driver Ahmed...all of who could not do enough for you to make your stay the most comfortable and enjoyable it could be. The hotel food was delicious and very well priced for the huge amount you were served. There is also a small family run restaurant 'The Farmers House' just past Djorff Palace Hotel, where the food is incredible - Veggie option is the best! Thankyou Sayed, Osman and a MASSIVE Thankyou to Arlene and Ahmed, for making us feel like we had a second home in Luxor. WE WILL BE BACK!

The place is very quite and private. With a big terrace and beautiful garden with flowers and cat. Everything was clean and Hassan is very nice and friendly. Only walk for 10min to get to port, Highly recommend!!!

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour, la maison de Valerie est un vrai havre de paix. Nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison dès notre arrivée. La maison est fonctionnelle, très bien équipée, nous ne manquions de rien ( cuisine très bien équipée, fer à repasser etc….) Merci à Hagag qui nous a accueilli et a été au petit soin tout au long du séjour. Quartier très calme et reposant. Même si le logement ne se trouve pas le long du Nil, c’est à peine en 10 min à peine en Tuktuk. La piscine est un vrai plus, permet de surmonter les grosses chaleurs de Luxor.

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and the view was breathtaking. The pool was perfect — clean, relaxing, and a true highlight of the place. The area is peaceful and very safe, ideal for a relaxing vacation. What truly made our experience exceptional was the tour guide Ahmed. He took everything to another level — incredibly respectful, knowledgeable, and always made sure we had the best of everything: from delicious local food to unforgettable temple visits and a stunning Nile cruise. He truly made our trip 100 times better. Thank you for such an unforgettable experience — we’ll definitely be back!

Staying at Hannah & Ahmed’s beautiful villa was the highlight of our holiday. It’s such a tranquil spot with breathtaking views, my family and I loved being in a more rural location, and yet so close to ancient Egyptian history. We were made to feel very welcome, they gave us excellent recommendations on nearby restaurants and arranged a tuk tuk which was great fun. They made everything easy for us which added to a relaxing stay. The villa is spacious and stylish, it has everything you could wish for. The roof terrace is gorgeous, watching the hot air balloons with a cup of tea at sunrise was a magical moment and something I’ll never forget. I would 100% recommend staying here, you will love it.

Staying at Mons Villa was the highlight of my trip to Luxor. The villa itself is incredibly luxurious, nestled within a beautiful Nubian village that gives you a real sense of the local culture and warmth. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and elegant – with one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on! Mon, the host, was beyond welcoming. From the moment I arrived, he treated me like family – arranging airport pick-up and drop-off, and making sure everything ran smoothly. He also offers an amazing sunrise hot air balloon experience, which gave me a breathtaking view of the Valley of the Kings. What makes Mons Villa truly special is that Mon personally takes you to hidden gems in Luxor that you wouldn’t find in a typical tour. His hospitality, local knowledge, and attention to detail made this trip unforgettable. Thank you so much, Mon, for everything! I genuinely enjoyed every moment and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Luxor.

place was beautiful and sidsel was very helpful through and through. also shaaban was helpful as well. he gave us a lift from the Karnak temple and they both gave us good recommendations. also felluca tour they gave was perfect as well. if you rent this apartment you definitely try that as well. especially on the sunset. one drawback that I could find is; both sidsel and shaaban don't use Wh_tsApp. when we came, sidsel was out of the country so reaching to them was a bit hard time to time. they have phone numbers but sometimes they don't or couldn't pick up so there is that. for example I forgot my hat in the apartment but since I couldn't reach shaaban via call I had to left it there. nothing important really. just a side note

good safe area. short walk to restaurants, supermarket & ATM. 5 minute walk to marina to get water taxi to East side of Luxor.

Staying at Villa Adam was one of the best Arbnb experiences I have had. Fantastic views from the balcony and 2 rooftops, friendly atmosphere, barbeque on the rooftop, delicious coffee the host made were priceless. This property is well maintained. The location is probably the best in Luxor as it is in walking distance to food joints, stores, ferry, and historical landmarks. Thank you Adam for making my stay quiet memorable!

Hamdy is an amazing host! He made our stay a memorable one with the Felucca boat ride on the Nile with mint tea and a tasty breakfast in the morning. He is kind and has a great personality! I'd definitely recommend the Airbnb, it has a beautiful Nile River view, a nice pool area, beautiful garden and the apartments are spacious. Nice and quiet area, opposite of the East bank. A short walk to Banana Island as well.

Mohamed was an exceptional host. He made sure we were always safe, secure, and having fun. He was always available to coordinate anything from a hot-air balloon ride to ordering food. The location of this villa was perfect, as on the West Bank of Luxor, everyone is family, and all of the other villas and locals nearby will treat you as such. The villa looked exactly like the pictures. The pool was refreshing and the community garden was a pleasant touch. I recommend this villa to anyone looking to stay in Luxor, even if you're planning to visit the East Bank a ton. The East Bank is a completely different place, very hectic like Cairo, so this villa was the perfect peaceful retreat at the end of the day.

Mohammed was a very helpful and kind host. He will always make sure you’re okay. He brought us some bananas first night we stayed in. Which was very nice from him 🥹🥰 The place is located in the peaceful site of the city which makes the place a peaceful home. The swimming pool definitely is the star of the house. My little one enjoyed a lot. The only thing I will recommend to Mohammed is equipe the kitchen a little bit more. Maybe few more cutlery and fry pans will be helpful. Overall was a great place to stay in! Thank you very much.

No os perdáis el alojamiento. Tan agradable como preciso en los servicios que puede ofrecer ofrecer por el momento (tanto Carine como Alí están en proceso de ampliar y mejorar sus instalaciones). Localizado en un entorno rural, en el lado del Valle de las Reinas y de los Reyes (Luxor) es, sin duda un remando de paz y silencio egipcio. Los desayunos son excelentes de verdad y a un precio insuperable. Carine es un encanto de mujer, suiza, muy alegre y súper trabajadora. Sin duda un lugar para alojarse cuando vayáis a visitar a Luxor, Karnak, el Valle de las Reinas, el Valle de los Reyes, el de los Artesanos, etc., a un precio y limpieza insuperable. Badawi promptly responded to my advance questions re: the best time to arrive, how I can go to his listing to check in, how he can show me where to go for shopping and food, how I can have my things sent to me, how my rental is private, how he will let the employees know not to bother me, and anything else I needed such as the wonderful free breakfast, WiFi, etc. When my plane landed, I texted Badawi as we discussed prior to my arrival, and he gave me clear directions on how to take the taxi to the ferry with the few things I had brought on the plane, then met me at the ferry dock, carried my things to his car, and chauffeured me the rest of the beautiful way to the rental. The place was better than expected. Rarely have I felt so at home!! He had a working refrigerator with some welcome fruit in it, showed me how to open the balcony doors for air or just sunshine, and then let me stay in peace unless I needed anything, at which time he responded very well and professionally.

My family had a great stay at Ineke and Azzab's place. West bank location allowed us to explore a more relaxed side of town, but still had plenty of walkable restaurant options. Super helpful in setting us up with a very good tour guide and hot air balloon. The house came with staff for transportation and breakfast (both cost extra, but well worth it for our family) that were excellent, helpful, and welcoming. Place was clean, secure, and comfortable with all the amenities we could need.

Nous avons été chaleureusement accueilli par Elaine et Mahmoud dans leur maison. l appartement est tres confortable, tres propre et bien equipe: climatisation lave linge etc.. tout correspondait a la description. la deco interieur et la vue sur le charme de Al Bairat fut reposant et nous invite a la contemplation. Le service sur place, l écoute et la bienveillance fut à la hauteur de nos attentes. Mahmoud a été au petit soin avec nous pour nous faire découvrir la culture locale, l histoire de la région de Luxor , et sans compter les belles surprises du matin avec un petit déjeuner dans un village qui nous a littéralement charme. We had a great time at Abdul’s place! It was a gorgeous part of Luxor and Abdul was very friendly and helpful. He is well-connected in the local community and has great recommendations for activities, and he is very knowledgeable about Egyptian history.
