We were a group of 4 people with a kid. The stay was very nice. The landlords were always available for communication. They even offered tips for sightseeing.

This was a great place to stay to get away from the city and to enjoy nature. The house was very welcoming and I loved sitting on the front porch to drink coffee in the mornings. It is a 40-minute transit via ferry to Oslo, which is fun and relaxing. You can also walk 5 minutes down to the water and relax in the lawn or the sand. 10/10 experience!

Fantastic place and Eva and Hans were nice hosts. The cabin was located in their beautiful and peaceful garden where we easily found peace. So cozy with the chickens strolling around the garden. Well-equipped cabin and very good bed. Recommended!

Loved the place. Beautiful little house with character. 5 of us stayed and it was comfortable. Host was amazing. Showed the house around and set up the heating etc. The boat was an added bonus. Children had a great time. Just a shame the weather wasn’t the best but we made the most of it.

Great place for the 2 nights we needed during the days we were working nearby. Above it is small, but that was known and sufficient for us. Everything is present, the beds were made. A nice nostalgic stuga!

everything was perfect. the owners are fantastic, the accommodation offers a unique experience. magnificent view of the fjord and perfect harmony with the life it offers. highly recommended

Peaceful and idyllic surroundings, with views from the kitchen over the forest and vegetable garden. Charming decor and the place was experienced as clean and tidy. Helle was also welcoming with check-in time and gave clear instructions on how to get there. When we arrived late at night, the host put out lanterns to show us the way through the garden, which we appreciated. The price is somewhat high given the remote location, but you get peace in return. There is a spinning top and a low bed on the floor, but it works as long as you are aware of it. Thank you for staying in a cozy little place :)

Perfect place for a stopover in Norway! We spent a lovely night by the lake; we got extremely lucky with the weather and could enjoy a sunny barbecue on the terrace and a gorgeous sunset. Ragni and Gunnar Martin were great hosts – super communicative and friendly, and they even let us use their amazing garden for our dog Paulie to run around freely while they were out, after a long day in the car. He was in heaven! The surroundings and view from the guest house are beautiful. Highly recommended!

The place is located in forest, with peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Lovely birdsong everywhere when you open the door. Perfect for silence and forest walks. No traffic. Cozy sitting area outside the guesthouse. We were on one class all day so only used the place to sleep. Worth noting that bathrooms are located in the main house (not the guest house). The main house is right next to it and feels like an extension of the guesthouse. The hosts were very friendly, accommodating and wonderful to get help with the dishes; we really appreciated that.

Eric and Gitta's cottage suited us just fine. It was self-contained, located in a lovely garden within a semi-forested setting, and private with all the facilities we needed.

This place is a true harmony. It was lovely to wake up every day to the sounds of nature and the view of the lake. The house is so charming and cozy, and the surroundings are even better. Erik and his wife are great hosts and have been very hospitable and always available. We can highly recommend this place.

Pretty amazing little triplex with: 1st Floor: An entrance 2nd floor: dining room, kitchen and bathroom 3rd floor: a small bedroom under the attic. The apartment is connected to the owners house even if it remains independent. However, the partitions are hardly thick. And the big bonus: the great view of Oslo Bay!

very nice experience, welcoming host, sociable but lets you do your own thing. outdoor sleeping area is awesome. the views are beautiful and comfortable bed. the area of Oslo is the new, smart area. you have to travel out a bit from there to get more 'quirky' things. extremely clean. thank you

The check-in was a bit complicated, as the cleaning lady was not informed that I was checking in an hour earlier. The cleaning staff gave me a code for the door, but didn't tell me where to enter it. The input field is not intuitive, it was hidden on the door handle. Therefore, I had difficulty finding it. The accommodation was clean, furnished with love, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom and kitchen very modern. I had a nice stay and would come back.

Nice room with a lot of space. Kitchen and bathroom are shared with multiple rooms, but never a problem. Well connected by metro to the centre. Great value

I loved the experience I had at Camilla’s house. People are amazing there, I had such a peaceful time while being there, also had fun! Absolutely recommended, it’s literally 2 minutes away from the metro by foot. Highly suggest to stay here!!

We were initially a bit skeptical after reading some of the reviews, but we ended up pleasantly surprised. The house has several rooms and other guests, but everyone was quiet and respectful, which made for a comfortable stay. While Camilla was away and slow to respond, someone was managing the place on her behalf and was very helpful. The shared kitchen was clean, and the atmosphere was friendly. If you're traveling on a budget and don’t mind a more basic, non-updated room, this place is a good choice.

The room was very comfortable; I slept well. Really appreciated the proximity to public transport and being able to leave my luggage in the house before my evening flight.

Leona and Petter are very welcoming and communication with them was quick and easy. Their place is clean, comfortable, and furnished with everything needed for an enjoyable stay (including some bonus astonishing sunsets which flood the house with light). There is an artisan bakery within walking distance as well as a well-stocked supermarket. For those who prefer to stay locally and relax the fjord is lovely of course, but a very short ride to Son train station will then take you to the Oslo Central Station and all the world-class attractions this city offers.
