Antonio is a fantastic host. Super responsive and very helpful especially with recommendations for local walks and for helping with animal health certificate requirements for returning to the UK. The house was big enough for the 11 of us and there was plenty for all of us to do for the whole week we were there. Any issues we had were resolved incredibly quickly by Antonio. Just a short walk from the house is a lovely little cafe that sells baguettes, coffee and some alcohol - very reasonably priced but please note only takes cash which caught us out on our first visit. We visited Balmaseda a couple of times which has an incredible bakery which I would very much recommend. The train station is less than 5 minutes walk but we didn’t get the train whilst we were there - it may have been quicker to get to bilbao and something to check out if you visit again. We had a lovely 4 nights at Maria, enjoying relaxing at the beautiful terrace and jacuzzi. Would love to come back again!

All aspects of the stay were perfect. We were 5 young couples spending the weekend. Elena took care to make clear everything we could do and how we could take advantage of the time. She was also attentive in case we had any improvises. The house is perfect if you are looking to feel at home. Renovated and at the same time with original details of the house. A 10/10.

One of my best experiences ever . Irati was absolutely superb from start to finish an excellent communicator and nothing was too much bother . The cottage was delight ful and the scenery was amazing . She even organised our taxi in and out of the city not to mention booking our tables at the restaurants we ate in . Out of 10 I would give her 11

Great place and very accommodating

From the second I booked the beautiful villa in Sunbilla with Carmen and José, they took great care of advising with best activities, supporting with arrival and providing a wonderful clean home with all necessary amenities. We especially loved the restaurant elotxuri and the lake in natural reserve. We would love to come back when the pool is open next time. Thank you Carmen and José!

There were 6 of us and the house was wonderful, the best Airbnb I've stayed in so far and more for the price. Spacious, modern, cozy house with impeccable decoration. Very well equipped with more than necessary to be very comfortable. The patio area is very good and we even had a barbecue. I would definitely stay here again. Wow, what great house. The location is absolutely stunning in a little village with beautiful mountain views. The house itself is great—they’ve done a great job renovating and the whole thing feels very new and fresh and clean. A perfect place for a peaceful escape. Great communication as well. I would definitely stay here again.

Listing is very nice, as described. It is very well equipped with quality equipment. Sharon is a very responsive host and onsite Matteo is also available. The house is located on a lot with other gites but everyone has their own privacy. We will be back!

The place and its host, they deserve the best of ratings. The house is very tastefully decorated and energy efficient. The village is very quiet so ideal place for rest. Burgos is very close and there is a line bus stop near the house. In Atapuerca you can walk along the Camino de Santiago. As soon as we can, we'll do it again.

We had a great stay at this house. It is spacious and very well equipped, nicely furnished and it is pleasant to stay there. The garden is beautiful and we enjoyed it, the covered terrace allows you to eat outside even when it rains. The host is very friendly and accommodating.

The house has all the necessary amenities, the cleanliness is impeccable and the location of the house has stunning views. The area has many possibilities for sightseeing and nature walks. Arantxa was very nice and was always available for our questions and showed flexibility at check-in time. We'll save it in favorites and hope to return soon

Excellent stay of 4 days with friends in this house for the Biarritz half marathon. Sébastien is a great host, always very responsive and very flexible on arrival and departure times when possible. The house is as described, no surprises. I would recommend it without a second thought!

A home that feels like home. Juan Manuel was very kind and attentive, and helped us with everything we needed. Eskuernaga is a very beautiful town that can be easily explored in a short time. There was a bottle of wine from Juan Manuel's winery to welcome us, thank you very much 😊

Wonderful environment and a very cozy house, very large, with fireplace and gallery. Everything was very clean, a bathroom in each room and it was beautifully decorated. The ceilings with wooden beams are spectacular. The deal with Txomin was super friendly and left us eggs, bread and homemade pacharán as a welcome gift.

It's been a great stay at Iñigo's place. We felt right at home. It has everything you need to spend a few days with your family. It is suitable for traveling with friends, as a family, with young children. Great views, a very bright, spacious and comfortable house, a fireplace that provides extra comfort. A very quiet but easily accessible area. Iñigo has been pending and accessible for anything we need. Very good host, he has shared suggestions of places to visit, where to eat... I cannot recommend this house enough! We were there as a group of 8 for a week long climbing trip. Lerate is pretty central to the crags in the area (particularly close to Etxauri and San Fausto) so location wise the house was great. You are also a short walk from the lake which is stunning and great for a swim. There isn’t much by way of restaurants etc nearby, although the camp site has a good bar and does good quality basic meals with friendly service. The house itself is really well equipped for a big group and the listing describes everything accurately. Only thing it didn’t have was a kettle (not on the listing so it wasn’t missing) so we bought a cheap one as we are a bunch of tea drinkers! Overall, we had a really great stay and may well be back in the future.
