Family-friendly holiday rentals in Agia Marina

My friend and I stayed at the accommodation for 5 days and were very satisfied with our stay. The apartment is on the ground floor of a beautiful modern house. The apartment was very well equipped, there was nothing missing. The beautiful terrace with whirlpool is worth highlighting. The location is great. It is about 15 minutes by car to the center of Chania. Several beaches are within walking distance. The house itself is in a quiet location. It offers a good starting point for exploring Crete. Katerina and her husband are great hosts. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a fresh Greek salad, oranges, and wine. A few days later, we received fresh vegetables from the garden. Katerina was always available and very friendly. We felt very comfortable. Overall, we would recommend the accommodation! 5/5 stars!

Our stay in Chania was wonderful. The apartment is very spacious and the outdoor areas are beautiful. Ioanna was very accessible and friendly.

Great stay, great location, great views. Very close to many bars and restaurants. Not too noisy at night. The only slightly negative aspect was the shower. Basically made the entire floor flooded. Overall, i would recommend the place and would definitely return.

Hidden gem! Loved this home, literally two minute walk to Golden Beach. Katerina is so sweet (she met us in-person, had local restaurant recommendations, and even provided a bottle of wine). The home was perfect for our group of 6 (great value for the money, too). Would 100% come again!

What a wonderful house! We were surprised to be so close to 2 lovely beaches, great hikes and a delicious restaurant. We’re a family with 3 young kids and they loved the swing, swinging bench, jacuzzi, space to play inside. Dimitris left a baby crib, high chair, and toddler potty for us which was super helpful. The best was Dimitris was very kind upon greeting us late at night when we arrived.

A lovely, luxury appartment near the beach and about 30 minutes' walk from the old town of Chania. A well-equipped, clean and beautiful appartment, but above all the warm and friendly hostess Anastasia. She guided us around the area, brought local delicacies, stocked the fridge with food and even drove us to the grocery store with her car. We really enjoyed our stay at the appartment and can wholeheartedly recommend it to others. You certainly wont't be disapointed!

Great experience!! We stayed at this wonderful Airbnb and our expectations were really exceeded. The place was spotless, comfortable and very well cared for – but what really made the difference was the staff. From the first moment, we were greeted with kindness, a smile and authentic hospitality. They were always available for whatever we needed, willing to help with joy and good mood. You didn't just feel like a visitor – you felt like a guest! The feeling of warmth and respect they showed us made our stay truly unforgettable. Such service is rare and deserves to be recognized. We had a perfect stay at Dimitra’s beautiful house. She was super responsive, helpful, and friendly. The house is spotless and has all the amenities you need. The location is peaceful and secluded but also easy to get to nearby restaurants and beaches. We wished we could spend the whole summer here!

Cannot overstate what a great experience this was, thanks to the atmosphere of the place and to Giannis's kind and attentive hosting. Beautiful accommodation on 3 floors, with indoor and outdoor spaces. We were in the heart of the lively Old Town, yet felt private and quiet at night. Ideal base from which to explore western Crete.

There will not be enough superlatives to describe this place. The location overlooking the Venetian Harbor was amazing. The house is historic, beautiful and has all the amenities you will want. You literally won't believe the large rooftop deck with crazy views. The house had lots of interesting things to read, lots of space for a large group and it was stocked with maps and guidebooks. The neighborhood is completely safe. The in-person welcome from the hosts contained some really thoughtful surprises (you will need to find out yourself - I won't ruin the surprise welcome.). The apartment is as it appears in the photos, the terrace is huge, very cool, comfortable for breakfast, lunch or dinner watching the sea. Costas was always available, and left us a basket of fruit, muffins and chocolates. The area is fantastic to spend a few days and get to know part of the island. It is a tourist area but very quiet and comfortable, next to the beautiful town of Chania, which is wonderful and from the apartment you can walk a beautiful one-hour walk. By car it is less than 10 minutes and by bus that stops next to the house. Everything was very comfortable. The beach is also nice and the winged one is very beautiful.

The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. The place was super clean and everything well maintained. Just felt right at home with an amazing view, great beds and a beautiful atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Fantastic Villa for our family party. Spacious, well equipt and with lovely pool and view. There are nice (and inexpensive restaurants within walking distance too). Neighbourhood was peaceful. We felt very much at home, mainly due to the fantastic hosting. Georgia and Andreas are so friendly. Cheerful , beautiful people. They want to make every part of the stay special. Thank you both! ❤️

This place was super cute and very convenient in a area in town that is close to everything but not loud at night and less touristy. I would definitely recommend it and he was very responsive as a host. Every time I call he was there right away and answered right away. The place is also very attractive.

Wonderful Experience at the Villa Elias! Our stay at the villa was perfect. The sea view was breathtaking, especially during sunset – a true sense of calm, quiet, and complete privacy. Choosing this villa was an excellent decision, especially because of the heated pool, which the kids absolutely loved. They enjoyed both swimming and playing in the spacious garden. The villa is well-equipped, with many useful items that made our stay very comfortable, including an air pump for pool toys. The location is also great – close to shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. We had a wonderful stay that was far too short at Georgios's. Its studios are very comfortable, located in a peaceful place and environment. The decoration is done with great taste and the small kitchen is a real asset for making meals on site. The beds are comfy and the nights are very quiet. The beach, restaurants and small shops are within walking distance. Georgios is very welcoming while remaining discreet. The pool is superb and pleasant when returning from a hike. Nassos's was a great host, provided link and websites to use for bookings. Was always responsive and also accommodate all my requests at his best. We did not stay long to use the pool, but have to say one of the best looking and cleanest pool I have seen in Crete!

We were in this wonderful accommodation for 9 days. It was just a dream. Surrounded by a small holiday home park. From the location in this park, the house was simply perfect. The property is very private and the arrangement of the pool and the loungers also offer maximum privacy. In the house itself, you will find everything you need. Only the equipment in the kitchen (dishes, cutlery and cookware) could use an upgrade. Although it is available in sufficient quantity, it is unfortunately of poor quality. Some of the knives and forks are already quite bent due to the low material thickness. But that's the only criticism. The pool in the accommodation is simply wonderful. It is also as stated purely for private use and is cleaned every morning. A piece of luxury to cool off whenever you want. We really enjoyed the time and would like to thank Stamatis for the great communication.

We had the best time staying at Tanja’s amazing studio. From the second we arrived, we were struck by the beautiful landscape of flowers and orange trees. The pool and patio were so peaceful and the studio was incredible clean and accommodating. The highlight of the stay was Tanja’s excellent recommendations of beaches, tavernas, and excursions. She was both incredibly friendly and communicative. We’d definitely stay again.

A great stay in a well-located spot – close to everything, yet peaceful and not too central. Situated right on the waterfront with its own sun beds. Good facilities and an apartment with a good standard made for a very pleasant stay.
