Family-friendly holiday rentals in Agia Marina

Mein Freund und ich waren 5 Tage in der Unterkunft und waren sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung ist im Erdgeschoss eines schönen modernen Hauses. Die Wohnung war sehr gut ausgestattet, es fehlte an nichts. Hervorzuheben ist die schöne Terrasse mit Whirlpool. Die Lage ist super. Es sind circa 15 Minuten Autofahrt bis zum Zentrum Chanias. Mehrere Strände sind fussläufig zu erreichen. Das Haus selbst ist ruhig gelegen. Es bietet einen guten Ausgangspunkt, um Kreta zu erkunden. Katerina und ihr Mann sind tolle Gastgeber. Bei Ankunft erwartete uns ein frischer griechischer Salat, Orangen und Wein. Wir bekamen ein paar Tage später frisches Gemüse aus dem Garten. Katerina war stets erreichbar und sehr freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Insgesamt würden wir die Unterkunft weiter empfehlen! 5/5 Sterne!

Unser Aufenthalt in Chania war wunderbar. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und die Aussenbereiche wunderschön. Ioanna war sehr gut erreichbar und freundlich.

Great stay, great location, great views. Very close to many bars and restaurants. Not too noisy at night. The only slightly negative aspect was the shower. Basically made the entire floor flooded. Overall, i would recommend the place and would definitely return.

Hidden gem! Loved this home, literally two minute walk to Golden Beach. Katerina is so sweet (she met us in-person, had local restaurant recommendations, and even provided a bottle of wine). The home was perfect for our group of 6 (great value for the money, too). Would 100% come again!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Kedria! Along with the amazing view of Chania and Souda, the house was incredibly beautiful, clean, and provided everything we needed for our stay in Chania. The hosts were extremely hospitable and responded to every question and request promptly. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was an extension of their home. They provided all of the necessary baby gear and essentials for our little one, who also had a great time enjoying the pool. We’ve never had more caring and responsive hosts. They gave us so many travel tips and food recommendations that made our stay here in Chania one of our most memorable vacations. HIGHLY recommend staying here!

Staying here has set my expectations of Cretan hospitality in my mind hereafter. I spent nearly two weeks here and I couldn't have asked for a better time in Crete. By the time we left, we had local businesspeople shouting our names down the street to say hello, there was always something to do in town or a new restaurant to try. Very close to beautiful upper Platanias, as well as the more touristy main strip and the beach. Very nice jumping off point to the western beaches like Falasarna or Elafonisos, Manousakis winery, Chania, and even did a long day to Knossos and back. Filled the time in between in the pool, which was very well kept, and never felt like we were crowding the place. We were allowed an early check-in after arriving on an early flight to Chania, and never struggled to find parking right next to the complex. I can not recommend this place highly enough and cannot put into words how hard it was to leave.

Wir haben 3 wunderschöne Wochen in Manos House verbracht, das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße, es hat einen sehr schönen Garten in dem man wunderbar verweilen kann, nur wenige Gehminuten vom Strand und den Restaurants entfernt. Abends haben wir bei einem Glas Wein auf dem Balkon gesessen auf und den Sonnenuntergang genossen. Stavros ist ein kleiner ruhiger Ort in dem man sehr schnell in den Urlaubsmodus kommt und die Zeit einfach nur genießen kann. Wir haben uns in dem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen bestimmt noch mal wieder.

A lovely, luxury appartment near the beach and about 30 minutes' walk from the old town of Chania. A well-equipped, clean and beautiful appartment, but above all the warm and friendly hostess Anastasia. She guided us around the area, brought local delicacies, stocked the fridge with food and even drove us to the grocery store with her car. We really enjoyed our stay at the appartment and can wholeheartedly recommend it to others. You certainly wont't be disapointed!

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in dem wunderschönen, traditionellen Haus. Wir liebten es! Es ist sehr geräumig, draußen wie wie drinnen gibt es viele Sitzmöglichkeiten. Alles ist sehr sauber und es waren sehr viele Extras vorhanden. Inmitten alter Olivenbäume konnten wir im Schatten entspannen und die Stille genießen. Der kleine Pool war perfekt für eine Erfrischung! Es gibt einige Restaurants, welche wir zu Fuß durch die griechische Landschaft erreichen konnten. Einige der schönsten Strände waren gut erreichbar. Viele Empfehlungen erhielten wir von der tollen Gastgeberin. Dimitra hatte uns herzlich empfangen und uns mit Köstlichkeiten versorgt. Sogar der Kühlschrank war mit kleinen Annehmlichkeiten gefüllt, sodass wir nach der Anreise Essen und Entspannen konnten. So einen großzügigen Empfang haben wir noch nicht erlebt. Wir können es sehr empfehlen und möchten wiederkommen!

Séjour très agréable chez Irène. Maison très bien située au milieu des oliviers et à proximité de beaucoup d endroits. Irène est une personne très accueillante, gentille, attentionnée.....nous avons eu droit à des petites spécialités en arrivant et en rentrant le soir.... je recommande grandement . Merci Irène

El apartamento es tal cual se ve en las fotos, la terraza es enorme, muy fresca, cómoda para desayunar, comer o cenar viendo el mar. Costas siempre estuvo disponible, y nos dejó una cesta de frutas, magdalenas y chocolatinas. La zona es fantástica para pasar unos días y conocer parte de la isla, es una zona turística pero muy tranquila y cómoda, alado del precioso pueblo de Chania, la Canea que es maravilloso y desde el apartamento se puede llegar andando con un precioso paseo de una hora, en coche son menos de 10 minutos y en autobús que para alado de casa también. Todo muy cómodo. La playa también está bien y la de alado es muy bonita.

Andreas und Georgia waren unglaublich gastfreundlich, hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar, wenn man Fragen hatte. Gleichzeitig haben sie einem aber auch alle Freiheiten gelassen. Besonders schön fand ich die kleinen persönlichen Aufmerksamkeiten, die den Aufenthalt wirklich besonders gemacht haben. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen und kann die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank für alles – ihr seid fantastische Gastgeber!

Absolutely beautiful location, 2 minute walk to the main Old Port area and tons of nice shops in the back streets.

This place was super cute and very convenient in a area in town that is close to everything but not loud at night and less touristy. I would definitely recommend it and he was very responsive as a host. Every time I call he was there right away and answered right away. The place is also very attractive.

Getting into the apartment was easy, Alkis had sent us photos for the lock box which was an easy guide to follow. During our stay Alkis gave us restaurant recommendations and went out of his way to order us taxis as well. The apartment was in a brilliant location, 1 minute walk to the beach and an array of restaurants. There is also a convenience store 1 min away, a bakery 2 mins away and then more restaurants plus a supermarket 5 mins away in the opposite direction of the beach. Inside the apartment you have everything you need, 2 big bedrooms with all important air con!!! Living room/dining room/kitchen area is big and spacious, again air-conditioning so made it a nice place to chill out and get a break from the sunshine. We had a great stay in the Apartment and already planning to return next year. Thank you Alkis.

Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war einwandfrei. Wir haben uns sehr über den vegetarischen Pie und alles andere, was er zur Verfügung gestellt hat, gefreut. Es gab frisches Obst, Tomaten etc. sehr zuvorkommend. Man kann vom Standort aus zahlreiche Ausflüge machen. Der Garten ist weitläufig. Es war alles tiptop. Vielen Dank an Ioannis, seiner Frau und vor allem seiner Mama für den sehr leckeren Pie!

Wonderful Experience at the Villa Elias! Our stay at the villa was perfect. The sea view was breathtaking, especially during sunset – a true sense of calm, quiet, and complete privacy. Choosing this villa was an excellent decision, especially because of the heated pool, which the kids absolutely loved. They enjoyed both swimming and playing in the spacious garden. The villa is well-equipped, with many useful items that made our stay very comfortable, including an air pump for pool toys. The location is also great – close to shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour bien trop court chez Georgios. Ses studios sont très confortables, situés dans un lieu et environnement apaisant. La décoration est faite avec beaucoup de goût et la petite cuisine est un vrai atout pour se faire des repas sur place. Les lits sont confortables et les nuits sont très calmes. La plage, les restaurants et des petits commerces sont accessibles à pied. Georgios est très accueillant tout en restant discret. La piscine est superbe et agréable en retour de randonnée. Nous avons regretté de ne pas rester plus longtemps chez Georgios. Sophie et Gilles

Sfeervol en comfortabel huis op een mooie plek met prachtig uitzicht. Even wennen aan het stijle weggetje er naartoe, maar dan heb je ook wat. 5 minuten rijden naar het strand en dorpje, maar ook te lopen (ca 15 min). Stamatis reageerde op elke vraag snel en zorgvuldig. jammer dat we elkaar niet ontmoet hebben, maar hij was erg bereikbaar. ik beveel deze plek zeer aan!

One of the best villas I’ve stayed in as it felt so homely, and the outside area is gorgeous. We all loved it! Nikolaos was an amazing host and was always recommending places to visit and days out for us to try. The pool cleaner was easy to use, just put it in first thing in the morning and it will clean for around 2 hours. As well, having the robotic lawn mower mow the lawn while we were there too was a nice feature. Nikolaos was always responsive and made us feel right at home, as well as even leaving local olive oil for us to take back with us from our trip! The local taverna just at the bottom of the villa was sensational, and I would really recommend trying as much of the food off of the daily cooked menu as possible. Would stay here again!

We hebben als gezin twee fantastische weken gehad in Villa Emanuelle. Het was een fantastisch verblijf waar met liefde en aandacht van de host alles tot in de puntjes verzorgd was. Altijd bereikbaar voor tips en bijzonder behulpzaam in de voorbereiding. Niets was te veel en zelf een gevulde koelkast bij aankomst. de Kreteense gastvrijheid in optima forma. Met recht een parel van een villa!

Nassos's was a great host, provided link and websites to use for bookings. Was always responsive and also accommodate all my requests at his best. We did not stay long to use the pool, but have to say one of the best looking and cleanest pool I have seen in Crete!

Absolutely amazing stay! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and even better than the photos – they truly don’t do it justice. Everything we needed was provided, and the little touches made it feel like home. The location was perfect – quiet, convenient, and close to everything we wanted to explore. Our host was incredibly responsive, kind, and thoughtful, making check-in a breeze and the whole stay stress-free. We had the best time staying at Tanja’s amazing studio. From the second we arrived, we were struck by the beautiful landscape of flowers and orange trees. The pool and patio were so peaceful and the studio was incredible clean and accommodating. The highlight of the stay was Tanja’s excellent recommendations of beaches, tavernas, and excursions. She was both incredibly friendly and communicative. We’d definitely stay again.
