Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Agia Effimia

We had a fabulous week staying in this wonderful property. It’s located near to some of the most beautiful coves and beaches there are in Kefalonia. The village is friendly and a local shop is a few minutes walk away. The actual property is fantastic. It’s beautiful, spacious, clean and homely. There is lots of sociable space to hang out in. Comfortable bedrooms. Clean everywhere and multiple spaces to eat outside and enjoy the forest and sea views. Maria’s communication was excellent. Very clear and very helpful. She was super responsive to any queries and a fantastic host. We would highly recommend this property.

An incredible villa. As others have said, the pictures do not do it justice. The outdoor areas are particularly ‘wow’. The infinity pool is spotless, and has incredible views out across Sivota bay. The loungers are so comfy, and the vine canopy idyllic. We spent many happy afternoons chilling around the pool, listening to music and reading books. The terrace is equally lovely, with the same fantastic views. And the addition of the BBQ and outdoor kitchen meant we could enjoy authentic home cooked fare as the sunset. A really magical place. Inside there’s everything you need; a well stocked kitchen, a hot shower, plentiful towels and very comfy beds. Plenty big enough for four adults. George was a great host - rapid to respond, very accommodating of requests, and friendly to a tee. Something he shares with his parents, who gave us the most special of welcomes on check in! Ho soggiornato 2 settimane, è una casa incantevole, con ogni confort, e tante anche inaspettate! È un alloggio accogliente , sembra davvero di essere a casa propria. La parte esterna è, secondo me, il cuore di tutto l'appartamento: ampio, comodo, con un divanetto , sedie e tavolini da esterno ed un divano che all occorrenza è un vero e proprio letto....la sera, solitamente ventilata è il posto ideale per rilassarsi dopo una giornata in giro per le spiagge della splendida Cefalonia. La casa è situata in un posto strategico della piccola Poros, tutto è a portata di mano, dalle spiagge, ai ristorantini, al centro.È un posto che mi è piaciuto davvero tanto! Vana è un host gentile, premurosa e presente, pronta a soddisfare e a risolvere nell' immediato qualsiasi dubbio o richiesta. Lo consiglierei a chiunque volesse trascorrere le vacanze in un ambiente al top!

Difficile trovare persone così gentili, Sofia ci ha accolto da subito nonostante avessimo cambiato l' ora di arrivo all' ultimo, ci ha fatto trovare drink e bibite di benvenuto e ci ha dato da subito molte informazioni su come muoverci nella zona. Ci ha prestato ombrellone da spiaggia quando ha saputo che andavamo in una spiaggia in cui c'è ne sarebbe stato bisogno e una mattina ci addirittura portato 2 fette di torta appena sfornata. Per quanto riguarda l' alloggio, fantastico! Tutto super pulito e il giardino era fresco e molto comodo per godersi il panorama e i tramonti che offriva la zona. Consigliatissimo!

We had the most wonderful stay with our two children. The house is perfect with so many amenities. All the appliances are high quality and basically brand new! We had everything we needed and more. The pool and bbq area is fantastic. The views beautiful. Location is private but easy to get to other locations. We loved visiting Sami and the Melissani Cave’s not to be missed. The host went above and beyond, always responsive and kind. We highly recommend the house and have already told family and friends about it!

I have stayed in many houses and met many hosts. But I can confidently say that Petros and Maria are best hosts I have ever met! Continuously trying to help their guests, all requests and questions are responded with a big smile, understanding, empathy and compassion. The moment we stepped inside the house they made us feel like we are part of their family. The house is based inside an olive tree farm and the land is shared with 3 more houses. There are lovely animals around, dogs and cats… We just loved it! Every time you come home you’ll have Malou (the cutest dog I’ve ever seen) cheering your arrival! The internet in the island is a bit slow but there is nothing that can be done. Petros even brought another router to help us! It is related with the island. I miss the farm already!

Stefanos' place was amazing! beyond great communication, a clean apartment, many amenities and a great location the place felt like home. Stefanos also provided us with extra recommendations on things to do and see which were very helpful. We would definitely stay there again!

Villa Amoudia was perfect for our needs. The Villa was exactly as described in the photos and details, and the location was ideal; close to village, great views and peaceful. The host Barbara was very friendly and responsive. We are thinking of returning!

Alexandra and the team are wonderful, responsive and friendly. the space and the pool is clean and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything we needed. the wifi was fast and the beds were so comfortable. well worth the price. karavamylos is a beautiful little town. can't recommend enough!

The hosts were so lovely and helpful. They very kindly gave us a welcome hamper of food for our first morning and gave us early check-in and late check-out. They even gave us a hamper with nappies and some supplies for the baby which was so kind and thoughtful. The villa is beautiful, clean and is even nicer than the photos can show. We hired a car as there isn't a huge amount in the immediate area but it's so peaceful and it's really easy to get taxi's if you don't have a car. We will definitely book again on our next visit to Kefalonia. Thank you again x

We saw Sarakiniko cottage last time we visited Poros Kefalonia and always wanted to stay there and we were so happy we came back. We had a lovely relaxing week and so thankful to Babis and his wife who were wonderful hosts, thanks so much!

Lovely villa with super patio space, and nice to be so close to a few restaurants in the village. We had a great time.

We had a brilliant holiday in Fiscardo and staying at Villa Dioni was the perfect place to be. The location is breathtaking (make sure you put your foot down to power a car up the drive!) with spectacular views of the ocean and Assos in the distance. The photos don’t do the villa justice… it’s bigger and more spacious than they look. Lovely quality fittings, very comfortable beds and a great pool. Highly recommend as a base to explore this beautiful island. Many thanks Demi and Anna.

Wow! This villa is beautiful and perfect for our family of 8. Ben and Claire couldn't help us enough and responded to us quickly if needed. We were lucky enough to stay for 10 days, half of which were spent chilling at the villa, playing in the pool and using the amazing facilities . Although a rental car is helpful getting around the island, there is a lot of lovely restaurants, bars and beaches a short drive away. We explored around the island, including Fiskardo and Antisamos, which are breathtaking. Thank you for having us, we'd be back in1 a heart beat!

We booked this villa due to a last minute change in our itinerary. Dani reached out right away, and provided us with checkin instructions, local restaurants/shop recommendations, an area guide, etc. It was most helpful. We mistakenly arrived a day early and thankfully Dani was able to accommodate the additional night. She was very responsive, replying almost immediately every time I reached out with questions, concerns. The villa was lovely, clean, well equipped, and those views! Wow! We enjoyed the large private pool every night, and taking our breakfast on the expansive outdoor terrace in the mornings. The villa is located about 5 min drive outside of Argostoli. Set up on a hill side, in a private & quiet area. I would recommend having a car but we also found the villa to be walkable to several lovely restaurants (Sto Psito - highly recommend dining here), Kaminia Beach, Gradaki Beach, a mini market, and several other shops. All in all, we had a wonderful stay & would return. Cheers!

Studioul este modern, curat, amenajat cu multă atenție la detalii, cu toate dotările necesare și arată exact ca în fotografii. Se află la 5 minute cu mașina, sau 20 de minute de mers pe jos de centrul frumoasei capitale Argostoli, pe o străduță liniștita și dispune de loc de parcare. În curtea clădirii sunt plantați lămâi care dau o notă plăcută locației. Gazda este super primitoare, atenta și ne-a întrebat în permanență cu ce ne poate ajuta. Accesul în locație este foarte ușor și de asemenea indicațiile pentru găsirea ei au fost prompte și eficiente. Ne-am simțit foarte bine, recomandăm cu toată încrederea cazarea oferită de Mery și ne dorim să revenim cat mai curând posibil. Mulțumim Mery pentru tot !

The Tiny Dependance was a perfect and peaceful location, offers everything you need and the host was extremely friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend a stay for any couple looking to use Argostoli as a base for exploring this beautiful Island during the day and having plenty of restaurants, shops and bars within walking distance in the evenings. It surpassed our expectations.

Georgia’s place was fantastic. It was very clean and comfortable and was in a great location near to the sea with plenty of free on-street parking nearby - meaning you could really use it as a great base for getting round the whole island. Georgia was very communicative and helpful and even continued to provide advice (and some homemade cakes) during our stay. The housekeeper also came regularly and cleaned throughout each day while we were away. We would highly recommend staying at Georgia’s property when visiting Kefalonia!

We hadden een heerlijke vakantie in onze art studio, iedere dag wakker worden met dat uitzicht! Alles is aanwezig. Pannajota was die week onze gastvrouw, omdat Francesca en Dimitri er niet waren. We werden erg verwend door Panajota met alle ontbijtjes, was erg gezellig. Francesca belde ons wel nu en dan of alles oké was. Nicole gaf ons allerlei tips op t eiland. Dus we voelden ons zeer verzorgt. Prima bedden, heerlijk geslapen! Centraal gelegen op het eiland, alles is binnen ca een uur met de auto bereikbaar. Kefalonie is prachtig en erg groen en erg blauw!

We enjoyed the stay at Efthalia, the surrounding was just nice - view at hills. Perfect tavernas in Makriotika, not so much tourists, so it has local village vibe. It was very good base location to explore west/north/east Kefalonia. The studio was situated next to one of Makriotika taverna. The studio was spacious enough for 2 persons. The kitchen was just okay to prepare breakfast. I would recommend Efthalia studio for time visit in Kefalonia.
