House holiday rentals in Agia Effimia

This place is fabulous. The accommodation is almost new and kept to a high standard. That view Wow! It’s difficult to prise yourself away from the Villa as it’s so comfortable sitting by the pool, soaking up the sun and having such a lovely villa with all of its amenities to hand. Kostas and Tammy are lovely friendly people, they were responsive and Kostas met us in the village upon arrival ( 2mins away) as finding the Villa would have otherwise been tricky. It’s up a hill and a good walk to the nearest bar / restaurant, so we found a car essential. Kostas recommended a local car hire company and they were fabulous 👍. Alan the cat is a bonus , so friendly , we felt obliged to keep him nourished. He’s not allowed inside the Villa but he is in no way a nuisance, just a lovely character. There are many bars and restaurants, some on the beach front and some in the village. Again car essential ( or local taxi). I would highly recommend this accommodation 👍

Dimitris was an amazing host, super welcoming and clearly takes pride in seeing his guests have the best time possible duringtheirstay. The wine and patisserie were really lovely and unexpected touches. The villa was perfect for us and the pool / terrace really makes Villa Zoi special. Kefalonia itself is a beautiful and unspoilt island and Villa Zoi was the ideal base to explore from. Thank you for a great family holiday.

The villa was amazing, even more beautiful than the photos. The pool and the grounds surrounding are very well kept. Kostas met us on check in, spent some time with us with a map of the island and highlighted the places he thought we should go, based on us telling him what we wanted from our holiday. We went to 95% of the places of which were all amazing, so his recommendations were spot on. Ideally located to access the main towns and a variety of beaches. We would definitely recommend this villa and will absolutely be returning in the future.

We spent a lovely week at the villa and its an amazing property, spotlessly clean with everything you need. The hosts were great and really helpful with local recommendations. A car is a must and we managed to cover everything on our list with days out and then evenings spent at the villa. All in all a great holiday and I'd definitely return.

We spent a wonderful 10 days here. The house is comfortable, cool, had plenty of space for our family of 5 and all the amenities we needed. The kitchen is great for cooking, though we often ate out too. Lahos, where the house is located, is close to Stavros, Exogi, Fríkes, Kioni and all the northern beaches (with a car). It’s quiet too, save for the bell of the local church and the sound of goats and sheep. The pool was a welcome place to cool off. Many thanks Serge.

We spent an amazing ten days at this lovely property. It took us by surprise on arrival, photos really don’t do it justice. The rear is nicely enclosed, and the front overlooks an olive grove. The garden around the property itself has an olive tree, several fruit trees, flowers and even a couple of tortoises. 🐢 Some local products were left in the kitchen for us when we arrived, always helpful! The area is not touristy at all, which we liked, but a car is essential if you want to explore the island properly. Good central location. There is on street park close by. Would definitely stay here again! 💙🇬🇷

We have had the most amazing holiday staying at Villa Christina. The villa is exactly as shown in the photos, clean, had everything we needed and a great location with beautiful surroundings. Christina was very responsive, helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend Villa Christina. We are already talking about booking again for next year, we can’t wait to come back!

Very much as described, this is a quiet, comfortable cottage, moments walk from lots of bars and restaurants that overlook the lovely bay of Sami, as well as a good supermarket and great bakery. Less than 10 mins drive from the well-equipped, pretty pebble beach of Antisamos, and surrounded by gorgeous countryside and history, the property has everything you should need for your holiday. The bed is comfy; water pressure in shower is good; parking is easy and free on street outside; the back yard is private; beach towels are provided, and Kostas’ helpful, friendly family make you feel welcome (but not overbearing in any way). The interior is a little tired, but everything works and it was perfect for our holiday budget and was just what we needed. Many thanks to Kostas and his lovely family.

A beautiful penthouse apartment with a spectacular view. The apartment is tastefully decorated with a modern design. Was a perfect base for exploring Kefalonia.

It was our first visit to the island and we explored a lot! We are so happy we chose this home. It was exactly as described. The views were wonderful. We enjoyed the patio each morning and night. It was very peaceful. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable in our travels between 3 rentals, We were fortunate that grapefruit and lemons were in season. What a treat those gifts were. I prepared dinner on our last night and all I needed was available and clean! The home was co clean. It was such a please to speak often with this couple. I’ll de dreaming of our stay.

We loved staying at Ioulia’s place. It is very close to lots of nice places to eat and drink, as well as the port to get the ferry from Kefalonia to Ithaca. Ioulia was very helpful and responsive, she kindly gave us some wine and treats and a lovely flower to match my outfit! I would recommend to anyone visiting Vathy.

Over all, I would highly recommend staying here. There are, however, a few things to be aware of. 1. The walk to the house is up pretty steep set of stairs. This is nothing major, but some may struggle, especially if they’re carrying heavy luggage. 2. The people outside around the house are quite noisy at night. Surprisingly so. We weren’t overly bothered by it, and it did seem to die down on the second night (our first night was a Saturday, so I guess that goes with the territory). 3. The host asks that the hot water breaker be left off until 30 minutes before you want to shower, after which it should be turned off again. This is obviously a bit inconvenient if you’ve been out and about all day and would like to shower then get right to bed. All that being said, this place is 100% worth booking. The setting is fantastic and the host is very nice.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was wonderful, and the view from the terrace during breakfast was absolutely gorgeous. We felt very welcome and would definitely recommend staying here to anyone visiting Poros.

Our stay at Anthi's place in Kefalonia was nothing short of perfection. Anthi, the host, is an incredible and warm-hearted woman who truly made us feel at home. The property is surrounded by beautiful flowers, and the atmosphere is serene and welcoming. From the moment we arrived, we felt like part of her family, as she went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. It’s not an exaggeration to say that this was the best Airbnb experience we’ve ever had. Everything was flawless, and Anthi's kindness added a personal touch that made our stay unforgettable. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a truly special and authentic experience in Greece.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Anna Maria's apartment in Fiskardo. The apartment is clean and beautifully decorated. It is a very calming environment. This is the second time we have stayed here and would certainly come back again. It is simple but elegant and in a fantastic location for exploring Fiskardo. We met Anna Maria (who is lovely!) There are loads of cats in the square ❤️

This was just what we wanted for a week of peace and gorgeous surroundings ...easy access to lovely beaches for a swim and tavernas were great too ... we would love to return next year ... satisfied customers

Penelope’s Villa is excellent. We felt very much at home there. Spiros met us and took our luggage to the villa. The villa itself was spotlessly clean and very well cared for. We appreciated the home made gifts very much. Bed linen and towels were changed 3 times during our 14 night stay and cleaning standards were excellent. The views of Kioni are breathtaking. The villa is only a 10/15 minute walk away from the village by steps or road. There are great places to eat and drink around the waterside. Penelope’s communication was excellent and she gave us good recommendations for eating places in Vathy and places to visit, she really cares about her visitors and ensuring that they are happy. We would definitely stay here again.

Georgia's place was impeccable: beautiful, clean, stylish, cozy and in a great location in the wonderful village of Agia Effimia. Georgia and her manager, Sophia, were extremely accessible, accomodating and kind. They provided a cot and a high chair for our one-year-old baby. Generally, they were very flexible and helpful, and gave us amazing recommendations for our stay. cannot recommend more!

Very good place to stay. Modern furnishings, well equipped. Very clean. Detached accommodation, very quiet, which we liked very much.

Stefanos' place was amazing! beyond great communication, a clean apartment, many amenities and a great location the place felt like home. Stefanos also provided us with extra recommendations on things to do and see which were very helpful. We would definitely stay there again!

Short stay at Maria's who is very welcoming. The apartment is very clean and comfortable with terrace and very well-equipped with washing machine... Convenient location for walking to the ferry that goes to Zakinthos, but requires a car to visit the area. Walking distance to the small beach in about ten minutes. Very quiet. Not very touristy, no bars... Argostóli is close, a 15-minute drive and lively. We enjoyed this authentic area and Maria's house.
