We live in the countryside, surrounded by plenty of greenery and fresh air, with a free spirit, and we welcome guests with open arms. The bakery, featuring traditional furnishings, a wood-burning stove, a loft bed, and a timeless sense of coziness, is located separately on the property. Next to the residential building (40 meters away) is a modern bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophize, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, pure reduction! Adventure instead of luxury.

The apartment was renovated according to ecological renovated from an ecological point of view and has an ingenious indoor climate (clay walls, solid wood floors). It is quietly located and only the sound of the Werra can be heard when the windows are open and lulls you to sleep. From all windows, the apartment offers fantastic views of the Werra/bridge or the old town. The rooms are lovingly furnished. On request: Booking for 1 night and for only 1-2 people possible with additional cleaning and energy package.

Zentral gelegen zwischen Harz und Weser, Göttingen und Solling, ideal zum Wandern, Fahrrad- oder Motorradfahren oder einfach mal auf der Terrasse entspannen und den Blick auf den Teich genießen. Wohnen im alten Dorfkern mit gemütlicher Fachwerkatmosphäre, Holzfußböden und Holzdecken. Für Selbstversorger gibt es eine voll ausgestattete Küche. From the balcony you can see our lovingly designed garden with seating and play equipment that are available for our guests. On the other side, you can see the picturesque castle hill of Adelebsen with a palace, castle and churches. The nearest bus stop is about 2 minutes walk from the apartment, the train station of the village and the nearest supermarket about 10 minutes.

You will stay in a cozy, very bright basement apartment in a wooden house built according to building biology guidelines. The apartment has its own entrance, a beautiful terrace and the garden (fire pit) can also be used. In addition to a kitchen with an oven and fridge, a washing machine is also available. The house is located in a quiet residential area with nice neighbors. The small town, with good infrastructure, can be reached on foot in five minutes.

The Apartment is located on the first floor of our half-timbered house. There are two double bedrooms, one single, a shared kitchen and a shared bathroom. Linens and towels (hair dryer) are provided. Likewise, everything you need for the kitchen. (Kettle, coffee machine, microwave, iron and ironing board. Almost next door there is a grocery store (with daily fresh baked goods), an inn with good cuisine, hairdresser, bus connections

Family Waldkauz's guest house in the middle of the forest

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.

In the idyllic village Königshagen you will find our beautifully restored half-timbered farmhouse. The village is beautifully situated at 360 meters above sea level, right on the edge of the vast Habichtswald. Ideal for walking and tranquility.   The house is very luxurious: three saunas, two bathrooms, pool table and much more! There’s lots to do in the area. Especially around the Nationalpark Kellerwald-Edersee.
