Family-friendly holiday rentals in Adelaide

We came down from Queensland to get married on Aldinga beach!! This space had the space we needed while feeling private and close to the beach and restaurants. Our two dogs loved the back yard and getting warm by the fire. The hosts were always quick to respond and very helpful. We loved our stay!! Telitha, Nick + Roo and Lilly (our dogs)

Trudi’s place is the perfect city HQ for events at the Adelaide Convention Center across the street. We could walk and catch the free tram to the South Australian Museum, Adelaide Botanic Garden, Adelaide Central Market, great restaurants, and more. It was wonderful to have a full kitchen, laundry, and beautiful space to return to each evening. It is well thought out and very clean, and Trudi is so friendly, responsive, and welcoming. We highly recommend!

Lisa’s place was perfect for our family of 4 getaway. Located right on the beach with gorgeous views of the sunset and 10 minutes drive to the McLaren Vale winery. The beds were really comfy and the living room spacious. Lisa was a perfect host

We booked Kingfisher Creek for my birthday as a mums retreat. We instantly felt relaxed and within a few hours already planning our next stay. Eleonora was everything we could ask for as a host - polite and helpful. She even turned the heaters on so we would come into a warm space. Thankyou we will be back!

It's a little gem! Quiet area, very comfortable home, great cooking facilities, noce secure rear yard for the pup! Hwee was so kind when we found my wife couldn't have her operation & immediately refunded the difference. A high quality host, with a great attitude and really nice home. Thank you, Hwee & Jerry!

Jackie's property was an ideal home away from home. Clean, welcoming, a fabulous outdoor space for humans and fur kids, walking distance from the beach and minutes from local shops. We enjoyed our stay and would happily return again!

Only at Marianne's for 2 nights. Was perfect for what we needed. It is on the lower floor of a 2 storey home. Mariannes instructions on how to get there and what to do with lockbox, parking was spot on. Shower had great pressure, wifi easy to access. Didn't use pillows as we take our own. Easy walk to beach with stairs to go down. Close to restaurants and supermarkets. When you are there go to Pitstop Italian Truck up the road. Delicious pasta. Loved that just up the road we could drive our car onto the beach. Only issue I had, and it's my problem not Mariannes was that I unlocked the windows to open them, love fresh air, and when I went to lock them again I found it a bit tricky to do. Lucky I have a handy husband and he worked it out. Also the fridge is in the lounge, not that that's an issue but found that a strange. Overall, great experience, would stay again.

Beautiful studio space overlooking McLaren Vale. Cozy but tastefully decorated and with lots of artworks and quirky things to discover (such as the vinyl collection)! Plenty of wineries right on your doorstep too if you're so inclined...

What an ideal little spot! Sarah was lovely and welcoming. The property was everything we expected and more, the animals are beautiful, and truly gave us more than just a getaway, they gave an experience. We will be back, thank you Sarah.

A great place to stay for a family. The hosts provided a portacot which was a really good one since usually the ones provided can be flimsy. The kitchen had everything we needed. Quiet street and car park in the driveway. Easy self-check in instructions and responsive to communications during stay. Heating very effective for colder days. Be aware of the unlocked glass cabinets with delicate items if you have little curious people, but there is plenty of space for them to play, including a small courtyard and short walk to a playground. 10 minutes to Walkerville shops and access to buses directly to the CBD. 20 minute drive to Tea Tree Plaza so great location overall.

Great home! I stayed there with my 2 greyhounds for 8 days while I was attending a hockey tournament. It was a great location - 15 mins drive to state hockey centre. Backyard was perfect for the dogs. Three great sized bedrooms inside and nice lounge room. Had everything I needed.

We had a quiet and comfortable night. The host was very warm and polite! The room was beautifully designed and very cozy. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. We’d love to come back if we have the chance.

We had a great stay at Tim and Karen’s - the guest space is private, easy to access and very spacious. Location is a beautiful suburb just outside of the CBD area with easy access into the city. Would 100% recommend!

What a great place to stay. Old, but clean and specious with everything you would want including home grown tomatoes and homemade fig jam. the gardens, unfortunately affected by the drought, are great. We would have loved to see them in their full glory. The owners were great also and promptly top us up with a couple of items we were running out of. We would certainly stay again.

Our group had a fantastic stay. We enjoyed the pool and use of the projector. We enjoyed the space greatly and highly recommend to all. All communication was greatly appreciated. Thank you for having us. We would love to return again.

Had such a lovely stay at this apartment! It was clean, stylish, and exactly as described. The location was super convenient, and check-in was smooth and easy. We especially appreciated the little touches that made it feel like a home away from home. Would definitely stay here again — highly recommend!

We chose this property based on its location, size and the fact it had a large pool for the kids – it did not disappoint on any of these. Location was great for us, albeit a little further out of the city but our priority was to be close to the beach and as it was only one block away, it was perfect. The property is about a 15min walk from Semaphore centre which has plenty of amenities, small supermarket, restaurants and shops and with Henley beach less than a 10 minute drive away, there are plenty of options. The property has lots of space, the four bedrooms were a good size. The living areas were substantial as were the outdoor areas. The property would benefit from some cosmetic work, some paint was peeling off in some areas but this did not detract in any way from our stay. We would certainly stay at this property again. Jessie's place was very comfortable, nice and clean. Fairly peaceful apartment complex, we didn't notice much activity or have to wait for elevators etc. It also had an aloccated parking spot within the complex. Great stay, thanks heaps!
