The host was always responsive and easy to communicate. We liked how calm were the surroundings while it was easy to reach everything we needed by walking. The bathroom is worth renovating but we didn't mind it, and everything was spotless clean.

We had a very pleasant stay. We had a peaceful and quiet and beautiful day where we enjoyed the house without getting tired in the crowds of the island. We were always able to reach Ms. Yüce quickly before and after the stay. The house had most things that could be needed during the stay. We only thought there should have been supplies such as kitchen cloth, spare garbage bag, roll towels that were needed during the use of the kitchen, but we were still happy and satisfied. Fantastic Historic Location with a Warm & Helpful Host. Murat was an exceptional host—he kindly waited over an hour for our delayed arrival and gave us a thorough tour of the house. His responsiveness and hospitality made our stay seamless! The house itself is charming and cozy, spread across four levels. The location is unbeatable —just steps from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and lively restaurants with nightly live music (expect some crowd noise, but it adds to the vibrant atmosphere!). A few drawbacks: - Water pressure was inconsistent (sometimes stopping mid-shower). - Kitchen sink odor (there was a persistent odor from the sink, possibly due to plumbing issues) Despite these small issues, we highly recommend* this place for its prime location, unique layout, and Murat’s outstanding hospitality. Perfect for travelers who want to be in the heart of Fatih’s historic district! Thank you, Murat, for making our Istanbul trip so memorable!

Lovely comfortable house for our family of 4. Great views and well equipped. In order to get to Üsküdar town and the Fatih easily you need to take a bus which was not ideal but cengelkoy itself is a nice village with some good restaurants and a great historic tea house. it was not just a stay, it was officially a great experience, and the house smelled like cleanliness when we arrived, and there was nothing to say in terms of location, and you can see it from the top floor at the bottom of the throat. It was also good for us on this hot day with all the rooms air conditioned no matter how hot. They were also flexible with most things, thank you very much for their hospitality, IN SHORT

Perfect location to visit Istanbul’s main attractions. The are is full of nice bars and restaurants. The flat was spacious and clean. The host was welcoming, friendly, responsive and flexible. Highly recommended.

First of all, I would like to thank Mr. Davut for his interest. We were in contact from the beginning to the end. You will have a great time with your friends or family. You can sit in the garden and have a pleasant conversation. The interior design was quite successful.

A very nice apartment! I was at the university in Beykoz for four weeks for work and the two of us lived there very well. The apartment has what you need, including a washing machine. The location is fantastic. View from the balcony of the Bosphorus! Supermarkets nearby, more shops in Pasabahce. A few minutes to the promenade on the Bosphorus. Transport connections are also good. Bus station 3 minutes away, in the evening there is a boat connection from the Golden Horn to Pasabahce. We would mist definitely visit again.

Duygu was a brilliant host. She was friendly and quick to respond every time I messaged. It was very nice of her to personally welcome us when we arrived at her place and give us a tour of the house. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, crockery, cutlery and equipment. The entire piece was well furnished and the rooms were exactly as in the photos. Linen was clean. There was a nice spot in the backyard for our group to hang out as well as a living room. There was running hot water. The neighbourhood was quiet and safe. Galata Tower, Istiklal Street, Taksim square and Nisantasi were about a twenty minute walk. There are many restaurants and groceries are available nearby. All in all, our stay at Duygu's place exceeded our expectations. I would recommend this house to big groups.

The Galley Hotel was extremely accommodating to us for our 14+ person family reunion in Istanbul! This trip's purpose was for our family from Ukraine, Georgia, and America to all meet in one place for the first time in years, and we are so glad we chose The Galley Hotel for our extended stay. It was a perfect location both for accessing the city, having a spot to rest and recharge, and hosting family breakfasts and dinners. The hotel's resources were also very reliable. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfasts we ordered were the perfect way to start our days, and the kitchen was such a vital part of our stay, providing for a place to gather, eat, and play games as a family. We stayed here as a group of 10 for my 30th birthday and had the best time. The house was spacious and super comfortable – plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. The bedrooms are large, and having multiple bathrooms made getting ready so much easier for a big group. Plus, location is amazing!! The kitchen is really well-equipped and open, which made it perfect for all the birthday prep we did. There’s also a lovely little garden where we spent a lot of time hanging out, having drinks, and just enjoying the space. Even though it was hot outside, the AC kept the house cool, which made a huge difference. Overall, it was such a great place for a group stay – we all genuinely loved it and would definitely come back!

We enjoyed our stay at the accommodation very much and fully appreciated the fantastic view. Despite the larger group, as we traveled with children, we had enough space for everyone. Check-in went smoothly, even if we arrived a little late – Ahmet's family was waiting for us and welcomed us warmly. The accommodation is well equipped and offers everything you need for everyday life. However, some furniture could be renewed in the foreseeable future as it shows signs of wear and tear over time.

Great location, quiet neighborhood, worth the time to relax.

place is lovely and spacious, was perfect for our little family reunion . Location is great right next to the sea, lots of space for everyone, weather wasn’t good enough for the pool or swimming in the sea but we had great time by the open fire and in the little summer house in the garden. Had everything we need in the kitchen ,only thing is home decor wasn’t our taste but that is really very personal. Garden is the die for, well recommend it x

We liked it very much as a place, because of the garden, it was very good for the house due to the fact that the house is wooden, but you do not spend time in the house, it makes a little noise when you walk, but you are just going to sleep, so it is not very disturbing, thanks to the host, it was very kind and caring, thank you very much, we stayed very satisfied.
