This secluded 1BR Cottage is located right off the Coast of the Atlantic Ocean with guests having a walking path with direct access to the beach. Balconies off the living room & bedroom are great to sit and relax and enjoy the outdoors. The spacious bedroom area is located on the entire 2nd Floor w/ a Queen Sofa Bed on the 1st floor to sleep an additional 2 guests -6min to Bass Harbor -10min to Southwest Harbor -30min to Acadia National Park Cadillac Mtn Entrance -35min to downtown Bar Harbor

Acadia National Park ocean front & garden cottages

Both our houses are designed in the contemporary style. We used custom made decor and cherry tree furniture. A lot of windows, glass doors, bright and open space are inside the house. It is very quiet outside. You most likely will be alone at the beach. We share the whole sea cove with only one neighboring house. It is a pure paradise if you want to live on the beach on your own and within minutes of driving to the main local attractions. You'll be amazed of our botanical garden and landscape.

This vintage cozy cottage in Surry sits right between Blue Hill Village and Ellsworth making it easy to plan your visit. Enjoy the Blue Hill Peninsula and Acadia National Park with hiking, beaches, boating and more. Just under an hour to Acadia. Ten minute drive to the beautiful cove beach on Newberry Neck Rd also makes for a wonderful bike ride. Walkable to the town boat launch allows for easy boating/kayak access or a nice evening stroll. Located on Mount Desert Islands, "Quietside". The cottage features high ceilings and an open floor plan, with a small deck looking into the woods The walls are decorated with original art work by the owner. Our location is central to the island, situated just outside the village of Somesville; 15 minutes to Bar Harbor, 10 minutes to Southwest Harbor by car. Hiking and swimming opportunities are just 5 minutes away by car. The Arthaus is not suitable for pets, despite our love for them.
