I am a very observant and careful person, and I tell them something, they can arrive at this place with their eyes closed. The hospitality and experience of being with Adel is wonderful. I came with a friend and I'm sure I'll return with my mother And last thing, definitely being able to look out and see the pyramids is magical

Very friendly, helpful and accommodating hosts. Good location only a minutes walk from the pyramid entrance. We felt safe and comfortable here. Good value for money with breakfast and drinks included.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here! Ibrahim and his family are very kind and helpful. We felt at home. The food is AMAZING, it's truly homemade Egyptian flavors, absolutely recommended. We had several meals, and all of them were different every time. We tried camel for the first time, it was super delicious! Ibrahim was always asking if we needed anything. We had our meals on the top floor there was a very nice view of the pyramids. It has been a truly magical experience to be in Egypt and to be hosted and welcomed by these warm people. Thank you so much!

Such a beautiful view! Super spacious and clean! Mohamed was incredibly helpful at assisting with check in and answering any requests we had. This is a hot spot location and is close to many amazing restaurants and the famous square. It is a little noisy but hey that’s part of the fun of being in the middle of the buzzing vibrant city. I had an amazing stay! The room was not only clean and comfortable, but the view of the Nile River was absolutely breathtaking—waking up to that every morning was such a treat. What truly made the experience even more special was the host. They were incredibly responsive, kind, and went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. From great local tips to quick replies, I felt truly taken care of. I can’t recommend this place enough—if you're looking for a peaceful getaway with stunning views and a host who genuinely cares, this is it!

If you want to live like a local, wake up to views of the Great Pyramids in Giza, walk to local markets, be a Cairean for a few days; Mahmoud's place is right for you. Mahmoud is an absolutely committed host, interested in making your stay comfortable, providing tips and helping plan your trip to Cairo the best anybody can. Mahmoud lives in the same apartment complex and is minutes away for any question or help needed. One evening we were treated to a 4 course home-cooked egyptian meal, which few restaurants serve or match in quality. Thanks very much to Mahmoud, our vacation to Cairo was made all that more pleasurable and memorable.

Gorgeous historic home with impeccable vibes.

This lovely 2-bedroom flat in Cairo downtown, truly impressed me in every way. The location couldn't be better, Tahrir Square and Nile just a short walk away. The apartment itself is stylishly decorated, filled with sunlight, and extremely cozy. Everything inside from the furniture to the kitchen appliances is brand new and top quality. The air conditioning in every room worked flawlessly, keeping the space refreshingly cool even in the peak of summer. Both bedrooms felt like peaceful, private sanctuaries, with big windows that showcased breathtaking city views. The entire place was spotless, thoughtfully maintained, and stocked with everything needed for a hassle free and pleasant stay. Whether you're visiting Cairo for work, tourism, or just to unwind, this apartment offers the ideal place to stay.

Traveling alone with my two kids, we had a great time here. We even extended by a few days. Amir was very responsive, quick and cordial to each of our requests. The rooms are big. The beds are comfortable. The apartment is well appointed and functional. Restaurants, shops, metro, .. everything is within easy walking distance. The neighborhood is very safe, even in the evening. Cairo, however, remains a city! Noisy and lively, sometimes until late at night. Sensitive people will equip themselves with Quies balls to sleep peacefully! We highly recommend this listing!

I booked the place for its location and it completely delivered on that. It is right in front of the pyramids and I was able to see them from my room as well as the rooftop. The light show was clearly visible from the rooftop and I immensely enjoyed the stay. They helped with a luggage issue I had with the airlines and were helpful in arranging food according to preference.

Thank you for the wonderful stay. Everything was like described. Well airconditioned and clean room. The location is a bit unhandy like others have described but for some it might be part of the charm. Wonderful building, especially the beautiful library!

We were in Cairo for 4 days. El-Darb El Ahmar is a poor neighborhood in Cairo that is very safe despite its poverty. It is not considered touristy. We have also seen hardly any tourists. Egyptians congratulated us on booking accommodation here, because here we would get to see old Egyptian life. It is a swarm of many small stalls, craftsmen, many tuk-tuks, Vespas and friendly people. Since there are many mosques, the muezzins can be heard very loudly. It felt like a journey through time. We felt extremely safe and welcome. The hostess Sara also helped us perfectly with all our wishes (e.g. pick-up from the airport).

Very nice location to explore the city from here. It is close to ambassadors, which ensures a quiet and safe environment. There is a calm that you will not find in the city. Nesr was always there for us, be it with breakfast, tips or questions. Great host!

Wish i stayed longer! Very nice place, an oasis hidden amongst the chaos of Cairo haha Very responsive and the staff were perfect, always friendly and willing go above and beyond. We are very happy with this hostel… great location and great people!!!! Mohamed is always answered all my questions and concerns…. All the guys were very friendly and we felt safe and well cared for by everyone .
