Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Abbadia Lariana

It was a wonderful stay and the people in Nesso very friendly. The little shop nearby stocks everything we needed and the 'Sport' pizza restaurant was very good. Managing the stairs daily saved me from the need to go jogging. Nesso is special because there is no traffic noise although, if you are driving then the roads are narrow and need 100% attention. The ferries are really worth the fares, buses too. So many thanks and it will stay in our memory as a brilliant BnB

Absolutely beautiful! The view is extraordinary and the Airbnb is clean with good utensils in the kitchen. Davide and Kerry also gave really fast answers. Amazing!

It would be a sin to write anything bad about the host and the place he offers. We arrived on Sunday afternoon and it was very difficult to find a parking space, but Francesca found us and offered a private underground parking, so we drove around the area stress-free. Francesca is a very nice, cordial person who explained everything to us in detail, transport, where to shop, places worth visiting, so we could focus more on relaxation. As for the place of stay, I will say honestly, despite the beautiful surroundings, it felt so good there that sometimes it was hard to leave😀. Clean, neat, the house is decorated in a very stylish way. Coffee on the balcony in the morning, pure pleasure. The beach is a 5-minute walk, the garage is 3 minutes, so you can go without a plan, because even if you suddenly change your mind, it does not involve tedious planning. The area is a fairy tale! Really great place and excellent setting. Friendly and always available host. Private fenced yard with sun loungers and shade, beach across the road 20 meters. (Note: Stony beach, swimming shoes recommended). Parking space in the yard. There are a few restaurants nearby and a few in the center, about 600 m. There is also a port. By boat to Bellagio or Lecco. However, be prepared as if you were going to a cottage, as there is no grocery store in Onno, the nearest one is 10 km away. A car is necessary. An ideal place for those who value peace and privacy.

This home is incredible. The view is stunning. But it is a decent hike up to the house. If you come by ferry it would take 30 mins from terminal to get to the home with many steps. Very challenging with a heavy suitcase. If you come by car it will take approximately 10-15 mins. Lots of stairs. Pack light if you’re able to. The home itself is over 3 levels by a spiral staircase. Bring light luggage if possible. The deck is so nice to spend time on. Lovely, memorable home with a friendly helpful host. Will never forget this beautiful place

The stay was great. From the accommodation, the view of the lake is fantastic and the pool location is very neat.

Luisella and her husband were very friendly and helpful getting us settled. They took the time to share recommendations for restaurants and hikes. They also had a map handy and wrote out the places they were recommending. The house was fabulous and in a great location - loved being able to listen to the nearby waterfall when we had our windows open. Also appreciated ability to walk to downtown Varenna. It was only a 20 minute walk and preferred to have a house in a quieter place. Our stay was perfect in every way!

Incredible views. Highly recommend renting a scooter to make commute up and down the hill much easier. 10/10 would stay here again.

The stay at Flavia's was wonderful all around. The apartment is spacious, very tasteful and lovingly furnished – you can immediately tell that someone with a sense of aesthetics and comfort has designed it. Everything has really been thought of: the equipment leaves nothing to be desired. A real highlight is the large, secluded terrace – ideal for relaxing in absolute privacy. The location of the apartment is also ideal: In a few minutes you can walk to the city, the supermarket or the restaurant - and also to the city beach. The crystal-clear water of the lake is a true blessing and invites you to swim and relax. Flavia herself was incredibly warm. She received us personally, was always available and took loving care during the stay – including many helpful recommendations. We felt very comfortable and will keep this holiday in our best memory. Our stay at Claudia’s was nothing short of fabulous - her home was a highlight of our two days in Como. We were so eager to enjoy her patio and view of the city / lake we opted to eat dinner at home both nights of our stay. The home was spacious, beautifully decorated, and Claudia gave us great recommendations to make our time the best possible.

4 nights didn’t feel enough and we left with such a heavy heart. Laura’s place is breathtaking and pictures don’t do it any justice. We were so sad to leave the tranquil and peaceful villa. I’ve never stayed anywhere like this and look forward to going back.

What an incredible stay! Michele’s place has everything you need to feel at home, all in an amazing location. There are enough amenities nearby such as the convenience store and 2 restaurants/bars, along with bus stops and even the dock for ferries across the lake. The views from every window and the rooftop are stunning. Thank you, Michele!

Andrea’s apartment is extraordinary. The terrace and the bedrooms overlook the lake and the entire apartment is spotless and well equipped. We are so grateful for our time in Varenna and beautiful lake Como. To top it off our host helped us secure a reservation at Al Prato a very hard to get into restaurant located just across the square from our apartment. Best dining and service we had - highly recommend Andrea’s apartment. It is magical.

The apartment is very nice and the communication with Luca was straightforward and he responded quickly to messages. The area is pleasantly quiet and you can quickly reach the neighboring towns by public transport. We would come back anytime:)

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The location was within easy walking distance of the train and ferry stations and the old town center. The view from the patio and living room was lovely. One day was rainy, but the covered parts of the patio and open doors from the living room made for relaxing lake and mountain views, even in the rain. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was handy for cooking a couple dinners, and the washing machine was small but convenient for a couple quick loads. Communication and check-in went smoothly. Highly recommended.

We felt at home with Sonja from the first reception. We lacked nothing in the apartment. It is fully equipped for physically disabled guests, including sewing kits and small board games. We felt a family atmosphere throughout the premises, with toys and equipment for children. Sonja was always obliging and helpful to us. A stay that we already count among our most beautiful holiday accommodations and can recommend without reservation.

Super charming home with absolutely stunning views of Lake Como better seen in person. The amenities were wonderful and the hosts were so very friendly, attentive and helpful. Highly recommend staying here! Also, be sure to book any transportation ahead of time.

This place was the perfect place to stay if you want a beautiful view of the lake and to be in a quiet neighbourhood. There was pros and cons with the location (cons- trouble finding a taxi to and from the train station and not much in close walking distance & pros- beautiful view, right beside the C30 bus stop) but if you’re up for adventure and fully able bodied it’s worth it! We bought some groceries in Como after spending a the day there and had dinner one night in, walked down the stairs by the bus stop to the lake level for dinner at Ristorante Vapore sul Lago di Como and spent a day at the Lido di Faggeto Miamilaryo, which was a beautiful beach club with good food and drinks. The house was everything we needed and the view had us speechless the whole time. The hosts were quick to respond and help when we had questions. We would highly recommend this stay!

Matteo’s place is a very nice apartment in a great location, super convenient to go around, also surrounded by shops and restaurants. Worth it!

Serena's place is absolutely lovely, we felt right at home straight away. The accomodation is spotlessly clean and in a very pretty area that is easily accessed by car or public transport. there is a free night bus that runs up and down the road to Varenna between 7pm-Midnight which is very convenient. Perledo is a very tranquil place with fantastic views. We were checked in by Serena's father who was very helpful and then visited by Serena soon after. Both were very lovely and helpful and passed great knowledge of their local area. We were even lucky enough to get a free pass to Vezio castle which had some of the best views I've seen.
