This is a beautiful and quiet place. The house was spacious and comfortable and I could feel the host's touches everywhere. Above all, during a large power outage, Lydia said that she was worried about our safety and came to us. Even though we couldn't meet because we were out and about, that alone was a great comfort for us who were embarrassed. Thanks to you, I had a good stay.

Very good host! She welcomed us with a lot of information and good recommendations for restaurants and visiting Lisbon. The cleaning was impeccable. However, there was a smell of dampness present. Maybe just the concrete buildings that cause this, as we are not used to this smell in Quebec. The small intimate corner is inviting! Thank you Annabella for your warm welcome!

Although short, we enjoyed our stay, the house corresponded to the description, located in a pleasant space and close to main areas such as Mafra and Ericeira. We recommend it.

Cozy and comfortable. This place was perfect for our needs. Anabela was a great host! Be prepared for some narrow streets in the neighborhood but we got used to them pretty quick. Be sure to walk around Penedo at sunset - beautiful!

We loved our month’s stay at Arlinda’s place - a house full of art and history - especially appreciated Arlinda’s creative use of driftwood and branches that made for functional and interesting spaces - 3 outdoor spaces! Her home is right outside the castle walls, easy to walk into the center -

It was a wonderful place with a magnificent view of the sea. A place that invites you to linger and unwind. The house was in top condition and clean. We felt completely comfortable and José was a great host.

Sofia was a very proactive and friendly host. All key information were promptly provided days prior to check-in. Easy self-access with the instructions provided. Rooms were ready and property was clean by the time we arrived. It is a 10-20 minutes commute to certain shops at late hours, however, the privacy is worth its keep. There is supermarket super close by, for us was unfortunate due to the time we would arrive everyday at the property meant they were always closed, but those seeking a holiday, that would be no issue. Lovely spacious living room with doors that you see straight out to the swimming pool. As we were there mainly for business purposes, we did not manage to have usage of certain available amenities - but worth to those coming in for a holiday. Sofia was also always efficient in responding, regardless of time (unethical on my part to message pas midnight) nonetheless, she would respond right away. Beautiful home and an amazing host.

Mario and his place were fantastic!! The location was great, with easy access to the sights and the metro. Mario was super helpful and responsive. Absolutely loved my stay at his place. Would definitely stay there again!!

Our stay was excellent!! Ricardo and his family are very friendly, the space and the accommodation in the bus was fantastic. We had everything we needed to cook. There is much more to tell, but it will have to be future guests to discover! This bus experience is really worth it.

This place met our every expectation! From plenty of towels to an amazing (powerful) hairdryer! Large bedrooms. Spacious areas throughout! The pool was amazing. They even have a Lilly pond for frogs!! The place was quiet and peaceful! The house itself had an area for kids, and an area to cook/grill and eat outside and even a hammock!! No other homes are around you and it feels like your own! I also want to mention the mattresses. I am a stickler for mattresses and this place had two very nice thick ones (rare in air bnbs). I want to come back again just to stay here lol. Highly recommend!!

The house is in excellent condition, all clean, tidy and renovated. It is a great option for a quiet weekend, with a clean pool and a calm environment. The host was attentive and responded quickly whenever we needed. I highly recommend it!

This place was perfect for what we were looking for. We needed somewhere that could accommodate 9 of us, 6 adults and 3 children under 3. The house itself was beautiful, very tidy and had so much space. The hosts Ana and Nuno had thought of the children and provided us with cots, high chairs, children’s dinnerware, and even things for the children to play with. The swimming pool was gated off as described. The location felt really private and quiet, with beautiful views of the sea. We were able to walk down to the local shops and beach of Praia das Maçãs, so we didn’t need to hire a car. Ana was so friendly and helpful before and during our stay. We had such a lovely time here, and would love to come back one day.

Elsa is a wonderful Host, just like her incredible villa. From the reservation, through the arrival to our departure, we were accompanied with kindness and benevolence throughout this experience. The house is ideal for hosting a large family, or groups. We had an extraordinary stay, in complete privacy, in this vast and comfortable place. Great place to stay at, very clean house.

We had a wonderful stay at the apartment. The accommodation was very clean, well equipped and is in a central location – perfect for exploring the entire area by car. Many beautiful beaches and great hiking opportunities are nearby, some even within walking distance. The location is ideal for those who like to be active and still want to enjoy the tranquility. A special thank you to our host Jaoau, who was incredibly friendly and helpful - he was always there to help us with tips and support. We highly recommend the place and would come back any time!

We stayed at Casa Rosaria for a week and really enjoyed it. We used it as a base to explore the region and many places of interest were 30-40 minutes away in various different directions. The renovation was beautifully done and the space looks like it's straight out of the pages of a design magazine. The kitchen and pantry were well stocked with everything we needed. Sarah and Steve were friendly and knowledgeable hosts and we highly recommend Casa Rosaria at Chumbaria.

Perfect! We loved the house and the area. Easy check-in and check-out, and the house had everything we needed. Rita and her husband brought firewood to use for the fireplace which made our stay extra comfortable. Definitely recommend

Duarte was a communicative, responsive and helpful host - we really appreciated this as there's only so much you can research online. The location of Casa da Encosta is magical, the fact you can't park outside makes it all the more special with no immediate road noise. The small terraced garden which surrounds the house is totally charming, offering plenty of little places to separate yourself from others should you wish and read a book or enjoy the view. Fixtures and fittings are of a high standard and the renovation executed thoughtfully. The feeling of being inside a jewelled box comes to mind. Yet it feels like someone's home and you feel welcome in it. A thoroughly enjoyable stay in a remarkable region of Portugal. Thank you.

Perfect accommodation for a stay in Portugal (1 hour from Lisbon and 1 hour from Nazaré). Very clean and very well-equipped accommodation. Maria is a pleasant and understanding host (late arrival due to a flight delay). Very good communication. We recommend this listing.
