Holiday rentals with a fireplace in 2nd arrondissement

What a beautiful house in the country! Plenty of space, gorgeous backyard with lots to do & a convenient patio for dining al fresco. Nicholas was super helpful, responsive & a valuable resource. 15 min from Versailles & a quiant little village with friendly people, a beautiful church, and all the necessary shops within walking distance. Lots of hills in town & lots of stairs in the house so if you have health restrictions, 4 floors of living space & outside stairs might be challenging. If not, go for it. It's an absolute paradise in the country, perfect for relaxing, for hosting and for exploring a more leisurely pace of life. Thank you so very much, Nicholas, for letting us stay at your beautiful place. We absolutely loved it!!!

We 100% recommend the place. We felt very comfortable. Louisa and her family are great hosts. The location was just perfect for us. Supermarket, restaurants and the train station were within walking distance. We will definitely be happy to come back.

Overall it was very nice, he was very responsive and made check in very smooth and easy, which after 3 flights and 10 hrs of flying was very nice. He even let us check in early and had available wine for us to enjoy. 10/10 would definitely come again. 😁

Agnes was an amazing host. She met us to let us in and give us a quick tour. She was very responsive throughout the stay. We absolutely loved the flat and did NOT want to leave! It is very comfortable and the amount of history and character in it is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. There are plenty of stores and restaurants in walking distance and it’s in a very peaceful area. An Uber into Paris was about 25 minutes which was very convenient for us. Coming from the United States, we compared the area to a storybook scene compared to the US being mostly a cheap Hollywood set quickly thrown together. 😂

A perfect stay with friends to celebrate a bachelorette party! The house is amazing, tastefully decorated, spacious, clean and very well equipped. Everything was functional: jacuzzi, steam room, kitchen... A real cocoon of comfort just a few minutes from Paris, but in absolute calm. Ideal for a group of 8 people, we had an unforgettable time. Thank you again for this impeccable welcome, we will definitely come back!

Pol’s place is a perfect oasis in the city. Peaceful, beautiful and private but in a great location. He was very responsive and helpful with tips for the house and the city. Would absolutely stay again

We spent three nights at Anne's place and loved the experience. Literally cannot think of a single complaint. The house was built in 1905 and it's clear that Anne has taken really good care of the place. Comfortable bedrooms and lots of spaces to hang out. The garden was beautiful. We would definitely return if we ever make it back to Paris!

Fabulous apartment and super responsive hosts. Loved the vibrant location in the heart of Paris near Metro and lots of great restaurants. Apartment is bright,airy and super comfortable for my husband and I . We very much appreciated all the attention to our requests for help navigating Paris. A winner all around!

Loved the apartment it was spotless and exactly what we hopefully it would be. Zarah was extremely helpful and kind. We loved the balcony for morning coffee and evening wine after a lovely meal at one of many fabulous local restaurants. We will definitely be back!!

This studio was perfect for two travelers visiting for a few days. The location is absolutely perfect. All the sites we wanted to visit were within walking distance, or accessible via the metro stop steps away from the door. The grocery store across the street provided our evening snacks and wine, and the cafe below was our source of morning espresso. The little yellow boulangerie just out the door to the left met all our pastry needs. In addition to the excellent location, the studio itself was wonderful. It was spotlessly clean, which can be a challenge in older buildings. And the pictures don’t do justice to the view. We never drew the curtains, and felt immersed! There were some reviewers with concerns about noise, but our experience was that it was a very quiet place. In fact, after a long day of sightseeing and being in crowds, we found it to be a wonderful respite. Overall it was a fantastic little studio for two travelers, and I would stay again! We had a wonderful stay at Sixtine’s! We arrived early and she was happy to let us check in ahead of time. She also provided a travel cot for our infant and had it set up for us! You cannot beat the location, amenities, and beautiful view of Paris’ signature rooftops. From the beginning of the trip to the end, Sixtine provided perfect communication. We were very well cared for. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

Mathieu is a super host, always very friendly and was attentive at all times, the instructions to get to the apartment were very accurate, and he also gave us recommendations to enjoy our trip more. We arrived earlier and had flexibility with the schedule. The location is excellent and there are plenty of options for restaurants, shops, cafes, and bakeries within walking distance. We loved staying there ☺️👍

Quiet building despite being in the city. Walkable with lots of restaurants, cafes and a few grocery stores nearby. The metro station is just a few steps away so it was easy to take the subway. There is shared laundry (washer/dryer combo) with one other apartment - it was nice to have but we didn’t end up using it much since it could only be used from 9am - 7pm and we had a busy schedule. Overall a good stay, many thanks to David and Isabel for hosting us!

Wow, this was a fantastic stay and I will try to stay here or elsewhere in the second next time I’m in Paris if not available. The apartment is quite airy and light and squeaky clean. Yes cozy but fine for 2-3 people. There are several excellent food venues nearby, especially on Rue Montorgueil, including Stohrer for sweets and L’Escargot (had snails and foie gras and a large sea bream for a reasonable price) plus great cheese and charcuterie shops. Very walkable to the Marais, Picasso museum, Pinnault Collection, Louvre etc. Yann was a friendly and charming host. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous Paris apartment. Private and yet very convenient to restaurants, the Metro, cafes. Host offered a personal check in assistant who spoke English: very much appreciated. It’s simply a stunning place.

Great place to stay with our Family of 9. All you need is there. Close to the train station to Paris center.

Ben’s place is located in Enghein Les Bains, one of the most posh Paris suburb which can easily commute to Paris within 10 mins. The villa itself is 5 mins walk to the train station (Deuil-la-Barre) and everything including enghein city, supermarkets and restaurants. I am quite familiar with Paris and I always feel like booking something at Enghein Les bains, Villa itself is nice and spacious. we walked through roads full of flowers and roses. Ben is very friendly, flexible and responsive. I don’t have any hesitation to recommend it to anyone

A bright spacious place to stay as a jade with a private garden, an island of tranquility, really 25 minutes from the heart of Paris. We spent 6 nights in the house with my retired parents and my 4 year old toddler. The hospitality and helpfulness of his family brought a smile to our face, we met at any time during the stay. The 3 bedrooms are more than enough, the kitchen is well equipped, the salt and pepper spices. The baths are clean, the bigger one is extremely spacious, the tub is almost a pool for the toddler. The mattress is very soft with more tests. The breakfast is 5 minutes away from the accommodation (Boulangerie, Patisserie, supermarket and the farmer's market on Thursday). Parkolas on the adjacent street is free. The host's dog is friendly, sometimes it passes through the fenced garden, but it didn't bother us, the child loved the dog very much. TV, Netflix, YouTube, the couch is a toddler's favorite. I recommend it to those who like peace and quiet. I couldn't bring any specifics. We're back!

Very good accommodation, very nicely decorated with the canvas of Jouy (wallpaper, cushion, etc.) very well equipped. Very nice welcome by the manager. We had a great time with the family. I recommend it.

Traveling to Paris for the Summer Olympics was a bucket list event, and finding a place to accommodate six adults comfortably would have its challenges. We lucked out and found this great house in Garches! There was ample space and the layout was great for three couples. Seonhee arranged our car service and met us upon arrival (with croissants and wine) to give us the house tour; she was so responsive before, during, and after our stay, including having her cleaning lady come in after the first week (for a fee)). She prepared instructions/directions and explained how the nearby bus and train systems worked which was very helpful. Even the grocery store is in walking distance making this a real prime location. The only drawback is to be mindful of the low ceilings on the top floor. If you're about 6' tall be aware to occasionally duck. Apart from that the house was great and we would definitely rent again.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. It is very quiet in a nice area. With Uber it takes about 30 minutes to the center of Paris. The house corresponds exactly to the description. It is very spacious, nice and cozy. We felt right at home. Communication with Matthieu has always worked smoothly. Overall a very good experience!
