Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Zurich

It was an extremely positive experience staying at Christina's cottage! Christina was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Our flight landed late at night, and she made checking in flexible for us, which was convenient. Instructions were clear, and she showed us around the cottage, making us feel at home. She answered all our questions and even went out of her way to drive us from/to the train station when she was able to do so! She is such a kind host and made our stay in her cottage a favorable part of our trip. The amenities in the cottage matched what was listed online. The local area was very peaceful and quiet and had beautiful surroundings. The cottage was within walking distance of Lake Zurich and the train station, which made getting around easy. If I return to this area of Switzerland, I will stay with Christina again. I highly recommend Christina's cottage for travelers visiting this area of Switzerland for a peaceful place to stay while visiting the country!

If you’re looking for a place to stay that is private and peaceful but easy to access hotspots and hiking, look no further! 10/10 would recommend!!

Michael’s place in Eberswil was an absolute delight. The location is perfect if you’re looking for a quiet, scenic stay just outside of Zug — surrounded by nature but still close enough to everything you need. The apartment was spotless, well-equipped, and felt very cozy and welcoming. We especially appreciated the attention to detail — from the comfortable bed to the thoughtful touches in the kitchen. Waking up to the serene countryside views was a highlight of our stay. Michael was a fantastic host — responsive, friendly, and respectful of our privacy. Check-in was seamless, and he made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area looking for a relaxing and comfortable place to stay. We’d definitely come back!

I often visit Zurich, Switzerland for business trips. This time, I stayed at Sylvia’s Airbnb for 5 days and 4 nights for the first time. To sum it up, my team and I found Sylvia’s place to be perfect. If we visit Zurich again in the near future, we will definitely consider staying at her place first. The house is located in a quiet residential area, so we could enjoy the peaceful garden and lots of green nature. Every room—including the living room, kitchen, and office—was very clean and well-organized. All the furniture was well-prepared and nothing was missing. The whole house feels like a modern gallery or art museum. During my 4-day stay, I used a rental car, so I didn’t use public transportation from Sylvia’s place. But for me, it was very clear that the house had good parking space, and it was easy and convenient to park there.

This is Nicole's home, and it is a very warm and welcoming place. She made room for us to put our belongings. We hope it will be available the next time we need to go to Uster.

Only stayed for a night, but it was a nice place with comfortable beds & plenty of bathrooms.

Ruth and I had a really good written communication, where Rut offered to pick us up at the train station. It was amazing to walk up a small hill to the house. Lush garden and a real traditional Swiss house. There was a wonderful view over Lake Zurich. Everything was in order in the house. Nice kitchen with everything you need. Large living room with cozy furniture and dining furniture. Beautiful balcony with garden furniture. Bedroom with a good bed and door to the garden. Nice bathroom with plenty of towels. We felt very welcome and Rut was lovely to talk to. We'd love to come again.

This was my second stay—and for good reason! I loved it the first time and couldn’t wait to come back. The check-in was super easy, and the apartment has everything you need to feel at home, even for a longer stay. A fully equipped kitchen (with all utensils, a coffee machine, and even a barbecue), cozy beds, a spacious living room, and the most breathtaking views from every room. It’s also very accessible—there are no thresholds in the rooms, and you can easily get from the street to the apartment without any steps, which is great for families with kids or anyone with mobility concerns. Highly recommended and definitely a place I’ll return to again!

We were a family of four people, we had a great time at Himanshu’s place, very neat and spacious, kitchen had all the gadgets bathrooms were neat and clean!!! Would surely recommend to our friends and family!!! Thank you very much Himanshu!!!

I cannot say enough good things about Ramon, Doreen, Thilo and their two k cats Yumi and Orion. The hosts were so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We felt right at home. The house and the views are absolutely beautiful. The cats were super fun and cute. They live near a train station, getting around was super easy. We would definitely come back to stay with them. This is an Airbnb that will be difficult to beat! The hosts are very helpful and responsive, we really enjoyed spending time with them. The home and the landscaping is so beautiful with so much care. Then there's the incredible view!!! The space is perfect, the view is gorgeous, and the breakfast was delicious! We hope to be back soon!

We enjoyed staying at Christina's place. It was a short distance from the airport with great garden and lots of privacy. Walkable distance from good restaurants and grocery stores. Though our stay was short it was convenient and comfortable.Would definitely recommend the place for its convenience and atmosphere.

Superb view. Great location. Easy public transportation to Zurich and all of central Switzerland. Convenient parking. Patrick, as host, is gracious, responsive, and very helpful with activity suggestions.
